Thank you for these short, concise videos my man! You remind me of a guy who would create all the quest tutorials for a game I loved playing haha. You save us a ton of time learning it all ourselves
Amazing video! So useful and easy to follow. I'm not sure if changes have been made but after setting up my conversion tracking, I do not have the option to use Google Tag Manager.
Excellent videos, very clear instructions and rationale, providing answers to questions that I couldn't find easily in Google's own documentation. Subscribed and thanks for your help!
Thank you for the video, a couple of questions: 1. If I link Google Ads, GA4, and GTM together with a tag in GTM to track conversions and a custom event in GA4 for the same thing, will it count the conversion twice? In this video you made a tag that fires on the "thank you" page, but in another video I saw for GA4 you can create a custom event based on a page view with a URL filter. If I did both, would that count the conversion twice? Which is the better way to go? 2. If I have more than one conversion, like form submissions or phone calls, and I call the events both generate_lead will there be any other way to differentiate between them on reports, or will they both appear under the same event? To me, it sounds like it is a disadvantage because I want to be able to see which conversion event is doing better.
That was an AMAZING video. I do have a question, Can you please give a tutorial about: How do you track the Conversions of OutBound clicks? (Affiliate links) But, how do you do it when you have Different affiliate links from Different companies on the Same Page on your website and want to track each of them separately?
There are generally two reasons for this. First, if you've installed your Google Ads tag ID on your website and you create the conversion in Google Ads without using the 'Manual' option. Or, second, if you've linked Google Ads to Google Analytics and you don't click 'Use Google Ads Only' after scanning your website when creating the conversion action.
It’s interesting that you used page initialisation over a page view as a trigger. Is there any difference between using the two or is a page initialisation just more accurate. I’ve been using page view for as long as I can remember.
Why use Initialization over page view? I noticed that many of my client's Google Ads conversions are set up in GTM with Page view instead of Initialization. Is there a downside to setting up this way? Thank you!
When I create the conversation element in Google Ads there is no option to use Tag Manager, only Javascript. So it's not possible to get the Conversion ID and the conversion label. @PianoBrianPlays is having the same issue. Has the format changed or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the Wonderful training video. I am facing an issue at 7.30.it prompted (No Google tag found in this container). Anyone having this issue as well?
Hi thank you for this course I'm finding it really useful and your instructions - for someone who's generally mystified by Google products - are easy to follow and concise.... all the while your screen matches mine. But I've hit a roadblock on this video. My New Conversion Action screen only offers Set up with a Google tag and Email instructions - not Use GTM, as you have. So I'm stumped. Any ideas why I'm not seeing that GTM tab pls?
Best videos on the topic by a mile (kilometer?). Can't believe these are free. Thank you very much.
you all time deeply clear a topic.Thank you so much
Just increased my optimisation by 11% due to adding conversion tracking thanks a lot!!!

Can you track lead form submissions on WordPress without thank you page?
That was an AMAZING video.
I do have a question,

PArcero muchas gracias, aca estoy a las 12:00 aprendiendo como hacer esto
The open to install it via GTM isnt showing up for me. Do you have any advice or a video to show how to install it if this option doesn't show up?

If we link the Ads and Analytics accounts, then, do we still need to set up a GA4 Event tag for sending the conversion??
Bravo

Can anyone share link or explain how to track email & phone number clicks , contact us form submission in GA4 with help of GTM??
thanks
taaaaaaaaaaaaaaag....
this is confusing
Couldn't google make this more cumbersome and annoying to setup?
They could make it like Meta. That would be worse in my opinion. 😂
