You have taken the scare or hesitation out of making candles! I’ve watched videos for daysssss and I was ready to give up on moving forward. I found you about 3 hours ago and I’m EXCITED again and ready to purchase the other products needed. So many candle markers are not as willing to give recipes jar sizes and wicks. THANK YOU! 🥰
Hi lil3Monsters!!! Your comment has made my week. This is the most I could ever want for my candlemaking channel. Thank you so much for sharing these kind words. Love and light always and a warm welcome to our TH-cam candle fam💛🌱
You are the best. Explaining everything in easy to understand language and where to buy fragrances, wax etc. I watch all your videos because they are so great.
Excellent video! So detailed and easy to follow along. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.💜 A couple questions: what’s the best way to clean your melting pot and utensils after use? Also, why do you let them cure for two weeks?
Thank you for watching, Brandyn! I generally clean my containers in a utility sink with dish soap and water and then I leave them on a stainless steel rack (separate from my dishes) to dry. For cleaning out the presto pot, you can put it on a *very* low setting for about half a minute or even less and take a paper towel to wipe out any residual wax. Two weeks is a good rule-of-thumb to obtain the most mature hot throw from soy wax but you certainly can try burning them sooner than this. I’d recommend waiting at very least 3 days after making. For some fragrances though, waiting the full two weeks (or sometimes even a month!!) is helpful to experience a mature hot throw from soy wax. I know it can be hard!!!

Love this! Looks like so much fun! Definitely will try to make my own candle! 😊
I’m excited for you, Betul! Let me know how it goes, and if you need help with anything, feel free to send me a message and I’ll do my best to assist.
That was great!!! Ok I see a couple things I can adjust … heating to 200, heating the wax more slowly. Thank you!!
Excellent, Kim! I hope you’re able to give it another try. 🌱
Hello! What wick did you end up using for this? I don’t see a cotton wick on your list. Thank you for another relaxing video!
Hi there! I use a CD-14 wick for these 8 oz tins. Love and light always 💛
Thanks so much I’m new to Candlemaking
Hi Shunaya! It’s an honor and privilege to have you here. Love and light always 💛✨🌱
@@earthglow thanks so much
I loved this more in depth video. Maybe I'll attempt to make one 🤣
I know you could do it Anna! It can be very rewarding too. 🌱
Thanks for sharing 😊
Hi Toyshia! Thank you so much for your comment and a warm welcome to our TH-cam candle fam 💛🌱
Is it normal to have rippling across a soy candle top? Also have a hairline crack next to the wooden wick. Maybe I’m pouring too hot?
Hmmm.. which soy are you using?
@@earthglow It’s called Kerasoy 4130
❤
How do you know if a fragrance oil is specifically formulated for a soy wax?
usually the reputable suppliers will tell you :)
i stopped using 464 wax becuase it never gave me smooth tops. and that bothered me alot. So now i am using coconut apricot creme
I am glad if coco apricot works better for you!!! We gotta do what gives us the best results and works with our business goals 💛
@@earthglow yes I would have to agree with that
