    Nicely shot Kris and some lovely drone footage. I once cycled to the Falkirk Wheel and back from the South of Edinburgh. Legs never forgave me for it 😏

      Thanks Kev! Haha that's some distance! I've still not been to the Falkirk wheel yet. I've got the twin excuse of lockdown and the hole in the canal though, once both of them are sorted I might make the trip lol.

    Braw footage Kris, loved the drone footage of the aquaduct and the birds too. Its nice to see what's on your doorstep. Done something very similar in East Lothian. 😁

      Cheers Robin! Was gutted I couldn't drone the aqueduct at the end as well but it's right under Edinburgh airport's flight path 😢 Haha nice, look forward to it! Have a merry Christmas and happy new year when it comes!

    Lovely video. It’s a nice route. I especially like the bit in and after Linlithgow. Loved all the shots of the wildlife. Really like the pace and energy of your videos by the way. Happy festivities mate

      Cheers Leon! Yeah, that was my favourite as well, nice bit of country side. Liked all the birds between winchburgh and broxburn, but it's not very peaceful with all the industry and airplanes lol. Appreciate it, have a great Christmas and a happy new year!

    Brilliant Kris, what a great wee bit of film making! If you don't mind me asking, is this filmed on your phone? The quality is so good! All the best Paul.

    • @ScottishMountainGoat
      @ScottishMountainGoat  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Paul. It's the Panasonic GH5 I use for most of the footage. Its a bit on the heavy side, expecially for the big hill walks but I guess it keeps me fit 😄 Have a good christmas!

    Not that it matters now, but during the second lockdown you could always walk or cycle any distance outside your local authority area, provided you started and finished within 5 miles of the boundary. So from West Lothian you could walk the Pentlands - you could have started at Nine Mile Burn or Silverburn on the Midlothian side, Bonaly on the north side or the Harlaw car park by Balerno on the west. I had a couple of walks from Balerno, even though it's in Edinburgh Council.
    Hopefully this information will never be of use again!
