Yeah, it's not a part I've explored too much either. So many nice parts of the Pentlands, make me wonder what other nice areas I've been missing. Thanks for the comment!
Great stuff again 👍 Can't wait for what's next now the snaws finally doing 1 eh? Like Clare said earlier, think you could be in the market for 1 of these sleep aid aps with your calming voice..... as long as you don't name it "sleep with the goat" you'll do braw 😁
Cheers Steve! Hopefully the virus will do one soon as well, gonna run out of places to visit. Haha, you never know, that might be exactly what some folk are looking for 😆😆 Appreciate the comment! Take care.
Congrats on 1000 subs and thanks for sharing another enjoyable video with us. That snow on the hills looked wonderful , I was thinking you could have done with some snow shoes ; ) Teddy
Thanks Teddy! It was glorious, perfect winter day, minus the strong wind :P I wish I had some! There was a lady who passed me with them on gliding effortlessly across the surface. I was jealous I have to say! :D Cheers!
Lovely video and watching it I have realised I have been lying for years as I have always told people that the Knock Hill was the highest point in West Lothian. Checking the OS65 Map I can see the Knock might not even be the highest hill the Bathgate Hills as Cairnpapple looks higher.
Thanks Pat! I think the old West Lothian council area meant Cairnpapple used to be the highest, so you weren't far off! Think the council area changed in 1994 to what it currently is now making West Cairn the new county top.
That was a wonderful 7 minutes, it was almost like watching a walking program on the BBC back in the day when they used to make anything worth seeing! Also it's good to see a proper pair of boots for the conditions. :-)
Thanks snowy! Haha, if I can replicate an episode of Bargain Hunt up in the mountains then I might be able to compete 😆 Yeh, I've not used the winter boots for a while. Thought it time to dust them off and put some miles on them. Take care! Kris.
I'll gie you a cauld stane slap and I'm sure you're one of the tallest in West Lothian without having to climb a hill. 😁 Braw video mate and congrats on the 1000 subs too. 👍🏼
Haha, sounds like some sort of wrestling finishing move now that I think about it 😆Tall enough that ultra light seems out of my reach lol. Cheers, Appreciate it man! Take care!
A tad violent... obviously somebody wasn't soothed by this 🙄 Cracking video and just another thing to resist against the urge of venturing further afield. Not long now... not long. - Bryan -
Thanks Adam! Yes, but the true summit of East Cairn is outside West Lothian. Looks to me its in either the borders or Midlothian but doesn't touch the West Lothian boundary like West Cairn does. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong though! Cheers, Kris.
Nearly feel a sleep watching this, such a calming voice 😴😊
Hehe, I'll need to start including random jump scares to keep folks awake 😂

Thanks Kris made me cold watching this video 😂
I'll need to try balance it out with a hot sunny walk 😄 Weather permitting 😄
Kris, You must have been frozen capturing the footage for this superb video. Well done and no surprise the subs are on the up. Cheers, Charlie.
You speak from experience 😄 Frozen indeed! Had to cut the drone flight short due to frozen fingers 😄 Thanks Charlie!

@@ScottishMountainGoat wow , you're actually right!! They next to each other thou lol. Wow
@@AdamAdam-sz7ef Yeh, it seems like every council wants to try and grab themselves a piece of the cairn hills! 😄
