Have you considered grabbing a bunch of invuln dome scrolls and just casting those when he does his AoE? That's what I always do, though it does require concentration.
wait how do you use secondary arrow as additional attack? Because I can only use basic attack in additional attack, when I tried to use it said it required action to use
@@nhyvt I mean does every classes except Sorcerer, Wizard, Cleric have that? But I cant do thing like cast spell, using scrolls, using functional arrows,.. The only thing I can do with additional attack are basic melee, range, throw, improvised weapon
@@estaliah.8276 Most "Physical" type of classes, get their "additional attack" at level 5, bards have it at level 6, fighter get it at level 5 and 11. Spellcasting classes have different ways to have "additional way to cast" per se. Learn your build via a youtuber and play with it. It's why the game is fun.

You can’t use it to cast spells or scrolls because those are different actions to the attack action (even if it’s an attack spell, attacking and casting a spell are different)

Invul globe is a great strat for him. Unfortunately not viable for melee, because he flies away.
This was the boss that ended my run, super nuts to see it soloed.

Shield of thralls. Illithid ability, gives 10 temp hp and stuns enemies in melee range when that 10 hp is gone

Why not use a hireling’s transformation orb lightning instead of the ring
In my solo rules, I don't use any external buffs. This whole run was a practice run for solo honour mode. So I didn't use transmutation wizards.

Paladins have innate 2 attacks per "action" at level 5. Be it melee or range
