Im learning so much from this channel. I didnt know tamed mobs stop spawns. Makes sense why I havent seen a single passive mob on my base in a long time. Im gonna try this out today. Ill use the uncooked meat to trade with the butcher. Have a good day Om
Glad I can help :DD I never thought about butcher trades! Good idea! MOB Caps control how many of each type of mob can spawn. Some Caps are individual, like creepers. While others, like most land animals, are groupings of different mobs. Basically if the cap # is reached for any category, it will no longer spawn those type of mobs in that area. & hope you have a good day as well!! And an awesome week to follow! :D

I think i'll try to make that rocket farm soon though, sounds like a good idea! I'm gonna ramble for a bit, hope you find it interesting XD I've also wanted some way to mention that not only are most creeper only farms broken atm. But they are also kinda clickbaity... because every creeper only farm I've even seen actually gives less gunpowder, is more work, & more expensive than a good regular mob farm :o Like for creeper only, generally you have to wait for them to fall off on their own, especially now that mobs don't spawn on the corner of a block anymore. Where as scaffolding mob farms spawn mobs directly into water canals, & have more spawnable area. & since creepers have their own mob cap, basically the same number of them will spawn regardless. Just havn't been too sure about what videos to make to mention those things XD But for a rocket farm, id make a simple expandable mob farm & just filter the gp over to the autocrafting section :DDD def a great idea for a video! I'll do that asap :D

@@SIVR-Sprimkles-Icing Also most creeper only are half broken atm, because 1.21 changed something about how spiders spawn.. idk full details, but it's harder (or maybe impossible) to spawn proof agaisnt spiders without blocking the creepers as well. Idk the details, but I've heard tons of ppl complaining about it lol But if you want godly amounts of gunpowder, for like tnt. I would highly recomend a simple ghast farm. Been meaning to tutorial one.. Even simple ones give tons of gp & if you have invisibly pots they really are easy to build. For all other gp needs I build a scaffolding mob farm at my base or wherever I'm gonna be hanging out. Even just using fall damage, no looting, it gives me enough gunpowder to waste as many rockets as I want X] But anywhoo, I'll stop rambling now X]]] tysm for the support & kind words. I'm planning on getting the rocket farm done asap :D
that was interesting and is there a way to build a multi-layered smelting system that uses furnaces blast furnaces and smokers with an item sorting system
Unfortunately I don't believe so. Since furnaces allow any item to go inside, you'd end up with ore in the smoker and meat in the blast. & since they can't smelt those it would just sit there -.- Plus, the special furnaces just smelt at double speed, but also burn fuel at double speed. So even making an item sorter for it would only make smelting faster, not more efficient on fuel or anything. (& it being double speed might even be too fast for the item sorters causing it to waste more fuel than a regular furnace) For something like this passive mob farm I might make an item sorter for all non-food items, then funnel the rest into a smoker. But personally, I would just build a smoker or a furnace + hopper & chest. And just dump the food in occasionally. Mainly because an item sorter for either all the meats, or for leather, feathers, brown black white pink wool & whatever else, would be expensive for what I'm getting out of it. I do use the special furnaces for 1 thing always though. & that is a gold farm. 1-2 blast furnaces can smelt the swords fast enough to keep up with any type of gold farm. & the swords end up totalling 10-20% of your total gold o.o so I always always always recommend smelting them :D Oh and smokers for a 0 tick kelp farm, since it poops out kelp so quickly :D
@@ConcertVidz17 Savanna is going to have a low spawn rate for passive mobs compared to plains, but looks like sheep chicken pig cow horse llama and donkey can spawn there. If there is nothing spawning what so ever even after a while, double check that you are afking 24 blocks from the closest wall. That there is nowhere else within 50 blocks of you that mobs can spawn. That the spawning platforms have access to the sky & are made out of grass. & that there are no tamed, bred, or named animals within around 100 of you.
Tbh I had already edited half of the video by the time you showed that to me XD That's prolly what I'll tell ppl to build though, who are interested in adding a trident :3
@@sweetsugar6160 I like to build it at a sky farm with other farms. Afking it by itself seems sad. In a plains it will give u a decent chunk of stuff every hour. But i try to build it in a place with like a river. So it's more like im afking ink, gold, iron, mobs, etc but i'm also getting food leather wool & feathers lolol Building it in a mooshroom island gives you nothing but steak, so that's kinda neat as well haha
@@jeff6451 Sad days! To recap spawning requirements: Distance, Mobs will spawn 24-44 blocks away from the player. Mob cap, Animals won't spawn if animals are loaded. Type/biom, The biom determines what can spawn. Ie no animals over river/ ocean. Cows sheep pigs horses over plains, but only on grass blocks. Etc Access to sky, The blocks animals can spawn on need access to the sky. Light, Animals will only spawn at light levels 8 and above. Time, Animals/ Mobs don't always instantly spawn. Every x ticks they have a chance of spawning depending on factors such as biom, spawnable area, and several other criteria.
