Love your heart for Jesus. But I am saddened that the Catholic Church removed the second commandment (exodus 20:4-6) and split the tenth commandment into two in order to appear to still follow the ‘ten’ commandments, even though they are really following only nine.

This is great! I love this little update. Currently only on 1 toddler but this helps me set the tone with her. I agree with the yelling. We are cutting back. So hard when toddlers like to do dangerous things.

Just food for thought. We are created from the dust of the earth, meaning everything that goes in or on our bodies must come from the earth as it is created. Either directly from the earth or via animals who also obtain their nutrients from the earth. Foods today are full of chemicals and toxins that not only, do not provide nutrition, but are chemically manipulating our bodies. Neuro toxic and hormone disrupting chemicals negatively affect not only how we think but cause many gender confusion and feminine characteristics in males. Soy for example is in nearly everything. Not only is the vast majority of it GMO, but it is also an estrogen mimicker. Most baby formulas are comprised of this soy which is then heated in plastic bottles that for many years, contained BPA, another hormone disrupter. I believe these types of products are largely contributing to gender confusion, especially in children and young adults, which is then influenced by media.

As a 20 veteran of homemaking, I still find it to be a struggle to value what I do as much as say, the romanticized idea of owning a tea room or tea and spice shop. I must frequently remind myself that what I do at home deserves just as much passion and focus as what the world thinks I should be doing and count as worthy.

my kids are pretty much grown (21 & 17) so much of this doesn't apply LOL. One thing I wish I had done differently is pulling them out of public school earlier. But other things - LESS toys & clothes. Like I mean WAY less & i hardly ever bought them. i had cousins who passed down everything to my kids. But it was so much to 'manage' - like hours of picking up, cleaning, sorting, etc....hours that I could have had to do more important things. I am watching a young friend of mine repeat this behavior. Her son just has way too much stuff & he doesn't stay satisfied playing with any of it! I also wish that I had had the money for them to have less toys, but better quality toys. no to the sippy cups or any plastic dishes. I actually did not let my kids run around with any food or drink. They were put on a regular cup with a handle when in high chair age. If they wanted a drink, they had to have it sitting at the kitchen table. No snacks anywhere but seated at the table. That was how I was raised - it removes the choking concern, no mess on your furniture, no spills to slip on & teaches really good fine motor skills at a young age. My kids were using silverware independently by about 9 mos. old. I was really strict on table manners & it shows. they act like ladies when invited out & people always comment on their fine manners & courtesy. This has helped them in their young adult life, not embarrass themselves. We don't watch tv or listen to the radio anymore - I found that all the ads gave my kids a healthy dose of the 'gimmes'. I let them watch more tv than I probably should have when they were little & if I could go back it would probably be zero. One thing we were strict on, as well, was monitoring WHO was around & what kind of example they showed our kids. We even cut out biological family members if they were abusive or undermined us as the parents or set a very immoral example. So I always had supportive people who had our kids' best interests in mind & people that I felt were safe adults.

Kelsey, I just love your videos. Keep speaking the truth, the fullness of the Catholic faith is such a gift. We are learning this very thing in our Walking With Purpose Bible study. Keep preaching it , sister!

Always always always love the passages about the young rich ruler. That is the reason why I became a minimalist because I was so convicted by how much hold I allowed my stuff to have on me and how I felt it kept me away from a closer relationship to God. I have not heard of any Christian saying that we don't have to obey the 10 Commandments. That is awful to think that they are no longer important. That doesn't even make sense to me. I love what you said about the "love of neighbor" which is so very important.

Hi, Kelsey!🥰 I can't imagine believing in God /Jesus and thinking about abolishing the 10 commandments. The Word of God is unchangeable, as He Is, like it says in Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” And in 2 Peter 1:20,21 says that "Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." So, the word of God is as active and true today, as it was in the past. All of it! That bread (all of them) look delicious and those sandwiches must be so good!🤤 Have a blessed week!❤

Respectfully, you're wrong. The idea of the old testament being broken up like that is not supported by scripture. You will not find a single verse witnessing a "moral law", for instance. Nowhere. It's a man made idea. Even Paul kept torah after the death, burial, and resurrection, or at least all parts he could. Jesus did too. Not a single verse will represent this theory that God created a moral law separate from anything else in the torah. No separation or intention of this is ever present.
