Wild Camping in the Pentland Hills

- A summit camp in Pentland hills near Edinburgh. From Flotterstone carpark, my fellow youtuber, Monty Outdoors and I walked around past Glencorse reservoir before heading up top to Bell's hill to spend the night.
It was a fantastic evening, still and warm, although it did make the flying beasties a little irritating at times. We picked a great spot free from the beasts and with a cracking view down over the Glencorse Reservoir, with good views along the Pentlands skyline to Scald Law and East/West kip. A brilliant pitch with good company.

I love local to the Pentland hills only being about a 30min walk away to my house, the car park you drove in is being revamped right now so the main route into the hills has been diverted & the road leading in closed but not by very far at all! you can still get access very easily. fantastic video & new subscriber here.

Enjoy mate. Might be a bit wet tomorrow, I'd avoid the Green Cleuch / Lovers Loup area as it tends to flood.

Cheers! Yeh, saw alot of MTBers when we were out. Loads of great routes up there for it. Quite fancy getting myself a bike one day and giving it a go.

Looks like it's been there a long time whatever it is, the tree's growing around it. I thought it must be something to do with the old filter beds, but not sure 🤔
