Thank you for talking some sense back into me. This is exactly where I've been stuck lately and exactly the reminder I needed. I used to know and do these things and through some difficult times I lost my way. I'm trying to get back there and the guilt of the current state of things has me so weighed down (along with being massively pregnant lol). I really appreciate you putting these sorts of videos out as I don't have any females in my life to consult and confide in and receive everyday wisdom from.
Yikes! Do you have a camera in my house? You just described my life exactly! It is so hard to balance motherhood with homeschooling and homemaking. I too am so guilty of thinking if we had a bigger house or things were more organized or if I found the perfect schedule for schooling or keeping up cooking from scratch in the kitchen I would finally be happy. But that's just not the case. Thank you for the reminder to stay off my phone and just focus on the task ahead. ❤
Wow this was really impactful! Ive watcged plenty of motherhood and house management typr videos but this one hit home. I love your point about the to do list never actually ending and just doing the things one by one faithfully and well. Because ultimatly getting the things all done won't bring lasting fulfillment. Obey God and knowing we are doing our best by his grace to do so will.
One piece of advice I heard (and sorry I don't remember the source) was "just do the next right thing" it's helped me immensely. This is a much needed and beautiful video! And we homemakers can't hear it too much. Thank you!
I just realized you and I have the same drain board. Yey! I don't really get overwhelmed with the things to do around my home, but that sounds difficult to go through. The creamed corn with chicken you made at the end of this video looked really good. I've never made that before and think I'll have to give a try after seeing how you did it.
Sounds like we are all in the same boat. Love the stove! Also, we started making cheese and I ended up using the whey to replace the milk in Soda Bread. It was the largest soda bread I've ever seen in my life...I may have added some sourdough discard to it too.
I agree with you 100% … I hate the idea of the ( to do list ) it just make us overstimulate and overthink in my opinion, also the multitasking can destroy the brain , No Joke
Good morning Kelsey, so glad you are home. Have been praying for you and your husband for a safe trip. Trust your children and your dog enjoyed their aunts’ company at home.😂 Thank you for your video. Very encouraging indeed. I bought a cast iron skillet (Lodge), the brand you mentioned. I seasoned it with the cooking oil. It was very sticky when I cooked the pancakes. You cooked the pancakes in the cast iron pan as well, right? Your pancakes looked great! Would you please make a video about how to care for/cook with the cast iron pans? I know you had a video before. Or just give us some advice when you share your recipes with us in the future videos. Thank you so much. Wishing you and your family a very blessed Thanksgiving weekend 🎉❤
❤Thanks so much for always sharing great content! Question - is your stove an original or a beautiful reproduction? You have been gifted with many talents, thanks also for sharing them 😊
Thank you for the video. What time are you going to bed? I don’t want to discourage you but getting up at 4:30am would be really early for me as well…If I don’t get enough sleep I can’t function normally at all, unless God supernaturally helps me… but maybe that’s because for a long time, I had issues with my health…

Can we get the link for the yogurt insert kit?
Yes sorry! This is the one I have amzn.to/49aG6KJ but they have another with a white lid instead of black amzn.to/4g0eTww
I have that same one. I got it on Amazon. Cuisine Greek Yogurt Maker is the name. It works great!!
