    IMPORTANT for JAVA!
    If on java you need to add another line of dust diagonally down from the bottom row of dust on the output. (new dust line behind the block next to the bottom repeaters) That new dust line is where the strength of 1 should start.
    This is because, in java the dust is being redirected into the block by the dust diagonally above it. So rather than the dust on top of the block powering the repeaters, the dust BEHIND the block is powering the repeaters.
    You also NEED to change the top repeater delay to max to fully separate the signals.
    Bedrock players, ignore all of this & carry on!

      I remember redstone was super confusing at first. So I try to lay it out how I would have wanted it to be explained.

    Because of you I was able to build a password protected secret room that collects incorrect items with auto droppers and clocks that only turn on when the dropper has an item.
    However, there was one instance where the auto dropper only worked with a target block in a 2x3 area, and I’m not really sure what target blocks really do lol.
    Are you able to make a video on target blocks and how they transmit signals and their uses? I’ve seen some redstoners like mumbojumbo use them a lot.
    Or are they not worth making a whole video on?
    Btw thank you so much. You’ve unlocked a whole new world for me on Minecraft bedrock

    • @OmLedu
      @OmLedu  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Oooooo that sounds super fancy!!! Always happy to help. Your secret rooms sounds epic :D
      Target block's main use is to redirect redstone. So like if you have a line of dust, but want to power something next to that line; you can place a target next to that line & the dust will magically point into the target block.
      Mainly it's just for condensing redstone or running things in awkward places. But there is also, that it will emit a redstone signal whenever it is hit by an arrow or snowball, either from a player or from a dispenser. So like if you need to run redstone across a gap, but can't use skulk sensors, you coould use a dispenser shooting arrows or snowballs at a target haha.
      I'll try to go over them & pistons (in bedrock, pistons work in a similar way to targets) in the next lets learn rs video! I do have a short where I talked about targets, but i basically said what I just wrote XD
      Hope that helps! Thanks for sharing, for the question, & for being awesome :DD
      Redstone really can open up a whole new world to explore

    • @Anxiety._.
      @Anxiety._. 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@OmLedu that makes lots of sense. I guess in the limited space that I had, the target block was perfect for redirecting the signal 🤔
      And yeah I’ve noticed that pistons tend to grab signal when I don’t want them to sometimes😭
      Thanks a lot for your reply and keep up the awesome work! :)

      @@Anxiety._. Anytime!!! I will try my bestest :3
      Yeah haha pistons redirecting in bedrock can be annoying, but it allows for some crazy stuff!! Pistons are transparent blocks so even though redstone redirects to them, it doesn't power adjacent components & won't pinch the redstone either. But!!! It can still toggle a torch placed on the piston 🤯🤯🤯
      That is insanely useful in some otherwise impossible situations :o

    Lever seem like a great way to debug/troubleshoot redstone
    Do you know if bedrock has a texture pack for redstone that shows signal strength and maybe even weak and strong power?

      @@KelvinWarren-eh9jp That's a good question! I would assume there is. I thiiiink I've seen ones that show signal strength.. that might need to be an add on though rather than a texture pack.... hmmm

      There might be a texture >.> I'm not just sure how that would work per say.. strength might be a texture.... since dust has different light level based on strength... but strong and weak power is def not a texture, so i'd assume you'd need a mod that like does something to a block when it has strong/ weak power.

    hey and there was a game called connect 4 and i found 2 versions of it the first version was with gravel and sand and the second version was with command blocks and is there a way to make the connect 4 version that uses command blocks better?

    • @OmLedu
      @OmLedu  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Probably!! I love connect 4! Always wanted to figure out a good version. For cmd blocks i would have them /setblock color_concrete at the top of each row connected to a corresponding button. Then another cmd to /fill air the inside of the game to reset.
      Hope that helps!! I'll try to make a version of it in the near future for both cmd blocks and survival :D

    Would comparator not be better,

    • @OmLedu
      @OmLedu  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For the extending section? Yes generally if you have a ton of inputs. It does end up being cheaper than using repeaters. But it also ends up causing more of a delay. So for less than like 7 inputs ill generally still use repeaters to speed it up a bit :D
      Or for the inputs, you can use comparators IF the inputs are all right next to each other. If they aren't or if they are farther away, the line of repeaters will force them to have sequential strength and extend them further.
