Looks good bro, I just ordered my DJM 4/6 drop, went with the kit that comes with the drop lower control arms and the upper control arms to keep my alignment straight..and they look cool lol
Yeah planning on switch over to control arms , but my alignment was perfect on these surprisingly

Im glad more people are lowering they're trucks properly. Some would be taking off leafs and cutting the coils wich makes them ride like shit. Nice truck bro

On the 15s I believe 235/75/15 no rubbing
Did the front settle in a but more. It looks a little bit lower in the back! Looks clean though👍
Yeah after a couple days of driving it everything settled down and looks even

Yes you’ll need the stock one if you just want a 6” drop if not with flip kit and lower shackles you’ll be a 8”

How much space did you have after the flip kit in rear before c-notch?
Looks good bro I did a 4/6 drop on my 96 but used belltech c notch,coils and shocks and Mcgaughys spindles but I had to cut the gutters in the front on the lower control arms so my 15 inch wheels wouldnt grind up on the inside shot a video of it it’s on TH-cam now
Yeah had the same problem but upgraded to 17s so it doesn’t do it as much only full lock but I want go 4” control arms instead of spindles and springs

Yes only flip kit
Yo there’s are two kits the one with the spindal and the control arm which one do you recommend?
I’d say control arms , especially if you’re going to run small wheels so they don’t hit on your arms

I see you did do the notch in the frame. Was it hitting? Do you really need to do right away?
Yes on these trucks you have to notch anything after 5” on the rear
Are shocks for the front & extension for rear necessary? I just ordered my 4/6 drop from DJM
Extenders not necessary, I took mine off after and but belltech shocks front and rear for a smoother ride

Did the 15" wheels clear with the drop spindles? I thought you had to go 17's
They’ll clear but will rub on your control arm , you can trim the control arm or get bigger wheels

@@sidewayzindustries2613 do you know by chance the specs of those rally wheels. Like backspace or offset? I want to get some wheels like that for my dropped truck right now is on jackstands and I wanna make sure they'll fit. I trimmed the lca rain gutters already
I believe they’re 15x8 or something like that , they’re just the stock rally wheels.
hey man i did a flip kit on my truck but my truck seems to be bouncing a lot when i’m driving could this be the shocks because i am currently on stock shocks
Do you have a notch in the rear ? But yes shocks will help a lot!

If you have flip kit you’ll need a notch and shocks for a better ride quality, I upgraded to belltech shocks once I took it to get alignment.

Rides great , got belltech shocks installed and c notch , daily it everyday
would the lower control arm rub against the inner part of the wheel?
Yes , you can trim those “rain gutters” so it won’t hit inner parts of wheel

yo bro i got another question so i got my springs and shocks installed but i am noticing that my control arm does hit a bit when i turn it all the way to the right is that common or should i get that checked out ?
If your on 17s or smaller stock control arms will hit , if you do control arms for drop they won’t hit

I suggest the control arms just so you can get a perfect alignment and it comes with ball joints so that’s a plus

Do your front wheels rub on the lower control arms ?
On tight turn with the 15s yes , but I’m on wide 17s so not as much
So do you get better clearance with the 17s now ?

I have a 1995 c1500 rwd long bed Is did 4/6"drop I'm having problem with my stock wheel is rubbing the lower control arm is any one know the fix whiteout change the stock wheel.?
Cut the extra piece on the control arm aka the “rain gutters” or get bigger wheels

Yes anything after 5” drop in the rear requires a c notch if not you’ll be bottoming out
What does bottoming out mean ?
Without the notch your frame will be hitting your diff

Yes , I suggest you do helps give it a smoother ride

I was about to say how the fuck were you able to notch it with the bed still on me my homie and pops Fucking struggled to remove the bed on 78 c10
Unbolts the bed just enough to be about to comfortably fit and be able to reach the welds

Cmon! A lil more pride into it by painting that exposed frame and wheel wells and not just hurrying to get the kit on.
Relax buddy , the cnotch still needed to be install , that’s when everything got painted.

Front needed to settle , it pretty even know especially when I don’t have weight in the back

You dont need a cnotch on a 6 inch!!
88-07 you do need a cnotch on anything 6inch if you want a comfortable ride , if not you’ll bottom out!
