Belltech Street Performance twin-tube shocks set the standard in performance handling for sport trucks. Their low-speed compression characteristics help to control pitch and roll, while their progressive rebound tuning allows you to use large aftermarket wheels and still have a smooth, firm ride. Oversized 55mm shock bodies, 35mm pistons, and 15mm piston rods, combined with vehicle-specific damping tunes, will give you the ride that you're looking for. Order the model designed for fitment on your vehicle.Street Performance Shocks
Our engineers focused their attention on tuning the low speed compression characteristics of this shock absorber, which is responsible for controlling your Sport Truck or SUV’s pitch and roll, dive and squat to help keep you confident and in control. The “Progressive” rebound tuning will complement large aftermarket wheels, keeping the ride smooth but firm and in control.

Quick FYI for anyone looking -- The C notches from McGaughy's also have holes in the top and bottom for bolts, and are made to be installed inside the frame after cutting - ends up being a much stronger fit. The top part of that one you have looks like it's welded together backward! ALWAYS weld it in on the actual C notch if you can.
Great video dude! I plan on a 4/6 for my 98 but to be honest doing a notch makes me nervous lol. Good stuff man. Subbed.
Bro I like how you make the vids short and sweet to the point
banga8080 Thanks man. I think it’s to cool share what you know with the next guy.
You should always drill a hole in the corners of a c notch before cutting. The rounded part will keep it from cracking. Sharp corners are a weak point and proned to cracking.
Scotty doesn'tKNOW thanks for the Tip.
After I lower the rear, my rear axles came in wards
Do you know what I could of done wrong?
The side of front tire went in
Did this c notch have the reinforced plate on the inside. I know they have a super c notch now but i don't know if it's a separate or if they put it in the kit now standard.
Are shock extenders needed when using factory shocks??
When is part 3 coming out
There doesn’t need to be any music for this, it’s annoying, takes away from your instruction and video, too distracting.
thanks for the input
How are those shocks still holding up??
Shock extenders are not needed with drop shocks....shock extenders are used when you repurpose the factory shocks so they still get a good throw and dont lose travel when compressed from the drop
Patriot Deplorable thanks
I like the video so much help however what if I don’t want to do the c notch will it make a difference or how many inches with it lower if I don’t do that. ?
Juan Aviles 4” in the rear
Doesn't some of the C notch kits come with a pattern that you line up with some of your factory bolt holes and just trace it out on frame with a marker then cut out the pattern then drill out the bolt holes through the c notch kit then bolt it up?
this one didnt come wit a pattern , i had to hold it up and trace.
I have a djm rear end and drop shock extenders and I used the same rear shocks and it's been 2 weeks with it, it was a stiffer ride and now its squeaking
joshua avila try and not tighten the stuff so tight if there is a bushing
Also your shackle bolt may be squeezing on the frame might need to cut it down some
White lithium grease is your friend also
Question ...? I thought you only uses shock extenders with stock length shocks not lowering shocks I have 4/6 drop with no extenders Had shop do my truck back in 1990 ride has been nice now changing
rear shock to Belltech Street 5-7 shocks part #2212IF
Take the extenders off the drop shocks,
Hey man please help I have a 95 silverado with a step notch I ordered the belltech lowering leaf springs with flip kit and shackles...I kid you not the ass end bumper is 2 inches off the pavement, it dropped it 10 to 12 inches ...should I have used the stock leaf springs ??
MaCaRelli 209 leaf springs and shackle would have done it . Flip kit drops it a good 6 inches itself and shackles drop it 2 inches more
Whats size is your rotor 1” or 1”1/4
C notch bracket is on backwards.
Watched your first video
Was hoping the next no music lol
If I do the flip kit is it mandatory to do the c-notch?
xxENDSxTHExROUND No . But you’ll only have a round 2” of Travel... then the truck would beat the shit out of its self.
What size drill bit did you use bro?
phro beto I don’t remember.
