    Oh, man;!! I believe this is the best rib video I ever seen!!! Only because I don’t like the taste of sugar, the only way it can get better! Is put a rib in each of your cookers.! I did that last week! Oh my , one in the pit boss 1100, one in the smoky mountain Weber,! And one in the Masterbuilt (560) working on that stick burner! Now I have to do it again but with your recipe Buffalo Ribs heading my way! Ye!Ha! Thanks

    Is the grand champ fairly easy to use the metal thick enough to make it a whole temperature well or is it a struggle

    • @EverettBBQ
      @EverettBBQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much Lawrence for the comment and for checking out the video. I think the Grand Champ isn't too complicated, it's just more about figuring out how you want to run your fire and on what sort of refueling routine. The metal is definitely thick enough to hold a temp and the only struggle is moving the darn think. 😂 Cheers to you, sir! 🍻

    What temp did you cook these ribs from start to finish?

    • @EverettBBQ
      @EverettBBQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      Prolly closer to 275 than to 250 but it hovered between those two temps for a majority of the cook. Thanks so much for checking out the video and for commenting. Cheers and happy smoking my friend. 🔥

    Everett quick question. Are you getting the hickory sticks from Kingsford? Trying to find hickory its mainly oak and mesquite wood in the area where I live.

    • @EverettBBQ
      @EverettBBQ  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had a good store of the Kingsford Hickory to start out, so that's the hickory in this video but I have since sourced some hickory locally that needed about 4 to 5 months of seasoning even after I bought it, so I have some random bags of hickory from the western wood bags to the kingsford and some local. That's where I got the cherry wood from, it was in big bags out front of my gas station. I am having a hard time finding Oak in Indiana right now. We apparently have Ash, Hickory and Cherry for days just no Oak? That's the feedback I am getting. I'm sure you're already checking facebook marketplace for wood sellers but I would recommend trying to find some local guys that are selling their wood from a 3rd party and see if they leave a contact number. At least that way you can get some more info on potential of hickory and/or mesquite. Where are you located at? Cheers, Armando! 😎

    • @armandoa5468
      @armandoa5468 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EverettBBQ Yeah I've been looking at FB Market place and what not. I'm here in way south South Texas near the Rio Grande River. I managed to score a few bags of hickory and cherry from a local vendor. Seems oak wood is easier to find in Central Texas and we had no shortage of mesquite down here. Anyway, any day we get to que it up is a good day no matter what wood we find lol.

    I had a smoker like that the problem is the fire box is too close and the grill is not easy to clean. Look at his Dyna Glow smoker videos a much better smoker very easy to clean the ash pan is very easy to empty and he's no rookie when it comes to cooking on a smoker or grill.
