  • Learn what conversion rate in Google Analytics 4 and where to find it. Also, GA4 introduced an update: two different types of conversion rates (session conversion rate and user conversion rate).
    They are calculated differently, so make sure to learn the difference between them.

    Thanks for this video. I really like that you don't use the intro animation / music anymore and come to the point. Keep it calm and professional.

    Nice video Julius, as always. Is there a way to identify session conversion rates by excluding sessions by users who are already converted in the previous sessions ?

    Thanks for the video, I'm having an issue in GA4 interface. I find it difficult to find the conversions and conversion rates by specific parameters. For example, we have one important conversion, and that conversion can be done for different products, if I want to see how many converted product A by all users, how do I do that?
    I've tried in both reports and explore, but it's only giving me cr% of 100% since I need to filter the whole report for "Users with conversion events of product A".
    Do you have ant videos on that or planning to do any?

    Hi, thanks for video. Is there a chance I can set up my reports to see conversion rate in a graph day by day? Id like to see the progress of conversion rate in time. Thanks

    Thank you so much for your videos. I have a question. is there any conflict between the conversion rate caculation method and the Google Signals setting Device-based? Because 1 user can use more than 1 device to access the website. Thank you so much!

    Thanks for the useful explanations. You covered global conversation rates for all users/sessions and conversations across a site, but I’m curious about being able to show conversion rate by specific conversion, like the % goal completions by goal completion location report that’s available in Universal Analytics under the Goals>Overview tab. Is it possible to replicate that in GA4 Explorer? Thanks.

      Hope to know the session conversion rate for each conversion event.

      Guys, I think that it's possible by filtering just desired conversions at Explorer.

    • @Guilopes99
      @Guilopes99 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@imgom3s but if you have let's say 20 events and want to see the conv. rate for 15 of those 20, how would you do it? Do you have some sort of naming nomenclature?

    • @imgom3s
      @imgom3s ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Guilopes99 you don't need a naming convention to do this, just create a filter for each event name or 1 regex filter with OR condition.

    Great video!
    Is there a way to only start tracking conversion rate from the day I added it to GTM/GA4 so it's not diluted by all the page views where I didn't track it yet?

    Why the conversion rate is consistently 100% for events, while the channel conversion shows accurate values. Can anyone help me with this

    Hi, I've been watching your videos on GTM. I'm running into some issues but can't seem to find any answers.
    my google tag manager ID for my only container on GTM is different in my workspace compared to when i go into a preview debugging mode, therefore my tags, triggers etc are not showing up in my debug mode as that specific container ID is not the same as my workspace container ID. I believe it is because my workspace container ID is set up for 'www.' not 'https:://www.' so when i go into debug view i have to add the https::// otherwise it wont allow the debug view. can you give me some insight into if this is the case or if it's not, how i go about fixing this.

    How would you filter that per conversion (as I do not want a global conversion rate for all conversions). Tried and troubleshoot this, but event name (for events turned into conversion) won't work.

  • @ukaszjohny1218
    @ukaszjohny1218 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Quick question - if I want to narrow down the conversion rate only to purchase event I need to add filter like this: event_name matches regex session_start|purchase? Am I thinking right?

    • @FedericoNahmad
      @FedericoNahmad ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you'll have to make a data blend in data studio. 1) Session Source/Medium + Sessions, 2) Session Source/Medium + Conversions + Filter:event_name:purchase. The other walkarround could be to create a conversion based on a audience. I'm going crazy with all the differents results...

      These metrics are not available in GDS (yet). But I believe it should be added eventually. GDS integration with GA4 is always lagging behind what is introduced in GA4
