I knit a sweater for my cat at the beginning of lockdown madness. At first she would just flop over as soon as it was on, but now she's used to it and it actually seems to really soothe her! Anytime she's causing a ruckus at 4am I just put it on her and suddenly all she wants to do is snuggle.
I love this! I couldn't figure out the last tutorial I watched but I'm going to combine the parts I did understand with this one and do vertical ribbing for the collar and the bottom. And I will close the gap between the front legs. I'm so excited to try this!
It's hard to find a good how too for a dog coat. Your video is the best out of the ones I personally viewed. It was especially helpfull when you demonstrated on the dog. It shows how you were able to size correctly. Mine came out perfectly fitted without being too tight. Thanks!!

I find the double crochet really does speed things up without compromising on warmth (you know how chilly a chi can get!)

To be honest with you slvtblussxm, I felt the EXACT SAME WAY! Thunder was just a dog we were fostering through a dog rescue. We had him for 5 days before he totally won us over. haha! I am still not a chihuahua person... I am a Thunder person.

I don't know of it is because I stopped for a little over a year die to depression or maybe that I crochet on UK terms... but I can normally follow pretty well. Do younger a written pattern?

I love the idea you've got here, however, not only was the music annoying but the long sections of speeding through constantly.... it was not only distracting, but confusing when you would all of a sudden stop and start...long periods of speeding...repeat, etc. I would have thought pausing through the repetitive parts/rows, then show the work while describing it as you did, would have gone alot further in explaining your pattern for a wider audience. Like I said, it's a good idea and basic pattern, just difficult to endure, and that's coming from a 40+ year veteran of crochet. PS I love your dogs!
