    Thanks for taking the time to share your interesting and unexpected results. I was checking the comments hoping someone could offer a possible reason for the very poor high frequency performance, along with the other anomalies, but sadly all I found was a troll who just joined TH-cam this month and has nothing of value to add. I appreciate you being honest and saying you don't know instead of acting like you have all the answers. I'm no longer considering purchasing either of these products.

    Thanks for your work! Very interesting. I went ahead and bought the B03Pro+ despite your video, mostly out of curiosity and as a way to "upgrade" to LDAC from AptX-HD limitations with another older/cheaper BT TX/RX unit. I listen using a Qudelix-5K, and wanted to be able to have hands free, but with LDAC. Now, the android app for the Qudelix-5K outputs the state of the input, and I was shocked and disappointed to see the following specs used for the LDAC connection from the 1Mii B03Pro+, in transmit mode (toslink output from laptop into 1Mii B03Pro+ with LDAC TX to Qudelix-5K): codec - LDAC, sample rate - 48 kHz, bits per sample - 24-bit, bit rate - 330 Kbps. That's right, while AptX-HD has a bit rate > 500 Kbps, I only get 330 Kbps on LDAC (which is "usually" minimally using > 600 Kbps) and only at 48 kHz (not 96 kHz). So, really no benefit using LDAC on this thing, over AptX-HD, and therefore, no real reason to buy this thing for LDAC usage. EDIT: as I was writing this above, it occurred to me that the sample rate of 48 kHz might be a limitation of the Terratec AureonDual usb toslink output, I switched to the connection to AUX-in from the headphone jack on my laptop, and I do now see a sample rate of 96 kHz BUT the bit rate remains at 330 Kbps. So, as is indicated by Qudelix-5K information, LDAC below 606/660 Kbps is NOT going to yield a sound quality comparable to a wired connection. So basically, the point remains that this unit cannot produce an AptX-HD level of sound quality, even using "LDAC", at least, not in TX mode.

      Thanks for the additional data and test results. I did recently test the B03Pro+ with a Monoprice Soundstage3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, and the frequency response was identical between hardwired and bluetooth SBC codec. I was shocked to see that, but the numbers don't lie. While I must call that speaker a POS for reasons spelled out in the video, it sure does sound good regardless of how you feed it an audio signal. Excellent review! I really like audio reviews with "numbers". I think those audio reviews with "this sounds bad" or "that sounds amazing" are just useless, becase "bad" or "nice" or whatever, are always very subjective. But numbers don't lie, and I my case your review was very very usefull because I just wanted a better BT adapter (currently I have a very basic SBC one) and I was surprise with the frequency response using aptx HD. I listen Spotify, so for me, aptx HD is more than enough, so I will go with the B06HD+. Thank you!

    Hiii, my grandpa uses the B03Pro+ to cast his TV audio to 2 pairs of bluetooth headphones, since their hearing is not that good anymore. It works, the only issue is the volume sometimes goes down, and then up again. Like a wave. Do you maybe know what is causing this behavior and how I can stop it? Or do I need to return this thing..

    • @Now-Review-This

      Interesting, that sounds like some sort of bluetooth crosstalk, like another device is controlling volume. The only thing I can think to try is go through the house and turn off all bluetooth devices except whatever is directly connected to the B03Pro+. If that solves the issue then try re-enabling each bluetooth device one at a time until the problem comes back. That will tell you which device is causing the issue.
      Otherwise, it could just be a misbehaving feature built into their headphones that needs to be disabled. But that's all I can think of at the moment. Do let me know please what you find, I'm curious. Cheers 🍻

    I just bought and tried out the 1Mii DS200Pro. I bought it because it supports LDAC (which I'd prefer when listening to HD streaming music). I'm using a Samsung S22 and have LDAC enabled. It paired with no problem and my phone showed it was using LDAC. It sounds great to me so far. I have no others to compare it to and there aren't any reviews of it yet out there. Good question, I wish I had a number from a test result to offer you. But all I can give is my opinion. If using aptx LL you should be fine aside from half the crowd constantly trying to connect to you, that may cause some glitchy interference, depending on the crowd of coarse. You have many options in this regard, but I would say buy it, try it, and if you have any issues with signal integrity at a normal live event, well send it back for a refund. But if it glitches once, at all anywhere, it's gonna be a potential problem then everywhere. Also keep in mind that bluetooth doesn't have the range of radio or wifi, so distance is more critical using BT.

    Hi. Thanks for the honest review. I was just going to buy this Ldac transmitter.
    Can you recommend anything for Ldac transmitting purpose?
    Please leave the Fiio bta30pro out of it. I just sent it back to the store. What a horrible product that is. I had to pair all my earbuds and earphones I was going to use. My LG tv can memorise them all. :-) Also, it lost connection with its application on my phone, as soon as I turned the transmission mode on. The sound quality was alright in Ldac mode, but it drove me crazy, so I had to let it go. I have three pair of Ldac capable earbuds, and earphones, and I can't use none of them, as they were intended. Sony wf-1000xm4, Sony wf-1000xm5, and the Shure Aonic 50. Can you recommend any Ldac transmitter with optical input, please? Thanks a lot, big time.👍🤙🇬🇧🙂👊

    LDAC quality is very much related to transmission rate with the best being 990kbps. On my android phone I have to select this manually as the default is a lower bit rate to prioritise connection stability - at the expense of audio quality. Were you able establish what the transmission rate was? Is this in the documentation for either the transmitter or the receiver?

      unless there is noise coming from the power source. I would be curious to listen to it while it's connected the way you did to the pc to see if there is audible noise in the test setup that is not there while using it in the real world. I know my PC causes a ton of noise in audio devices.

    • @Now-Review-This
      @Now-Review-This  ปีที่แล้ว

      The noise is in the devices, not the PC. I show this in the beginning of the measurements with my systems full frequency response. It's almost ruler flat, so any deviation is coming from the devices themselves. I believe the noise on the top end is high frequency jitter. It may not be audible for most, but some will hear it as a smearing of detail in higher frequencies. 1Mii seems to be aware of the issue since they add a 3 stage high frequency filter on some of their higher end products.

    8:25 is it actually a headphone jack, or a 3.5mm line out? If it has an integrated headphone amplifier and isnt a true line out, wouldnt it be better to use the rca output? Im pretty sure thr 3.5mm jack is a line out though, makes more sense than having a headphone jack on a bluetooth transceiver, clearly designed with bluetooth headphones in mind.

    • @roberttaylor3118

      Also, i assume spdif would bypass this, and would be the ideal format for bypass function. My tv is plugged directly into my DAC with spdif, i intend to plug the tv into the b03pro+ and then plug that into the dac with spdif. This should allow for bypass mode, with the digital signal to the dac being identical to that it receives currently from the tv.

    • @Now-Review-This
      @Now-Review-This  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! Only the 1Mii B03Pro+ has a 3.5mm jack, while the 1Mii B06H+ has RCA connections. But the 3.5 output from the B03Pro+ is a headphone out since it has volume control. It can drive a pair of cans quite loud, too loud for me in fact. But I get what you're saying, it would make more sense to have a line out for a speaker, but headphones typically require amplification with volume control so that is how this particular output functions.
      In all of the tests results I showed, I was using the B03Pro+ physically connected to the speaker out port from my PC. This was the transmitter stage.
      Then using bluetooth to connect from the B03Pro+ to the B06H+. This was the wireless stage.
      Then physically connecting the B06H+ to the mic in on my PC. This was the receiver stage
      Ultimately forming a loop back connection. I hope that makes sense.

      And you are correct regarding the SPDIF connection. There is no volume control with SPDIF and it is the best connection to use where possible or when straight PCM is preferred. However, it is limited to 96khz if that matters at all for your needs.
      If I'm understanding you correctly, you want the B03Pro+ to sit between your TV and DAC, presumably to use with bluetooth headphones while still using but not losing any quality from your current setup. Yes, this should be able to do exactly that! However, I have not tested it like that and I do not know if the B03Pro+ can maintain the SPDIF input/output and bluetooth connection simultaneously. It should, I can't think of any reason it wouldn't, but I have not tested it like that. But do please let me know if you run into any problems, I'm curious.

There would be no way to create the loop-back without the use of a DAC, which would create a whole new set of potential errors with less reliable data overall. The way I did was the only way I could do it, reliably, repeatably. I kind of expected this kind of test to potentially read un-true,
      As computers are known for creating audio ground loops caused by electric potential to the ground connection.
      Example, peripherals that are hooked up, A low quality PSU, Sudden mouse movement, GPU and CPU fans with thermal switching & even the motherboard itself! It's caused by the different potential between two circuits.
      Did you try using an in line ground loop isolator? It may help in your tests
      I'm a music producer & use an external audio interface,As never found computer onboard sound/sound cards that did not produce some form of ground loop feedback.
      Another thing to try with your BO3Pro+ is doing away with a plug in the wall USBC PSU which can create ground loops & plugging it into a battery power bank.
      Run another test & post your results,But again you may still have groundloops.

      And what exactly was so bad about the review that you felt the need to tell me while liking your own comment?

      So what is unclear about that? Regarding the noise, I don't know what is causing the noise. Do you know!? What I actually said close to the time you reference, was: "𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞" and "𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐮𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬? 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐈, 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰".... Did you even watch the video or listen to what I "actually" said @ 23:30? You have completely made up sentences and misquoted me. Perhaps you should re-watch/listen when you can focus on what is actually being shown and told. Of coarse you are welcome to purchase both of these products and make a superior review video on your channel.
