- Samsung Galaxy S20+ review with it's Pros & Cons after using it as my primary smartphone for over 3 weeks this is the official Indian variant that comes with the Exynos 990 SOC it has a 6.7" QHD+ AMOLED screen a quad rear facing camera with 30x zoom option and comes with 4500 mAh battery with 25w fast charging.

@@arjung2682 you have to return the phone and won't be getting any money for it. If you want to keep using the phone you gotta pay the balance amount which was earlier given as discount.

The only big problem of this phone is Exynos processor they should have given Snapdragon one.

Since our Samsung model is different,even a different Exynos with dual physical sims (rather than eSim in European markets),it has different battery life and heating and so on.I applaud your meticulous job. Samsung puts a whole big Stylus in Note series..
But they don't have space for little 3.5mm Jack in S Series..

My friend, I do agree with you to a certain extent.
However there are lots of ppl who wait for long and save their money for a lot of time so as to get a flagship phone; and I've seen lot of ppl like that. So the case is not same as u say.
And further, why does it have to be a wireless future, when what it does is putting more burden on the user. Think about it, now a user has to Shell out money for a USB c adapter or headset or a tws. He has to be aware of the charging of both the phone and the headsets too. So what has the so called wireless future done apart from making things even more expensive and complicated.
Now you must be also aware of the fact that a person has to Shell out at least 3-5 times more than a wired for a similar quality sounding tws.
Further if this becomes mainstream slowly, even the mid-rangers will soon phase out the jack.
So u get My point. These companies have made things even more difficult actually.

Hey Ranjit,i have been waiting for your review on this device. One question...would it be worth to get the snapdragon version of this from US? What are all thr problems i will face if i do so? I have been scratching my head over this. Pls clear this.
The exynos variant is slower and dissipates more heat than a snapdragon Variant. Exynos is not good at all for this price.
It also sucks power!!.. Poor on battery backup..
On my s20 plus exynos variant I am getting a screen on time of 7hours 45 minutes , including more than 2 hours of heavy gaming (cod mobile) . Phone gets little warm after gaming for 1 hr but i didn't see any frame drops or glitches even at max graphics settings.
@@NirmalKumar-tj2pt Do you use the 120Hz mode? And do you have all the usual stuff like location, mobile data, bluetooth, AOD turned on? I can barely get 4-4.5 hrs SoT with my regular usage but I also do have my work profile activated which consumes 5-10% battery every day.
@@rainZSlayer no i only use 120 hz for gaming, with all of them turned screen on time will be eventually reduced no doubt about that

great review as always Ranjit ... however can you please share your thoughts on why majority of Android OEMs aren't opting for 3D face id system for biometrics ..we only have it on pixel 4 and Huawei mate 30 pro ... optical fingerprint sensors are fine for convenience but not that much secure ...

No. Indian variant has support for only Physical sim cards only.

I have a query, even though my phone is on Do Not Disturb mode(only calls as exception), there is a notification sound after every 10-15 mins and it's pretty disturbing. Could you pls help me identify what is the notification sound about?

Hi Ranjit, i had a strange issue with galaxy devices, am using galaxy note 9 and my brother is using an s10+.
At a studden when am using my phone,the phone display got discolored and horizontal lines appeared..it lasts for 2 days and automatically settled for my phone..2 days back my brothers phone got same issue..and it didnt settled till now..is this a common issue with amoled dispalys..if so how reliable is this??

One thing that bothers as Indian users..last year Samsung sold S10 series in India with exynos chipset and later that year sold S10 lite with Snapdragon 855 chipset,I am absolutely sure they will do the same thing by introducing s20 lite with Snapdragon 865 later this year, can't understand Samsung's freaking logic behind this absurd strategy..
I am also waiting for their S20 lite, but sd865 is expensive. Maybe they go with same Exynos processors.

I think camera is the most important aspect of a phone and the network reception is very very important. Build quality, reliable brand, data security et al are really important in a phone. Display is another important thing.

Hey bro. I got the Snapdragon S20+ 5G version with 12gb RAM and physical dual Sim. And it's so amazing. Like the best of both worlds. Samsung's UI, Camera, hardware and OnePlus level performance. And dual Sim was icing on the cake. It is definitely the most underrated BEST PHONE nominees of 2020. An absolute beast of a phone from Samsung (the Snapdragon version) :)
I am planning to sell it as I use Snapdragon Note 10+ as I use the S Pen a lot. Let me know if you want to buy it :)

When talking about the lens the only way we can compare is by using the format used by camera lens i.e 25mm equivalent.
Terms like 50x and ultrawide means nothing, without a basis of comparison.
