Thank you so much for your prayerful and encouraging videos, Kelsey! They are so timely and inspiring! I also really enjoy seeing you bake/cook, and household tasks. You’re a blessing!
Thank you again Kelsey for the encouragement and related Scripture. I love summer but I do find myself feeling pulled between the outside jobs and the inside jobs. Can’t be in both places at the same time! I guess we have to pray and ask God which tasks should be our priority for each day. My husband is good to remind me to enjoy the yard and to enjoy the season rather than feel burdened by tasks still not completed. We don’t want to miss Him in creation because of our increased summer workload.
I needed this today. Thank you my sister for the encouragement. I work full time, am active at church and a grandmother to 6 children who all live nearby - and I am caregiver for my husband of 40 years who has suffered for 4 years with treatment resistant depression and anxiety. Some days are hard, but the Lord is my strength. I couldn't walk this path without the Lord, the Word and my brothers and sisters in Christ. Be blessed dear one in all you do. 💖
I believe in "no coincidences". Everything happens for a reason. ❤ And this notification feed popped up. Thank you for this video. I've had times like this... feeling burnt out. Thanks be to God, He gives me the grace to resolve to prayer and not despair. Blessed be God!!!
Hi ,just came across your channel . Thanks for the encouragement , sometimes we know but we need to be reminded , YAH bless u and your household . You have a beautiful home and good job around the yard , love the look . The LORD has been so faithful and so so good to me , k do find myself in a place right know that is foreign to me and i'm alone in terms of church home or friends that are believers to give me encouragement . After two grown kids in their twenties the LORD has blessed me qithbmy rainbow baby whom i promised to homeschool and raise up for the LORD before he was even conceived . He's two now and waaawwwwwwwww i'm not sure if its cuz i'm older or he is just from a dif . Generation but wawwwwwwwww it ruff sometimes and i know my flesh string right now ,i've been trying to strengthen my spirit and reconnect to the LORD on the level i use to be but its so hard . I know that i need to be in his word its where i find strength its where i am reminded of his character but i can't even find the time to study as i wud like . I know i will get there and i appreciate u and your encouragement , love from Trinidad and Tobago ❤ P.S that is one beautiful rainbow . The LORD often used the rainbow as a sign to me in moments of weakness and uncertainty ,it means alot to me as well as his promise .
Loved seeing you work on the sitting area/garden on the side of your home. I think it is so important that we listen to ourselves and our reactions to things in our daily lives. I love how you said that God will be our strength through it when we think of Him. Good ideas about the breathing. Also praying through it can work wonders. I have found myself frustrated in the past, pray that God eases me, and it helps.
Great job on moving the rock. You certainly have a lot of tasks to do daily, but you keep up the spirit of servant hood and I really admire you for that. It is so easy for us to be resentful when we are expected to do so much, but if we are doing it to the glory of God, it makes it so purposeful!
Please remember to be good to yourself and take care of yourself. It is not selfish to do something good for yourself and fill up your tank. You are a good steward, and if you do not take care of yourself, it makes it difficult to take care of others. I had and still have a hard time being kind and doing something special for myself because I was brought up being taught it was selfish to think of self. Birthday celebrations were definitely selfish. So I have burnt out so many times caring for everyone but myself. God will take care of me, but I must be good to myself as well. I am worth a bubble bath, a new pair of shoes or a dress. Thank you for all you do. You are inspiring to me!
Making your bread right now and realized you didn't mention the temperature. I am going to do 350 degrees Fahrenheit for the amount of time you mentioned in recipe. Can't wait to taste!
@faithfulacresfarmhouse it did! I doubled the recipe and baked at 350 for 20 mins in my pullman loaf pan took the top off and cooked another 10 mins! Pulled out and it was 180 internal temp and came out clean so good enough for me! Hahaha. It Came out soooo soft and fluffy! With such a lovely crust! I also buttered my bread while it cooled. I just personally love to do that. This recipe was lovely, so great job! I kneaded by hand. I do have a question though. Have you ever just added the ingredients in the one bowl instead of the 2 bowls?
"Hey kids....Grab a shovel!" LOL Been feelin' the 'Burn' myself, lately. Lots of interpersonal struggles going on on our homestead & the farm we partner with (my in laws). People have disappeared from the lineup roster & work is not getting done, getting done improperly, attn not paid to the most important priorities, squabbles, resentments, etc....there have been major equipment failures on BOTH farms, leaving us scrambling for available tractors, death of livestock, and frayed nerves... I have a stove that won't stay lit, a fridge that is freezing every blasted thing, a microwave that runs when the door is OPENED & a washer that keeps fritzing (ALL brand new appliances) .I have been movin' it every morning from 5:45 til 9:30 or later. I am NOT young anymore! I went out to our barn last weekend & 'something' was wrong with one of the hogs we raise for sale. It could not hardly get up, staggered around like it was drunk/sick, etc...long story short, the pig is OK, after we separated it. it must have gotten stepped on or bullied around by the larger ones & could not get to the water, so was dehydrated. I literally wanted to throw myself on the barn floor & roll around in the dust, sobbing. (But I didn't LOL.) The dejection & breaking point hit hard!!! & then I realized, I have been paying attn to energy sucking things & I need to re-focus on my own priorities. good lesson! My husband has a saying, "God will do whatever it takes to get your attention". Today I forced myself to do all the paperwork, school reporting for homeschooling, phone calls, appt scheduling & women's group planning that I have been putting off - because we have had NO rain in CNY & I kept avoiding these tasks to work outside! The dread of doing these tasks was looming, sucking the energy out of my day due to the fact that my brain kept going back to the need for doing them. I also need to do a bit of "Loving My Enemy", which would kill some of the interpersonal struggles going on. Bishop Baron's sermon on this topic set me straight today.
Praying for you 🙏 that is a lot. I also love what your husband says! So true! You have a lot going on, definitely give yourself grace. You are doing amazing things.
Beautiful video and so necessary for all to hear.

Good morning from West Texas.

Oh goodness sorry 🙈. Both are 425. I'm sure 350 would work fine. Hopefully it turned out still!
