This innovative layout of the entire series is a useful resource for all Ashtanga Yoga practitioners, each posture has detailed information superimposed over the physical practice, including Sanskrit name and count, gaze points and modifications. Hi Jason, thanks for your video. I would like to ask when we breath in ashtanga asana, with using banda. Do I engage my abdomen (partly or fully) in inhaling? I am confused at the moment because there is some information online saying that we should keep our abdomen soft during practice otherwise would affect the shape of our spine (tend to be straight instead of natural curve of the spine). During my current practice, I engage my core (probably 85%) and breath mainly by my lungs? But I feel like my abdomen was not soft at all during practice. I hope to get some clarification from you in regards to how to breath and engage banda in Ashtanga practice. Thanks in advance.

I have tried so many times to complete the series by simply diving right in. And of course, frustration meant that I would give up after an attempt and go back to my regular practice. This has made me so happy!!! Can't wait to complete this!
