Great run man. My cartridge for this game as a kid had some kind of bug that would always freeze during the final level so I've never actually gotten to see the ending. Fun seeing this run at AGDQ!

As much pain as this game gives a player, it's still so much fun! The humor in the game is preposterous and I love it.

The music to See Jim Run, Run Jim Run blew my mind as a kid. I was delighted when I realized that I could listen to the soundtrack by putting the CD-Rom of the game into my CD player.
It was a lot later that I learned that this was based on the Moonlight Sonata.
This seems like an awesome game to play just for the gorgeous art. The vili level is so calming, and level 8 did make me hungry.

Love Earthworm Jim. I used to have a SNES copy of the first game. I still have a copy of 2. Some of the finest SNES graphics ever made for the platform at the time, let alone sound effects and music.
I loved the 'Flying King' level so much, I just wanted it to never end. =)
I got stuck on that level for MONTHS

@@Smilley85 First thought was resolution switching or something weird due to the 3D nature of those levels, but I don't know that the SNES was capable of anything like that on the fly.
@@jelloburn Just saw a Coding Secrets on how they did it in Toy Story. The "ground" is probably a Mode 7 background, and then some fancy sprite tricks to make the buildings 'turn'.

I friggin love this game. It really influenced my sense of humor and taught me the value of perseverance in the face of overwhelming bullshit. (This game is HARD on a casual playthrough!) I loved watching someone break the game into tiny pieces. Well done.
