Truck looking cool! Sure you probably have a baseball bat ! Old school we used a ball bat to clearance between tire and fender issues! Just put bat between tire and fender roll it back and forth a little at a time till u get the clearance u need! God bless you young man! U seem like a hard working dude! Keep up the great videos! Got some of those spindles for my s10 gotta get installed. Paid for mine tho. Got from their eBay site. Cheaper then normal site but stil good prices either way. Iv got a femder roller btw if ya wanted to come use it some time
Thanks appreciate it. This truck isn’t ready for a 2 hours trip lol it still needs the alignment and wheels are bent or something because it’s still not right yet. Front is smooth it’s the rear wheel I’m pretty sure it was bent when i got this truck and need some work still.
@@JamesDguy yeah I understand that especially driving this far and back again. Sucks about ur wheels. We don't have any stock spares or I'd tell ya come get em. Hopefully I'll be able get on the Honda this week and maybe get it right and one of these days we can get together. We're having a car show here n June for our volunteer fire depart my kids are on plus several churches have shows during the spring n stuff around here.

This one is a 5.0 it’s a solid engine but most likely doing a 5.3 swap on it since they make more aftermarket support for the 5.3. The 5.0 is a good engine if it’s the carb engine since they make support for that.

Hadn’t looked through all comments but have you addressed inner fenders? I’ve built several obs Chevys and found for best clearance is to cut and foldup tabs then spot sled and grind for paper thin/smooth inner fender lip!
Do you think grinding down the lower control arm so it doesn't rub is something that is ok if you kept the 15"s?
How are the Detroit axle brakes holding up? Thinking of picking them up for my 95 as well

The whole truck needs to be taken apart and cleaned up with paint. But its a shop truck not a show truck. Some undercoat on frame will definitely dress her up.
It can be both SORTA. I will clean it up the best i can but at the end of the day it is just a shop truck. I will do what i can to get it as nice as i can though. It will be going to car shows not to win trophies but to spread the GOOD NEWS! Jesus is the good news!
