Amen. When I listen to your videos while homemaking, I feel the Spirit of the Lord confirming that I am fulfilling HIS will and I feel joy in doing it, without any resentment toward my family.
Thank you for this video, I'm in my mid 40s and I was told to be out working and for 20 years I was miserable. Now, I'm home raising my girls, making a simple life and finally I found my calling, it was an chronic health problem that bring me home, thank God for it, my body and mind are sick, but my soul is not😊 (sorry for the bad English)
@@purseypurslane 😆 sorry… she made a quick mention of whether or not she thought she “should” even be on TH-cam. And as all of us agree I’m sure… of course she should! Kelsey’s is the best channel in my opinion! Hope this clarifies my comment.
I love this video. I feel like the highest calling for us as women, is to be mothers . And we need to be "stay at home" mom's , if possible. Not chasing the "all mighty dollar" and trying to keep up with the Jone's... God is the One who has given us our precious children, and it is our calling to nurture and teach them about Jesus ....We cannot do that when we have been working out in the public all day. This is not intended at all .to be judgmental , because I know that there are women out there that desire to stay at home with their children but can't. But I also know plenty of women who, when they asked God to make a way for them to stay at home, HE did it....God bless you and your dear family....Much love and prayers....Sherri-Idaho
Thank you for showing the parts of your home that are not perfect. My home is under construction and sometimes I feel very defeated and deflated feeling like it's never going to be done. I do pray and thank God for all that he has provided for me and I am grateful for my home even when it is in disarray. However, being human, I can look at people's homes that are absolutely beautiful and be so envious. I don't like that about myself, but it does help when I see other people's homes that are not perfect, even if there's just areas of their homes that are not perfect and know that they are grateful that God has given them those areas as well. I pray to be a good steward of all God has given me.
This video....its just exactly what i needed. Thank you! I have 6 kids and i stay home with them. Sometimes i get jealous of the mamas who go to work and make money and have people to clean their house etc. This is a great reminder to be thankful.
Thank you for these type of videos! Im a working mom and it has been hard to find joy in my daily life. I want to become a homemaker 100% of the time and provide for my family by working from home. I want to embrace motherhood more because it has been easy for me to focus on the hardships of motherhood instead of moving beyond those hard days.
Another lovely video. I often grumble to myself and think, “Ugh, religion - invented by men to benefit men. I didn’t sign up to be a slave” and then I watch a video like this and remember that I am truly blessed with my family and home life. I love the tranquility of your place. I live on a very busy road with lots of traffic. Your hair and make up are pretty
Our road actually has a lot more traffic than we thought, so I understand! Our previous house was on a highway lol so I totally get traffic. Thank you for your kind words ❤️ food for thought, what is religion and how did it come to be?….
Even though I am now a Great Grandmother, I love your video's, your love of the Lord, your common sense, and just Your love you have for your family. You are a rare gem. A one of a kind. And today, my prayer is that many, many young women, just starting their lives, hear you. I mean, really Hear you. It would avoid a whole lot of regrets in their lives. God Bless you young lady
I’m someone who was single my whole life. Finally met the right person (Catholic match) and had my first kiss at 24! I truly thought I’d be alone forever and working. Yet here I am now, a stay at home mom. It is an absolute pleasure being 100% present for my husband and son. I go to bed with so much peace right now.
Hi Kelsey, please don’t stop making these videos. You are inspiring a lot of young moms like me to be a diligent homemaker. Thank you for loving and caring for your family, for encouraging us on our journey. Thank you for the free meal plan I’m following it.
Thanks for showing bits of your home. I always say that moms are so strong to have kids and you said "super power" for it. Yey! I loved seeing you in your element thriving as a mom with your little ones, creating things from veggies, and just being who God has created you to be. I don't think I have ever seen so many peppers at once. Your scriptures shared are so wonderful and inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing. I love how huge your flour bag is! I wish I had a home large enough to have it to store, but with my teeny kitchen and home, the small bags will have to do!.
The realness in you and your vids, the Truthfulness, the Spirit empowered, heartfelt prayer!!! My goodness! You have restored and refreshed my Spirit today!
Yes, yes, and yes! One of my favorite Chesterton quotes is, "How can it be a large career to tell other people's children about the rule of three and a small career to tell one's own children about the universe?" ❤

Hi Kelsey! I absolutely love your videos. I am a fellow Catholic, wife and mother! I love my vocation and the fact that through it we can help build up the church! Thank you for spreading the word of God to everyone you can!
Hello Kelsey, your video just came on my TH-cam feed this morning. What a fantastic video! As an older woman it's so wonderful to see you being a "Keeper of Your Home". Love it! ❤ I'm sharing this video on my Facebook page. God bless you and your family. Take care!
I’m so grateful that you are on TH-cam, Kelsey! You have been such a blessing and inspiration, God only knows how encouraging you have been for me! Thank you for all that you share, in truth and love and wisdom!
Instead of getting a new blind for your bathroom window, you could put up a window privacy film. They come in all kinds of pretty patterns and they are easy to wash and replace if you ever decide to change. They are also budget friendly!
Thank you for this reminder, I constantly feel pressured to be and do what the women of the world do. I would like to know how and in what time you do the other things that have nothing to do with taking care of your home or your children, because no matter how much we want to dedicate ourselves to the home, there are always external matters to attend to, for example, in what time do you prepare the children's classes, or edit the videos, prepare the content that you share on the networks, run errands, etc.?
You will have to let us know if you find any! I would love to make the transition to dresses and skirts and it's on my goal list after our upcoming move to our farmhouse! Thanks for being so inspiring ❤️ happy sunday!
Sadly , most moms i know are raising their children alone . My dad couldn’t hold a job to provide. My mom worked to shelter and feed us. I think that staying home moms is great, but most moms cannot afford to stay home with their kids.
Yes this is true. There is a difference between having to and choosing to. It’s all about the intent of the heart. Is a woman working for her own success and desires or because she has to or has discerned her calling from God?
It was on sale at Kohls. I’m pretty sure it was 50% off. I’m assuming it was really long on people, so it didn’t do as well, but it’s perfect for anyone who’s taller.
Kelsey thank you so much for playing that lovely song while we see your barn and yard and scenery at 09:24 ++ - I have always preferred traditional old time hymns for worship but this lyrical song and singer have calmed me and helped strengthen my faith, along with your narrative. I so look forward to your videos the most! Who is the singer and what's the song title?
Kelsey, can you make those noodles with gluten free flour? Thanks for sharing your life with us. I love my vocation as a Catholic mom and wife. I just wish I had embraced it earlier in my life. But God is good. Keep the videos coming.
Yes! I use oat flour but I cannot run it through the kitchen aid attachments. I roll it with a rolling pin (lots of flour on the bottom) and use a pizza cutter or knife to make strips for noodles. They are thicker but delicious!

This is when you may serve in the church and communities. I know I have some time before I'm an empty nester, with my youngest child being almost 8 years old. But I know that for myself, I will be turning my focus from my children once they're grown to my service to God in other ways. Motherhood isn't our only purpose under Jesus, and I'm deeply thankful for that! We can serve our Lord in so many wonderful ways! I'm sending you much love and prayers for guidance in your new season of life. The Lord will guide you. Pray and ask Him to show you where He wants you to be and how to serve Him best! ❤
I am quickly approaching this season of life. One daughter will be 21 & the other 18 in a couple of months. So, they don't need me that much. I started a women's group at my church. I still have a full time 'job' taking care of my husband & running my household. But now I am free to help my aging inlaws. I also just got new neighbors that include a young wife/husband & 2 toddlers. I now have time free to help her & entertain her kids. I have a couple of other younger mom friends & I often help them as well. If I'm lucky I will have grandkids one day. Honestly, I feel like my life is even busier doing 'God's Work' now than I was when my kids were little & much of it is slightly more interesting & fulfilling. I loved being with my kids when they were little, but it was a lot of repetitious, mindless tasks. Now I get to think more and I have more flexibility to work church events/volunteering.
Women are not to be more submissive than men. The bible says: submit to one another. Ephesians 5:21. This is the revolution for equality which Jesus brought rebelling against and removing the power of the suppressing patriarchal Phariseans. The burden of raising a family is to be shared between both the father and the mother.
Our homes can't be Pinterest or Instagram perfect because we don't have millions to have them staged. However, having our homes Christ ready is far better. This current generation of feminist movement is seriously toxic.
I’m pretty sure that show you referenced “Call Her Daddy” had a demographic primarily of gay men, and liberal feminists women. That was of the reasons Harris went on there. I would be surprised if any real Christians actively listen to that show.
Yes, I believe her show does have who you are describing, but 70% are women and it being the second or most popular podcast tells me there are more than liberals listening. You’d be surprised at what Christian’s allow in (myself included). Her audience is mainly Gen Z and millennials too.
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse I was going primarily based off her self described demographic. No Christian woman should be listening to her. She is feminist all the way.
I dont think that is true. According to Luke 10.40-42 Jesus acknowledges well-educated womenthus rebelling against the patriarchal Pharisean culture suppressing women. Jesus has women followers travelling with him allowing women also spending time outside the kitchen/the Jewish womans traditional very small place in life- Jesus clearly respects Mary and tells Martha to stand back and stop trying to stop Mary from persuing goals outside the traditional role(trad wife) metaforically outside the "kitchen". However taking care of small children is very important. But as the children grow older it really is time for a woman to use her gifts - and allow them to grow through education and career. For Jesus as well. What else is there for the woman but being an empty nestor once the children are big and the grown children/ sons/daughter in-laws dont want too much interference from the older woman. At that time the christian woman can accelerate her own business or career - and should - according to Jesus. If you have children in your early 20´s they will be big or even grown ups when you are only in your 40´s and still has maybe 40-50 years left of your life...So dont talk badly about welleducated women pursuing careers - once their children are a little older - bc it is indeed very biblical - this is the revolution for women which Jesus brought to the world. Moreover research shows that a well-educated mother has healthier children too - bc educating a mother - educates generations to come! So that is also why Jesus says that Mary - not Martha - chose the very best. There should be a Martha and a Mary in every christian woman - according to Jesus himself.
Amen. When I listen to your videos while homemaking, I feel the Spirit of the Lord confirming that I am fulfilling HIS will and I feel joy in doing it, without any resentment toward my family.
