Love this and love the message! As a convert from Protestantism, it is so lovely to see a fellow Catholic live out her faith so beautifully! ❤

    Hi, Kelsey!🥰
I can't imagine believing in God /Jesus and thinking about abolishing the 10 commandments. The Word of God is unchangeable, as He Is, like it says in Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
And in 2 Peter 1:20,21 says that "Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."
So, the word of God is as active and true today, as it was in the past. All of it!
That bread (all of them) look delicious and those sandwiches must be so good!🤤
    Have a blessed week!❤

"Which comes first love or keeping the commandments...the one who does not love has no use for keeping the commandments." This is sooooo rich in truth. Also... those sandwiches look delicious! Numbers 6:24-26 to you and your family.

Kelsey, I just love your videos. Keep speaking the truth, the fullness of the Catholic faith is such a gift. We are learning this very thing in our Walking With Purpose Bible study. Keep preaching it , sister!

Always always always love the passages about the young rich ruler. That is the reason why I became a minimalist because I was so convicted by how much hold I allowed my stuff to have on me and how I felt it kept me away from a closer relationship to God.
I have not heard of any Christian saying that we don't have to obey the 10 Commandments. That is awful to think that they are no longer important. That doesn't even make sense to me.
I love what you said about the "love of neighbor" which is so very important.

God just used you to ENCOURAGE me❤ thankyou for letting him use you. I was just sitting here thinking about eternity...hell, heaven, how undeserving Iam. And then I clicked on this video. Iam a flawed daughter of the KING! And I will not get it right everyday. Thankyou for reminding us of the commands. There truly is freedom in obedience ❤😊

Thank you for another beautiful video & thank you for sharing Truth! It is TRUE, Jesus certainly never abolished the Ten Commandments, He actually added TO them with The Beatitudes. Further, Jesus said to be perfect, as our Father in heaven is perfect. We should all be striving for the perfection of sainthood 🙏 ❤

Love your heart for Jesus. But I am saddened that the Catholic Church removed the second commandment (exodus 20:4-6) and split the tenth commandment into two in order to appear to still follow the ‘ten’ commandments, even though they are really following only nine.

    • @faithfulacresfarmhouse

It’s not removed. The covenant contents are the same, but numbered differently. Protestants use the numbering system by Origen and the Catholic by Augustine. So what you consider the 2nd commandment is part of our 1st commandment.

I respect all that you do, I absolutely adore your channel and its encouraging to us ladies and much needed in this day and age. I would definitely encourage you to look into the history of the Roman Catholic faith unbiasedly if you havent already, its origins many doctrines and beliefs that are actually very contrary to the gospel and the word of God. John 3 and Acts 2...the Popes take away from God's word and also add to what should not be. There is no such thing as Holy Father upon this earth for we have but one Holy Father our Father in Heaven and only His name is to be hallowed only. The hardest thing for us to do is break from wrong traditions and beliefs, it was extremely hard for me, but thats what the Holy Spirit of Truth does. The reason why Jesus said Peter was the rock and who he would build his church upon was not how the Pope/church has taught. Peter and the revelation the Father gave him of who Jesus was and his plan of salvation which is laid out in Acts chapter 2 (since he was the one who preached it he was given the keys to the kingdom), belief repentance, water baptism and then the promise of His Holy Spirit that would then make us ALL sons and daughter's/priests and kings of the living God and he would abide in and with us, He has made us his witnesses And lights to the nations, isaiah 61, is not only Christ's mission but ours. HE is the great shepherd And according to hebrews we can now come boldly before the throne of grace through Him and him alone, We do not need to go through a confessional booth/priest to be forgiven by another man unless we are asking for forgiveness to the one personally we hurt. There is so much to it, But I know that we each believe how we believe or have been taught. I just felt led to share these truths with you as I have studied this in my own in my search and coming to the Lord in Truth finally 8 years ago. I hope this doesn't offend but I am aware the word of God says that sometimes the Gosepl does offend, however it is the Power of God (Holy Spirit) unto salvation for all who believe/obey/trust in Jesus.

Respectfully, you're wrong. The idea of the old testament being broken up like that is not supported by scripture. You will not find a single verse witnessing a "moral law", for instance. Nowhere. It's a man made idea. Even Paul kept torah after the death, burial, and resurrection, or at least all parts he could. Jesus did too.
Not a single verse will represent this theory that God created a moral law separate from anything else in the torah. No separation or intention of this is ever present.

    • @faithfulacresfarmhouse
      @faithfulacresfarmhouse  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

It is not broken up distinctly, but we can come to that conclusion. Even Jews currently believe that “Gentiles” must follow the 10 Commandments (moral law) and don’t have to follow the rest. Both Catholics and majority of Protestants agree with this. I would look deeper into it.
