    Are you leaving Adobe? If so, where are you headed? Drop a comment below to help a fellow creative out! ✌+❤ - Ginny

    I have written professionally for three decades. Lots of my work is out there, and I just know it’s going into the bilge tanks of AI training programs. I wish we had options like these. Thank you for providing protection for artists working in Adobe. Love the channel as well.

      I question if even the opt out will in fact opt us out… no telling! However, it’s at least some level of agency over our work. There are new programs like Glaze that are allowing some protections for artists work. I wonder if/how the blockchain will impact art integrity and AI in the future. Definitely an interesting topic to consider and discuss. I’m not anti-AI, but I’m definitely pro optionality, especially when a large corporation like Adobe is blatantly stealing their paying customers work. Not to be chronocentric, but we live in such an interesting time!
      Thanks for watching and supporting! ❤️

      Right on! I was surprised it was such a simple fix. Will Adobe abide by our opt outs? 🤔 Let’s sure hope so!

    Thank you so much for this. I tend to use older versions of their software anywho given that all my tech is at least 8 years old, but this is still super helpful. Cheers!

      Glad I could help! The older versions are generally safe 😊

    Thanks a lot for sharing this Ginny! I feel kind of overwhelmed with dealing with all the ai copyright issues at the moment. Having a lot of work and two little kids, I don't get ahead of the topic.

      Sarah! It can be so overwhelming. Maybe when companies decide to quit being ruthless, we won’t have to worry about it. I won’t hold my breath though! 😅

    Wow. I’m so glad I seen this. I just turned this setting off. Thanks for the info and keeping it short and sweet. 🙏🏾

    You can always revert to Adobe CS6.

    May I ask what is the additinal feature we need to turn off in the photoshop app you mentioned in the description? Do you mean for ipads, etc?

    • @GinnyStLawrence
      @GinnyStLawrence  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely. Adding this to the description as well:
      For the extra step within photoshop:
      Edit > preferences > product improvement > in photoshop improvement program, uncheck “yes, I’d like to participate in AI training models” and then hit “okay”
      Hope this helps!

    The setting isn't there, what do I do? I got creative cloud cause it was part of my college program, now what am I gonna do, did I was my years in my program learning adobe only for it to pull this stupid stunt?

    • @GinnyStLawrence
      @GinnyStLawrence  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It should be. If you go here account.adobe.com/privacy from your browser (phone, tablet, etc) you should be able to find it as the second option. I just double checked on all my devices and it’s there!

      @@GinnyStLawrence just tried, nothing.
      I should mention it is a student account, using my student email. Maybe that’s why?

      Same. I see content analysis, but not creative analysis with ai.

    Hi, can people opt out of AI use if they don't have Adobe account? I just use it to view pdf, without logging in, and can't find the privacy settings. Or is data not being collected if you're not logged?

    • @GinnyStLawrence
      @GinnyStLawrence  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Great question, I don’t believe this applies if you are not logged in, especially for something like Acrobatic, their PDF editor/viewer. Hope this helps!

    I’m so sick of these companies! It’s exhausting staying ahead. Even if we opt out I doubt they will honor this. How will we know…

      I know. It’s such a shame. Unfortunately, we won’t :/

    I wouldn't trust their opt out personally. When the business model is stealing, they can't be trusted imo.

      Great point. I do question it, especially with all the litigation now going on with them.

    Do they not realise how stupid it is to use the art of their users - IE the people who pay them to use their product - to train a bot that will then make that art for them? They are literally working on a bot that will reduce the amount of people using and paying for their product...

    • @GinnyStLawrence
      @GinnyStLawrence  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly. Adobe is nonsensical in more ways than one. It sucks because I love their products.
