It says a lot about this product because I like it so much I bought two units. I bought this unit from Amazon in April 2023. It has Bluetooth 5.0. I have a TV right by my treadmill and I have this unit hooked up to the TV audio and I can use the wireless headphones. I also bought an older unit in 2020 with Bluetooth 4.2. It's hooked up to my PC and I can get sound all over the house -- even through walls and outside. One problem: I sometimes have trouble getting it any louder, but usually it works pretty well. Both units are easy to pair. Hint: If you use the unit in transmitter mode, don't put it too close to you PC, or you will hear background interference. My unit is about 6 ft away, and it's fine.
I've been using the Miccus Bluetooth T/R for years, but it is older technology. Glad for this review. I went ahead and ordered two of the PRO units (Bluetooth 5). By the way, I ran a test between two devices using Apple's "W1" chip: An iPhone X and Beats Solo3 Wireless on-ear headphones. I picked out FLAT, OPEN GROUND without any foliage. Then I placed my iPhone X in a paper bag to hide it's identity, and started walking, wearing the Beats phones. I had SOLID signal to 2,000 ft., but kept walking. As long as I had the RIGHT EARCUP (containing the Bluetooth receiver) towards the iPhone, I was able to walk another thousand feet. That's 3,000 feet, as long as there was an unobstructed field of view. Not only was the SOUND "clear as a bell" but I also had SUPERVISION -meaning, I could use the buttons to adjust volume, skip tracks, and answer a call! Apple's W1 chip is amazing! Now there's a W2 chip. I haven't yet had an opportunity to play with that yet. de KØUNX, Jim, in Jefferson County, Colorado
Thanks for the post and I'm glad that you enjoyed the clip. I agree that Apple has stepped up their Bluetooth game. My suspicion is that they are getting ready for the next iPhone this year and will eliminate ALL external ports for charging and audio. It'll be Qi for charging and Bluetooth for audio.
@@Dronevalley I agree. They've been moving in that direction for some time. I've hated playing "The Battle Of The Connectors" game all these years. I think Total Wireless is the way to go for Apple. Aside from Apple, I hope the "Mini-USB" and "Micro-USB" will disappear, and Type C will become the standard for wire-line. I like directionless and genderless connectors! Years ago, I standardized my house on PowerPoles for everything.
Based on your excellent review and explanation I bought this, the Pro version, and just finished setting it up. My initial reason was to be able to send music from my old large capacity and non-Bluetooth iPod to my Roku Bluetooth home theatre sound system. It works like a champ and was easy to set up! Next step is to set up connections to it for my reel to reel and cassette players. I knew that there had to be a way to use my vintage equipment with my Bluetooth speakers. After much searching you showed me the best way to do so. Thanks!

This unit has antennas like a router but you can run smaller units which you plug into a usb to both transmit and receive which you can tailor to each system you wish to send or receive. It makes each set up a standalone. I mostly use a receiver to send music or tv to my headphones so i can move around and not miss what is going on. The only drawback is the distance of transmission common for bluetooth. Some people mentioned they don't know how to send music to their stereo from their computer what i have is a high end Sound Blaster which can be THX but it is a small controller which improves the sound also that can be bluetoothed with a transmitter to a bluetooth receiver on your stereo amplifier which has a small usb power pack which provides power. These transmitter/ receivers need only 5vdc.

I want a transmitter that will transmit 1 audio signal to 4 or more bluetooth connections. We have a group who want to use our existing earbuds while watching the same movie but all the transmitters seem to have a limit to only 2 devices. The silent disco headphones seem to allow 6 devices to each transmitter. IS this because they have some special extra receiver in each headphone????
I have three sets for my three stereo systems. I have my computer, SMSL M200 DAC to set up the base. From there I send the HD signal to other system. The sound is equal to the original signal. It save wires, and works flawlessly.

Great video and review! What is the latency rate of this device; I intend to use it for connect with my Audio Mixture to sync my speakers and bluetooth device
Yes, the volume on the TV is separate and can be controlled just like it is today. The input to this is done through the "Audio Out" connections on the TV and sends that audio signal to your headphones where you can control that volume directly on the headphones. It's a great setup and I hope that helps.
Dany, yes, the unit supports simultaneous transmission to two sets of headphones at the same time. We use it for watching TV late at night with my son. Thanks for the post and stay tuned for more gear reviews. Rick

Thanks for the video. I'm looking for a device that will act as a repeater for Bluetooth between two devices that isn't for audio. Looking for a device that allows pass-through and Bluetooth simultaneously. My grandfather just moved in and he is hearing impared. We enjoy watching TV/movies together but he either needs Bluetooth headphones or to crank the TV up very loudly, as in annoying people on the other side of the house loud. Will this device achieve this? I'm currently using the TV's internal speakers so the other option (Bluetooth soundbar and headphones simultaneously) isn't currently an option.
Hey, if you are still online How do you choose the aptx option as my one automatically selects SBC and there is a lag between speakers? Is it because the LL is selected instead of the HD Or is it because the output is the rca and not the digital?

I have a solar generator that has Bluetooth communication to an app on my phone. The problem is when I go upstairs, I loose the Bluetooth signal. I want to boost that signal so I can monitor the power draw from anywhere in the house. Is there a repeater that will extend that signal?

I have a Samsung Tab 7+ tablet (also a Samsung TV and an HP Elitebook Notebook) and I want to connect their audio output to two (or more) Bluetooth receivers. Frankly, I wasn't sure what you were saying, if I could power more than one Bluetooth headset/earbuds; and/or what else the kits would do... that I may or may not want. FYI, I can read and follow detailed instructions, usually. Also, do they have U.S. phone support??
I want to transmit music from my laptop to an intermediate gadget which will receive the signal (strengthen it or amplify it, whatever the terminology is) then transmit it to my sound system. That's my understanding of "Range Extender". This gadget is marketed as a range extender. Is that true ?
So many technical queries from viewers that it raises the question of how effective this presentation really is. Historical and promotional comments in themselves are not always enough.
I found the same product on ebay. Why does the ad say 5.0bluetooth transmitter, but the product details list v4.2 bluetooth on most models I have found? Is that advertised on yours as well?
Thanks for the post and eBay is a little like the Wild West and you're never sure what you're going to get over there. There are also several models of this Bluetooth product available with different specifications. I can assure you that if you're considering the B03 or the B03 Pro model, both of them are Bluetooth 5.0 and they work great. It's been a year since I did this review and am still using mine and loving it.
Can I use a powerbank to take it outside use it for my drone longer distance and thank you to let me know where Bluetooth came from I'm thinking about buying one but if I can't take it out side to use it for my drone for longer-range there's no sense to buy it love you and your videos you rock

I know this is an older review but my basic question is: Can the optical passthrough operate at the same time as the bluetooth rx/tx? My particular configuration has my PC connected to my older 5.1 Stereo over optical. I wish to inject audio from my echo show over that same optical input
I'm a wire guy too but it's nice to slide back into the recliner to watch a movie with the Bluetooth headphones on and not wake the kids. Tech keeps rolling on and it's hard to keep up with all the changes.
Since BT shares the same 2.4Ghz band as WiFi (unless latest BT version supports 5Ghz) we're going to have radio collisions. I've already seen problems when several of us are flying Tellos with BT remotes in a classroom.
how do you connect a bluetooth headset? The bluetooth button is flashing and I dont know what to do to connect my headphones. It is obvious with my phone, you just go to the bluetooth settings menu...
I haven't tested that and am not sure that you can sync two of them to each other. I'll give that a shot this week and see how it goes. Thanks for the post. Rick
Thank you for the great review. I do have a question, is it possible to connect Optical (soundbar) and AUX (Hi Fi) to the device and works as a blutooth reciver. Like using my phine to play music simultaneously on the hi fi system and soundbar?
This video is a tad misleading, you need APTX *Low Latency* , it has to say low latency or LL after APTX. If it just says APTX, it might not be low latency.

Thanks for the review, Rick! Question about using this as a transmitter with Bluetooth headphones: With my current transmitter, I can pair my Bluetooth headphones and listen to my TV, but if I then use my headphones with my iPhone, I have to go back through the entire pairing process to reconnect the headphones to the transmitter. Is it the same way with the B03?
The B03 will remember the pairing and you should just be able to pair them once and you'll be set. I use the transmitter portion of the device with a set of Bose headphones and switch between the TV and my iPhone with no issues. I hope that helps and thanks for the post.
I would think that would be dependent on the headphones being able to be paired with more than one device, even if not simultaneously connected to both devices, since it's the headphones you want to have switch between TV via transmitter and iPhone. A good related question though is if this device can remember pairings for multiple devices, such as transmitting to BT headphones or receiving from iPhone audio player.
Hi there! Great review. I have a question; I hope you can help. I use this to play music from my iPhone thru my stereo, but, I am trying to play music from iTunes on my Windows PC to my stereo. I cant get it to work. Is there a way you can describe to make this work? Thanks!
Rick, thanks for the post but unfortunately you can't connect a "passive" device like a CD player or turntable to the Bluetooth kit directly because it's audio output is too low. Those are both considered "Line Level" devices and need a small amplifier between them and the Bluetooth kit to work.
I want to use my Sonos soundbar (for surround) AND a separate speaker for dialogue (both using optical). Can this device send optical signal to both devices, or do I need an optical splitter?
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. Question. I’m a songwriter, producer and filmmaker. When I work I record demos, interviews etc. on my iPhone or iPad. But getting these ideas into Pro Tools is a pain. I have to e-mail them, then change the format and so on (I won’t bore you with the details). I’m wondering, can I transmit the Bluetooth audio to this device, plug the analog output into the RCA aux input of my Pro Tools interface, and record directly. The ability to do this could save me a lot of time and allow me to EQ, compress and process on the fly.
You imply that latency increases with distance, and more power will reduce latency at longer distances. Nope. RF signals travel at exactly the same speed through distance as light, regardless of power. Latency (delay) is introduced within the processing of the audio in the transmitter/receiver and newer BT versions do that better, reducing latency and improving lip synch. More power only improves range. You also gloss over the NFC feature and imply it is a new/different transmission format (not bluetooth). No. It is a Near Field Communication protocol that aids in close (inches!) transfer of data. In this device, although you don't actually describe it, it appears to be there to facilitate bluetooth pairing with mere proximity. And it sure sounds like you say the Bluetooth symbol is derived from ancient "ruins". It's RUNES, an ancient written symbolic language. Nice video and great presentation, but don't bluster through what you are unsure of...
Great Video Thank you. What I would like to be able to do is have the sound go through the TV as well as to bluetooth headsets, because some people in the house can hear better than others, so having it to be able to go to air pods or hearing aids where they could adjust the volume if they need to, but it does not look like this device can do that... Is there anything out there that can? Thanks again.
Bluetooth& Wired Simultaneous Support B03 allows the user the Bluetooth & Wied Simultaneous allows the user to place& connect the B03 in between the TVand the Soundbar (or Sound system) to share the same optical/audio output port on TV while being able to get audio through both devices simultaneously. This allows the headphone user to listen at different volume levels; NOTE. Bypass can only work with the same type of input/output. AUX input to AUX output Or OPT input to OPT output.
I have 13 in ceiling speakers in my house. I have 2 ceiling speakers upstairs and the audio receiver is downstairs. I can connect the upstair speakers via music cast. The problem I am running into is the tv upstairs doesn’t have Bluetooth. So when I am watching tv how do I connect the tv to the upstair speakers? I am trying to connect my tv to the speakers which is connected through the audio receiver. Will this device work?

Bluetooth 5 says up to 7 devices. But can it support 3 headphones or more simultaneously? And how many headphones can be registered or prior paired? Some people have many headphones.
On the site it says you can connect 2 headphones simultaneously, it will also “remember” only 2 pairs of headphones. I am getting mine tomorrow and I can come back and let you know how many I can pair if you like
Thanks for the post and I've had really good luck with it and only had issues with older gear that used an older Bluetooth standard. The newer gear I use worked great and I like that it gives me an extended range for the connections.
I just bought this because I have an older plasma TV, an an old Bose Companion 3 (which is better than all the sound bars I’ve had). There’s no arguing here, this is what I want. The picture on this Panasonic plasma is phenomenal. I can hook up the two readily enough, with a DAC and the optical out on the TV but what I really want to do is connect my wife’s Amazon Echo to those Bose using the bypass on the MII. Is that possible?
I only want to use my Bluetooth headphones to receive from my smart TV that has no Bluetooth period...will this product do the trick...I'm not tech savvy. Lol thanks

i'm trying to play my music from my phone to my rock speakers out by the pool and to my tuner that runs all the speakers in my house. For some reason I cannot get them both to play at the same time. My tuner and rock speakers. How do I get that connected? I connected the unit to my tuner and rock speakers and still cannot get both to play my music. would love your help.
I bought this to cut the feedback from my bed tv to computer speakers. I got a second for my living room tv to wireless head set.
Excellent tutorial and review. Thank you so much for taking the time, Rick :)
Thanks for the video. I'm looking for a device that will act as a repeater for Bluetooth between two devices that isn't for audio. Basically, I want to extend the range of a Bluetooth remote that will be connected to an iPhone. Would this device work for that? If not, can you think of anything that would work? Thanks
Can I connect 2 or ore headphones at the same time?
Hello, I'm trying to connect my TV and a Yamaha receiver via Bluetooth. The receiver has built-in Bluetooth receiver so I'm looking for the best transmitter to connect with my TV with my receiver? Thank you
Great video with good tech info
Looking for a device that allows pass-through and Bluetooth simultaneously. My grandfather just moved in and he is hearing impared. We enjoy watching TV/movies together but he either needs Bluetooth headphones or to crank the TV up very loudly, as in annoying people on the other side of the house loud. Will this device achieve this? I'm currently using the TV's internal speakers so the other option (Bluetooth soundbar and headphones simultaneously) isn't currently an option.
If I make the conversion through an adapter will this work from an XLR to a 3.5 aux?
Hey, if you are still online
How do you choose the aptx option as my one automatically selects SBC and there is a lag between speakers?
Is it because the LL is selected instead of the HD
Or is it because the output is the rca and not the digital?
I have a satellite decoder in my ground floor living room that uses Bluetooth remote controller pairing , i have installed a hdmi extender transmitter and receiver with ir transmitter and receiver, but in my bedroom on the 1st floor i can't change the channels using the Bluetooth paired remote controller .Do you have a Bluetooth extender ?
I want to make sure mine is working correctly when I put in tx mode I can still hear the sound bar what I do I turn the volume down on the sound bar and iPods work I just want to make sure that's how its supposed to work. On the volume can you work it other way then having to get up and adjust it on the unit I am using AirPods. I order this unit but I guess they don't put their contact info in it any more but I learned more from your channel then I would from them I'm sure. Thanks for any help besides the help you already gave me.
I have a solar generator that has Bluetooth communication to an app on my phone. The problem is when I go upstairs, I loose the Bluetooth signal. I want to boost that signal so I can monitor the power draw from anywhere in the house. Is there a repeater that will extend that signal?
Great help with going through all the specs.. Great job.
Rick.. can you please tell me if you hook this up to a guitar amp can it be paired with Bluetooth headphones and have no latency while playing the guitar. Any latency at all throws your timing off while soloing or playing rhythm. Thank you
Where you able find one? That doesn’t have no latency?
I want to get WI-FI to my old stereo and then to Bluetooth speakers. We do not have the speakers yet. We would love some help on what is the best way do accomplish this.
Great vid!
If I buy 2 would they pair with each other?
I want to transmit music from my laptop to an intermediate gadget which will receive the signal (strengthen it or amplify it, whatever the terminology is) then transmit it to my sound system. That's my understanding of "Range Extender". This gadget is marketed as a range extender. Is that true ?
Can this be used with mixer console for phone calls
You're probably thinking of a WiFi extender. This is a BT audio transmitter/receiver.
Great review! I just can’t find the link to amazon though.
Thanks for the post, there are 2 models and here are the links - 1MII B03 - Transmitter / Receiver Kit - amzn.to/3g3DeD9
1MII B03 Pro - Transmitter / Receiver Kit - amzn.to/32Yv6jI
Can I connect with my iPhone and transmit to two separate Bluetooth speakers at the same time?
...it cant receive and transmit at same time so I assume you have to keep running back and forth to change the switches?
Does this device support 5.1, I have a soundbar, I use for music and I have a AV with 5.1 (optical cable). I use a lot Kodi in my Android TV.
is the B06 or B06pro better?
which one did you get
I know this is an older review but my basic question is: Can the optical passthrough operate at the same time as the bluetooth rx/tx?
My particular configuration has my PC connected to my older 5.1 Stereo over optical. I wish to inject audio from my echo show over that same optical input
What would I use to extend the range of my earbuds from my Samsung SG22 Ultra to get more than 33ft?
So tired of Bluetooth. Connecting to every device but the one you want. Much easier to use a wire. Great reviews and videos @dronevalley !
Far more secure also.
I'm a wire guy too but it's nice to slide back into the recliner to watch a movie with the Bluetooth headphones on and not wake the kids. Tech keeps rolling on and it's hard to keep up with all the changes.
@@kamelsr Def true. I never like keeping my main computer bluetooth dongle on or in
@@Dronevalley definitely true. my heart rate monitor connects to everything but what i need it to at the time also!!
Does this transmitter have an audio gate when connected via analog?
Hi rick, can you join two of these together to form a Bluetooth extender?
I haven't tested that and am not sure that you can sync two of them to each other. I'll give that a shot this week and see how it goes. Thanks for the post. Rick
Thank you for the great review. I do have a question, is it possible to connect Optical (soundbar) and AUX (Hi Fi) to the device and works as a blutooth reciver. Like using my phine to play music simultaneously on the hi fi system and soundbar?
Can TX and by pass mode be separated?
This video is a tad misleading, you need APTX *Low Latency* , it has to say low latency or LL after APTX. If it just says APTX, it might not be low latency.
as soon I heard the story behind the BT logo knew was misleading af😂
@@AudioReplica2023 Story matches Wikipedia article. "The Bluetooth logo Bluetooth.svg is a bind rune merging the Younger Futhark runes Runic letter ior.svg (ᚼ, Hagall) and Runic letter berkanan.svg (ᛒ, Bjarkan), Harald's initials."
Can you use it for making calls with your headset? Does it transmit and receive at the same time?
no, you have a switch on the left side where you have to choose only one position to transmit, by pass or receive
Would have been good to have seen a range test in this video.
I have a question if I go to TX mode should my soundbar shut off and the sound come out of my bluetooth
Headphones?
Can i connect 5 outdoor speakers at the same time?
WHICH BT transmitter has the less latency?
Hi there! Great review. I have a question; I hope you can help. I use this to play music from my iPhone thru my stereo, but, I am trying to play music from iTunes on my Windows PC to my stereo. I cant get it to work. Is there a way you can describe to make this work? Thanks!
He got the nickname 'Bluetooth' from the blueberries he ate. Stained his teeth blue.
Can I pair my Bluetooth speaker to my Bluetooth stereo receiver
Great review thanks for the effort. Saved me $30 by picking what I need v's not wanting to miss out :)
Can I connect a cd external drive to this to playback my music cd’s ?
Major deal breakers, Micro USB and no display for the transmit mode so how do you know what device it's trying to connect to?
What I would like to be able to do is have the sound go through the TV as well as to bluetooth headsets,
because some people in the house can hear better than others,
so having it to be able to go to air pods or hearing aids where they could adjust the volume if they need to,
but it does not look like this device can do that...
Is there anything out there that can?
Thanks again.
Bluetooth& Wired Simultaneous Support
B03 allows the user the Bluetooth & Wied Simultaneous allows the user to place& connect the B03 in between the TVand the Soundbar (or Sound system) to share the same optical/audio output port on TV while being able to get audio through both devices simultaneously. This allows the headphone user to listen at different volume levels;
NOTE. Bypass can only work with the same type of input/output. AUX input to AUX output Or OPT input to OPT output.
I have the tv sound along with the transmitter and I can't figure out how to turn it off so others aren't disturbed when I watch tv!! Help!
Can you tell me the distance/ range in feet!
Great video! Thanks!
Glad you liked it! I'll be posting more clips on other high-tech gear so be sure to stop back soon. Rick
Awesome review!! I was just looking for this type of device and wallah.
Thanks for the post and its a great Bluetooth unit. Solid performance and a great price. I'll have a lot more high-tech reviews posting soon so be sure to sub the channel so you don't miss any. Rick
Thanks for the video's
Bluetooth 5 says up to 7 devices. But can it support 3 headphones or more simultaneously? And how many headphones can be registered or prior paired? Some people have many headphones.
On the site it says you can connect 2 headphones simultaneously, it will also “remember” only 2 pairs of headphones. I am getting mine tomorrow and I can come back and let you know how many I can pair if you like
I have this unit and it's great but "picky" in which BT device it will connect to.
Lol thanks
Drone Valley and other stuff?
I'm thinking maybe "Drone Valley and other High-Tech Gear". I play with a ton of leading edge gear besides drones and love talking about it so I thought I'd start putting some of it on the channel for the viewers.
How many headsets can I connect at the same time? Say I need 2 people watching a film at the same time.
Thanks for the post. The transmitter will support 2 headsets at the same time so you can easily share the audio from the TV.
