    Hello JC. You deserve the reward. You are gonna be so happy with the difference I went through 4 replacements for the FPV charger. The chargers are all shaky. I finally bought one on my own , charges alot faster now. This is a great upgrade for you. Happy for you man All you need now is a first floor with a single garage that locks.

    JC I started with a 35 amp hour gel battery and it would die two hours into the fishing trip. Sad part is when you recharged it, it says it’s charged but the next time you go out you’ve probably lost about 10 minutes so you can imagine after about 10 trips. It don’t have full power. So I graduated to a lithium phosphate from Amazon and that 100 amp hour battery runs all day. I actually went to Lake Texoma and we went out fishing totaling more than eight hours and it still had power left. Mine came with the battery charger for about $369. I’m still on the 18 amp gel battery for my sonar. When it goes out, I’m going to a lithium phosphate battery on it too. By the way the 35 amp hour gel battery weighs the same as the 100 amp lithium phosphate battery.

    I LOVE my Ampertime batteries! I bought two, 200ah batteries for my rv. I don’t mind that it has no low temp protection. Most people are putting the batteries in a controled environment. So you don’t need it.
    I’m loving mine. Living off of it as we speak!

      I'm in Florida so the low temp isn't a concern for sure. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with this brand.

    You should look into the Yak Attack Cell Block. Battery and fish finder is all right there on the track and easy to install and remove.

    I have the Nocqua Pro Power Water-Resistant Battery and Charger Kit for my kayak fish finder which i love. Its small, water resistant and lasts pretty long. No headaches with those big battery. Best $88 dollars I spent on Amazon.

    One thing that is interesting is that when this battery dies, there is no initial slowdown in speed that would warn you that it is near drained (unlike lead acid). Had it happen over the weekend unfortunately. Looking at getting a battery gauge for the AP.. don't think the one on the motor is compatible. Also, good idea on getting the recommended charger as there are many on the market, but not all actually do the job for this battery.

      I purchased a couple of small batter meters to try, but they didn't work with my lithium. Both of them showed 100% after several hours of use... It's because the lithium battery is always putting out 100% until it dies. I heard that Amped Outdoors sells one that might work with lithium.

    i connect my motor and fish finder into my 12v 100ah... i only burn maybe about 38ah after going like 9 to 10 miles of trolling and going to my spots... you dont need that little battery to power up your fish finder youll be fine to hook it up with your 100ah 12v... i tested my fish finder and it only burnt ike 7ah in like 8 hours, i dont think youll be out in the water for 8+ hours lol

      i've never run out of battery power and I always start with a full charge. for me, what has ran the battery power down the most is traveling a long distance against heavy current. I generally start fishing within a quarter mile to 2 miles from where I launch.

    Hey JC I just bought my auto pilot 120 last night so now I’m looking at batteries waiting for the kayak to be delivered. So I am really interested in how your battery is working. We need a battery review I think we watch the same guy tear apart the batteries and that’s what made me buy six Chin batteries for my RV which are working well but I just want to see what you think about Your new battery.

    Be very careful with water and lithium they do not play well together at all.
    I have a Weize 10Ah for my Garmin ( that reads it's pushing 13.6v) but have it sealed in a water tight plastic ammo box with a SAE connector.I have also used it a few times for a LED light with 16' strip I made for bank fishing.I forgot to recharge the other night after I got home where we spent 10hrs with it then another 4 tonight before the light went out.
    I haven't read/heard to much in the good about the Ampere Time.I spent a good bit of time researching many different ones and trying to keep costs as low as possible.The Weize was my choice as it's made better from the vids I have watched than most of the lower priced LiFePO4's and has an actual good working BMS and they can be hooked in series to 48v,the Fet's can handle 85v.

    Hey I been looking at this battery for my old town predator mk this video is 9 months old how does the battery hold up for you and do you still recommend it? Also how long does the battery last on the water i troll and ocean fish the north east ...

    • @RadReelingFishing
      @RadReelingFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      The battery is performing great. www.litime.com/discount/RADREELINGFISHI?ref=ahUliY-S07OzT Battery charge is dependent on distance traveled, wind resistance and the swiftness of the current. Let me just say I've fished with my Old Town AutoPilot for the past 3 years using a 100 Amp Hr lead acid and also the 100 Amp hr litium battery and have never ran out of battery power.

    What does your mileage look like on a charge? I’m looking at the same battery

    • @RadReelingFishing
      @RadReelingFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      The duration of the charge depends on trolling motor speed, distance traveled, wind speed and current. I generally fish with mine about 8-10 hours in a trip and have never ran out of battery power using my 45lb thrust Minn Kota.

    How long does the 100ah battery last

    • @RadReelingFishing
      @RadReelingFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Distance traveled, current and wind all effect the longevity of the charge. I generally fish 8 hours in a day and don't run out of charge.

    How long does that 100amp batter last with your 12 volt troller motor ?

    • @RadReelingFishing
      @RadReelingFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on wind speed, trolling motor speed, distance traveled and how strong the current is. In two years of use with a 100 Amp Hr lead/acid I've never ran out of battery power on a fishing trip, but I never travel extra long distances to get to a fishing spot. I'm sure the lithium will out perform the lead/acid battery. The furthest place away from the launch I've fished has been about 1.5 miles away. I generally fish on average about 8 hours during a trip and always on a fully charged battery.
