@@040ryno okay! So from the top most glass. Go 2 blocks out, and 1 down. Build another line of glass there front & back. Then connect the ends of the new lines staying 1 block away from the ends of the original ones. But instead of a perfect rectangle, on the back corners that are short: stay 1 block away from the ends of the back glass, but connect them 1 block behind the redstone line. Then for good measure u can also add another new line of glass in the center, 1 block above the original glass lines, or maybe aligned with the glass lines. But i don't think they should be able to escape towsrd the middle because they should get captured again. Hope all that makes sense XD If not, you can join my discord and I'll post a picture haha

@@calomango6985 No, the speeds are the same. What's different is that bedrock's computations activate all dust (or components) at the exact same time (if they activate simultaneously) But java computes 1 dust at a time. It's like series vs parallel wiring in a way. Java computes in series, 1 dust at a time, but bedrock computes groupings all at once. So as an example activating 10 dust with a lever to turn on a lamp, both activate the lamp "instantly". But java goes: lever, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, lamp. Bedrock goes: Lever ,1-10, lamp. That's one reason bedrock is less picky about timings, but can obtain different results with simultaneous things. Where as java is super picky about timings, but always receives the same result. Which is also why java tends to require more delay in between activations for it to work. (Depending on what you're trying to build of course) Hope that made sense!!! Right!!! My excitement quickly turned to despair.. It's like the most complex block in the entire game -.- There have even been countless mods that added autocrafting. & all of them were nice and simple to use...... So sad so sad.

Hmmmmmm let's see.... Are you using non-stackable item filters to pull items out to send to lava, or is the lava just at the end of the sorter system? I would def use a non-stackable filter to destroy the trash. But, either way it shouldn't skip that many items! It should basically only skip 1 item if you load/unload the area while that item is in the line. So, if it's skipping more than that I would guess......... Are you using repeaters in your item sorters? Repeaters are too slow to keep up with item sorters and will skip tons of items. If not repeaters; is your item sorters directly attached to the hoppers that are picking up the drops, or being double loaded by multiple hoppers or something? Item sorters generally need a buffer of like 1 hopper between the main input and the input line to bottleneck the item flow, if that makes sense. So that there is only ever 1 item above the item sorters. As an example if there are 2 bones in the hopper above the filter hopper, 1 bone will go into the filter and 1 will pass it by. If not any of that, it could be lag.... Allot of times for laggy stuff I will have multiple item filters for each item. So like 2x bones 2x arrows, then 2x non-stackable filters going into lava, then the output chest to catch any rollover. But at that point there is usually not any rollover unless I leave the area while it's running. Hope that all makes sense!!! lmk if it helps, or doesn't & we'll figure something else out!

@@OmLedu hi again, so yh, I have tested it out in creative so have yet to test in my survival world, but my set up was having the hopper sorter start with the receiver hopper (mob items fall into that hopper when killed and that hopper then goes down or across) and I figured out its that. so I need to find a way to make my skeleton farm 1 block taller to account for the extra hopper...may be impossible to do since the skeleton spawner itself is only like 7 blocks above bedrock haha.. I'll try it and see if I can get it to work in survival, thanks

@@BenRees-y1q anytime! Can you push the item sorters over by 1 block instead? Or if: above the 1st item sorter put a chest, or point the hopper not down. That should also bottleneck the items, if there is space for it.

@@jhhhhy38 It works for some, doesn't work for others. 0 ticking is especially subject to locationality :< If you do build more in the same chunk, have them all controlled by the same clock. That seems to really help the success rate! Some people even have success crossing chunk borders building it really long!! Locationality is: getting a different result based on location. Some places 0 tick just doesnt work. Other places it works but breaks over time. While others still will never break lmaoao Avoiding laggy areas also seems to help in my experience. But ive even had long versions work perfectly fine next to other laggy farms. So it's really hard to predict locationality -.-

@@jhhhhy38 That's a good sign!!! Hopefully they all just work >:D Luckily they are fairly simple so even if they don't it's not the end of the world. But definitely try to have them all share the same clock. And even try out crossing chunk borders! I have a friend who built one that's like 50 blocks long & it works just fine lmao Where as some people barely cross over the border and it implodes XD lmao If the current one works just fine, that's a good sign!!! & even if adding new ones or changing it ends up breaking it. It should go back to normal when you take the new stuff away ;] Good luck either way!!!! Are you using it for fuel to smelt them gold swordz? >:D

@OmLedu no, the swords are sorted out and go into the lava. the farm gives me 3200 ingots and 32k nuggets an hour so i dont have to melt them 😆 but im using alot on my supersmelter

I totally agree!!! I was honestly very upset when I learned how it worked. It is very very very needlessly complex and jank. I love all the new possibilities it brings, but it is insane what you have to build just to do simple things.... Like at the end of the video I show an afk rocket farm, & it's just crazy lolol I tried to design it as compact yet straightforward as I possible could, but it still ended up being huge and crazy -.- Def great for gold farms though since getting gold ingots is super annoying XDD

yeah, gotta jump & throw to pass lol But still not great X] So the way I play it is, the player with the ball can't punch but everyone else can. no armor. So if you hold the ball too long you die. Gotta either take a shot or "pass" it before you lose all your hearts. Ends up being fairly interesting with teams of 2 or 3. 1v1s can also be interesting, but not as chaotic

If you want more than 9 disks lmk & I'll figure something out! If the torch does come back on, but doesn't load a disc, increase the delay on the repeater by poking it a couple times.

@@DavidBroome1978 If you mean overflow as in the very last chest; if you load and unload the area while items are going through, there is a chance that an item or 2 will skip their corresponding sorter. Or if individual chests fill up and overflow they'll need a place to go. & if people wanted to build a smaller storage just wanted to have an example. Or if you mean overflow protection. Tbh i never use it!! I always use the smaller non overflow protected & just make sure to condense stuff down into shulkers as I collect. But again just wanted to have an example, since there are different strokes for different folks :DD Or! If you meant something else entirely that went right over my head, just lmk! :D I'm always curious what people think or what questions they pose <3

@@Nick-c7t Nope! Can build it wherever. But above an ocean does improves the rates ever so slightly. Basically because there are less blocks for the game to check for spawns.

Like I knew a few components, buuut couldn't wrap my mind around how to use them to accomplish my goal. Started trying to think about my goal differently, like I want this door to stay open if i press this button. Soooo i need to change the button from a pulse to an on. Okay done!... But now i need a way to turn the on into an off... It started becoming easier to think in redstone terms the more I learned and practiced. Now as for pistons, I still struggle with complex chains XD If it's just a piston extender, or a handful of pistons that's okay! But once it becomes more and more complex, it takes me forrrever to figure out XD Like those 3+ x 3+ vault doors are crazy lolol every time i go to design one I end up just getting distracted & doing something else X]]]

@@jhhhhy38 short answer: max size is about 8 layers up, & 4x of the farm. 1 in each direction, 23 or 24 blocks from the afk spot. Long answer: The reason I say 'about' 8 layers is, I can't remember the exact curvature of the spawning radius. Mobs spawn 24-44 away from the player, but in a circular area not a square. If you want me to figure out the curvature for exact max expansion, lmk & I will. However at a 4 layer farm it was hitting the hostile mob cap & creeper cap with very few pauses between caps. That means 8 layers should basically keep it at max density. So the gain provided from having more than 8 would be negligible, especially if you build multiple farms in the area. The biggest increase it spawns would come from breaking up mob density. When a spawn is triggered the game checks 4 chunks in each direction from the chunk that has the spawn, for mob density. With the kill chambers being 65 blocks apart (depending on where chunk borders are) the back half of each farm should ignore the kill chamber & back half of the opposite farm. Creeper cap is 5, with 1 4 layer farm there seemed to always be 2-4 spawned. So at 4x 8 layer farms I would estimate an approximate gain of 2 creepers for each. So 4x of the farm should gain somewhere around 3x the gp. (Just estimates, I havn't tested the super max size) just going off of the mechanics & the math with the 4 layer single farm as data lolol

@@OmLedu does the afk spot need to be the middle of all 4 farms or from the stoeage system?

@@jhhhhy38 Middle of all 4 farms. Where the kill chamber tube is. One of those 2 center blocks. So when ur on the afk spot, you'll be on the center of all 4 farms. But really, even if you're off by a bit it will be okay. Especially with 4x 8 layers. If you afk too far in 1 direction, the spawn area lost will be gained somwhere else. As long as you are with 44 blocks of the backs of all 4 kill chambers. & the reason I suggest the afk platform to be roughly aligned with the 2nd layer is to have a good amount of wiggle room, being 44 blocks from the back of each kill chamber. So if you want to wander around and do other stuff up there, none of the mobs will despawn as you move about. Technically you could go higher with more layers, if you build the afk spot slightly higher to be perfectly aligned with the despawning range. Problem though goes back to, idk the exact curvature of the spawning circle off the top of my head haha. Even then, the rates would only increase by a couple %, But would require much more work, more counting & precision, & would absolutely force being on the afk spot, nowhere else. If anything was off by even a block the 2% gain would turn into like a 25% loss

Hope my ramblings arn't too annoying X] Tried to have a simple flexible answer, then a more precise detailed response after that. I always build flexible designs, cause for me the 2-5% gain isn't worth not being able to wander around freely, do other things while I wait, build other farms nearby, etcetc. But! If you do want a non-flexible min-max version to gain those couple of %, hopefully that info will help!
