    Why no videos since this?

      I've been working on a video since last spring about ceremonial magic. I've been languishing because I feel a little discouraged I guess. I've been busy as well with building an in person community here in chicago @acorn_chi on ig. We have been hosting in person ritual and classes and it has been feeding my soul more than youtube. I do want to release my ceremony video but it will probably be another couple months tbh. Thank you for asking. Maybe I should make a little channel update to tell everyone what I've been working on.

    Let's get deeper : I worked on a 19th century opera, designing the sets and costumes and as I was progressing through with my designs, going deep into each act and scene with the opera playing in the background on my CD player (yes i'm older), months in the process, I realised I was living in this reality everything that I had worked on. The same scenarios, same routes, countries, landscapes. So involvement is primordial in hyper sigils and they don't even need to be your own creation. And remember, always, about unforeseen external interferences.

    I got a new notebook and consecrated it along with a pen, I also put a sigil on the cover translating to "Everything written in this book is true and will come to pass". It's all very ornate and I spent a long time planning and performing a whole ceremony for it. I'm exited to start writing hypersigils in this book but I will say that having spent time consecrating, blessing, and charging, everything has gone a long way in making the power feel more solid in my mind

    I believe comics are actually not fiction at all. Everything ever written exists in parallel universes. Grant Morisson even meets his character Animal Man in one of his comics and several writers have seen John Constantine in real life. These occurences are not simply TULPA but are actually occurences where the real character/person has travelled through dimensions/parallel universes, and we all know Constantine can do that.

    Thank you for posting this. I was familiar with Grant Morrison and Alan Moore (Moore’s quote is one I live by) and had heard of Wachter but didn’t know he was a chaos magician. For some reason I was under the impression that hypersigils necessitated being put out into the public consciousness (ie, comics, songs, etc) to achieve on a macro level what regular sigils do on a micro level. I’ll definitely be doing Wachter’s journal method.

      I think that's often how they are thought of! In my experience since making this video I have found that there does seem to be an increase in effectiveness if the content you make even has a slight public nature. So I did Wachter's nethod as a public tumblr blog and found that to be more effective. I have seen great results just doing it in a private journal too. Experiment and see what works for you!

    The timing of this interesting. I'm just now restarting my attempt at a hypersigil. I was following the Black Book formula and it did work. But I was not consistent with it at all, and it didn't work exactly how I wanted.
    I wrote that I would move to a different city, and ended up just moving house in the same town. I still call it a half success because details and scenes I wrote out still occurred. Just not in the location I wanted them to.
    So I'm starting anew and that's why I came upon your video here. Just researching anything I can about hypersigils & I'll see what part of my technique I can refine to make it more potent.
    The fiction suit that Santiago mentioned in the comments here was also referenced in Super Gods by Grant Morrison. It originally was referring to an author insert character but Santiago's method is pretty interesting.

      Yes I have had similar experiences with the black book. I have a had a couple really striking moments that seemed to come right out of what I had written- but for the most part it would be bits and pieces showing up kind of shuffled up.
      After talking to Arden- the thing that stood out to me as being different in Morrisons concept - making a creative product for public consumption rather than a personal diary. So I have been experimenting with publishing my hypersigil as a public blog but I find that it does seem more effective when I write as if I were writing a story for an audience.
      I am interested in trying the fiction suit thing. Thanks for letting me know about that book! Let us know if you try a new experiment!

      @@BlackFinch So I'm getting far better results with my current black book. There was a neighbor that...needed to move away. It was pretty serious. Landlord wouldn't do anything.
      So I wrote in my black book that he would leave. Left it very open ended as to how, because I just wanted him to leave without any harm coming to me or other neighbors.
      And he's gone now. Don't really know what happened but he moved out.
      I did write in my book as if it was for an audience. Styled it as a fictional diary that you'd find in the bookstore. Plus some regular charging of the book as if it was a regular sigil. And yeah it's working brilliantly.

      @@Myke_thehuman Wow that's awesome! I am glad to hear it is working for you! I definitely think there is some extra charge that comes when we think about an external person reading the entries. I don't have a full theory on why yet though!
      I have continued to use mine as well and it is interesting to see how it unfolds in my life. I thought that perhaps some entries had failed but over time I am beginning to see some events appear that I had written about a long time ago.

    I've been trying to do this. I've been getting into it since the beginning of this year. I don't know how it will work. I've been using my computer on a writing program. I have a few journals but they have been used before but some of it are still free pages. I hope that won't affect it in anyway.

      I think as long as there is narrative continuity then your sigil could exist across multiple mediums no problem. However if you are new to the practice sometimes it can help a lot to work with a notebook that is only used for the purpose of the hypersigil. This is called consecration and I talk about it in my video on black mirrors. If you want to do it digitally I would just make sure all your files are in a dedicated folder named for your hypersigil. Follow your intuition and trust in your own process though and im sure you will see some sort of results!

    I like to call it a "fiction suit", which you don sort of like an assumption of the godform. A sort of shamanic approach where the "fiction suit" alters mundane reality enough to move in the environment looking for synchronicity. For the Shamanic effect one uses a drift technique where you wander sort of randomly in the setting. Often it is the smallest things that start to get the ball rolling. I will notice some small detail in the environment that I had never seen. Better is to find some odd object or graffiti. This experience when narrated into the notebook encodes the experience. The narration then can be analyzed for the information the environment had revealed. The memory has magical qualities and the archetypal imprints leave an imprint much like traveling in the spirit vision.

    • @BlackFinch
      @BlackFinch  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is really interesting! So after you assume the "fiction suit" do you then just go about your day normally? Or is this done before a shamanic journey into a mental realm?

    • @santiagoeurekan4989
      @santiagoeurekan4989 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BlackFinch Urban Shamanism, where you interact with Nature of your local environment. Like a spirit vision but the physical world becomes the mental realm. I suggest making it a mission. The "events" that transpire are going to get narrated in the Hypersigil. The magickal intent should clearly revolve around the character or "fiction suit" so that when you read it later you can glean the information from the "spirits", or however we want to view the information dense environment. I found wearing a costume element can be helpful. For instance, I had a long coat, and when I would see my shadow I would immediately identify with-it as the fiction suit. First person narration in your head during the drift and then third person narration on paper.

    • @BlackFinch
      @BlackFinch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@santiagoeurekan4989 Ok I will try this. So, just to clarify- I should first write out the events that will transpire in third person around a character. Then I should wrap myself in the form of the character and enter into the drift- narrate to myself in first person. And then I go back and read the hypersigil later?

    • @santiagoeurekan4989
      @santiagoeurekan4989 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BlackFinch Yeah! I did an experiment yesterday and today its like remembering a dream when I look at the narrative. I drifted outside the Laundry Mat (one of my favorite hacks for some reason). I looked down and found a Pokemon card...Bronzong. In very small print I read "Some believe that it's bell like cry opens up holes to another world. It has been revered as a Deity since ancient times." Then I did analysis. The Bell in my current symbol set represents Wisdom, and in particular the non-dual wisdom of Prajaparamita. I am reminded of Jupiter in Aries by the spinning of the wheels of the dryers and washing machines. Wisdom of the bell becomes Chokmah. The path of Aries. Chesed. I make a quick tree of life sketch and notice that the path of the Heirophant is blank. My mind instantly sees that the Woman Girt with a Sword is the Prajaparamita. I get an understanding of how she destroys the false sense of duality, and the mask on the Heirohant indicates that behind the mask of dualistic appearances is the unity above the abyss. I go for another long walk and hit up the second hand store. I find a homemade wooden castle for ten bucks. I dont know why I need it but I take it home. On my way home.I hear the Church bell toll five times. Later that night I realize that the castle is probably the Watchtower of Earth, due to its association with the Heirophant and Earth. Now I have a 24inch square 3D watchtower talisman and an odd Pokeman card which acts as a dimensional gate. I mundane reality I was a just going to wash my socks...
