    Do you notice any noticeable screen tearing on starfield when the frame rate jumps around? I know frametimes are usually inconsistent, how does look visually/ feel? Is it something you could get used to?

    • @GameTechPlanet
      @GameTechPlanet  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Im not a fan of any tearing. If a game such a starfield is having issue ill use ingame vsync. Takes care of the tearing when vrr, freesync or gsync are missing

    This plays way better than the Steamdeck which u can only get 12-20fps, but this is actually better.

      It has a lot more power than the Steam Deck but my Steam Deck OLED runs Starfield at 20-30fps, yorue underselling the Deck. It looks like glaucoma though 😂

    Simple nice review. I get a kick of people comparing something that's been out a while (updates etc) to something that is fairly new.
    If there are any comparing of the Go/Ally/SD then compare them at the same time they were released example 3 weeks after being released etc etc.
    For me I do a lot of MMO (BG3, Star Citizen, elite d, New World etc etc) so the Ally and Go are in my target hairs and will buy one by them end of the holiday season/year.

    Hey there, i have some things confused about the legion. A lot of people are saying that you can play on 800p or 1600p. Can you not play on 1080p? I am aware of aspect ratio being 16:10. Also i see a lot of people saying that switching to directx12 lets you play full screen. Can you explain it all?

    • @GameTechPlanet
      @GameTechPlanet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately starfield os one of those games that doesn’t have a fullscreen option so u can cucle resolutions. It will only do whatever your system resolution is set to prior to launching the game

  • @OTDECK
    @OTDECK ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Wow the more I’m seeing the legion go the more I’m like steamdeck is the best your gonna get, no wonder they added an oled screen, 700 pound to play at 800p upscaled to get 10-15 more fps crazy, defo getting the oled deck now valve I’m sorry!! 😂

    • @GameTechPlanet
      @GameTechPlanet  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Lol 😂 get where your coming from. Make sure to check a lot more games tho. Starfield is an oddball and not the norm. Alot of newer games do tun waay better on the z1 extreme. Plus u can play games such as fortnite, destiny 2, Call of Duty and others that are blocked on steamos. I still grab my steam deck a ton to play games. Love it. But theres also alot of games i grab my ally or go for as well. All depends each persons needs really. So glad we are seeimg so many more options and competition starting up

      @@GameTechPlanetI hate you for that reply 😂 every time I try to justify the go or the deck and then I make up my mind somebody throws in a curve ball 😂 I honestly dunno what to do mate haha I might have to get them both. I think it’s the fact that it’s an oled screen that’s blindsiding me

    • @OTDECK
      @OTDECK ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GameTechPlanet but seriously come on dude gamer to gamer, forget the channel! Forget the numbers let’s talk 😂 would you prefer to own the deck oled knowing its limitations right now, or would you still choose the legion go? Because I know it’s not oled but the screen is allegedly quite close to oled

    • @GameTechPlanet
      @GameTechPlanet  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@OTDECK sorry man 🤣🤣 my bad. I know the decisions are hard. If I had to choose one id go nuts lol. The Go needs alot of updates still but they working on it. So for now Ally is a smoother experience overall. Neither offers the “ console like “ experience the Deck offers with steamos but then steamos has its drawbacks to lol. Oled screens are rly attractive tho. Completely changed how much I play my Switch handheld.

      @@GameTechPlanet I hate you so much 😂😂😂😂 it’s just getting worse, I know legion is still updating itself I get that! It will be amazing eventually. But it is effectively just a steamdeck that can give 15fps more, forget the screen resolution increase lol because if you add that in… you dropping fps

    How is this better than a series x

    • @alexcrowder1673
      @alexcrowder1673 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Portability and FPS mode. Specs arent THAT far behind either. 8.6 teraflops on Z1 extreme vs 12 teraflops on Series X. The Series S is only 4 teraflops btw, so this is actually more powerful than that.

  • @216jbreez
