I think you did a marvelous job getting all that you did for that price, especially with all the household items. Great job. It is truly hard work trying to get what you need and stay on a budget these days 🌸💚💜🌸💜💚🌸
Thank you so much! ❤️ It is very hard to stay within budget all of the time. I feel like we are fairly stocked up at the minute so I'm doing a freezer and pantry challenge for a little while just to make sure we're making good use of the things we have and so that nothing goes to waste 😊 Have a lovely week!
Sorry late watching this I've been away for a few days. I thought you did OK at tesco, like always once you start adding toiletries & household stuff into the shop it bumps it up but you git a good stock now. Abd the rice & sugar will.last you a while. My food shop is probably going to be a big 1 as I didn't do a big shop last week so it's going to be every thing- veg/ salad/ meat / cheese/ household etc. Meal.plan sounds nice, yes get the bargains when you see them whack em in the freezer or cook straight away.
I hope you had a nice few days! Yeah, the household bits soon knock the price up for sure, but like you said, it'll last a while. I hope you fined some good bargains and fill up that freezer 😊
You got quite a bit in your haul 😊. Food prices have shot up a lot over the last couple of years that you either end up going over budget or you have to cut back on certain things. We get free school meals in Scotland up until Primary 5 so I’m lucky I don’t have the added cost of buying things for packed lunches as some of those items can be quite expensive. xx
The rise in prices has hit everyone, I think! We've been doing some work on the house, and the price of building materials has shocked my husband! It's good that you have that bit of support with lunches! 😊 xx
@@Withinabudget I’ve heard that the cost of building materials went through the roof (no pun intended) during and after covid and it hasn’t gone back down again. It’s a shame that our our pay hasn’t gone up by the same amount to offset the increasing costs of day to day living xx
Wonderful vlog i think you bought a lot for the money. You did confuse me saying pork chops , i thought no lamb chops 😂😂😂 and how do you use 5kg of sugar in a month 🤔 i struggle to use one every six months 😂😂 x
Thank you! 😊 I thought I did pretty well too! So I did say pork chops 🤦♀️😂 I didn't catch that. I think it's about a month, there are four of us and everyone drinks cups of tea and coffee, family that visit all have 2 teaspoons in coffee also, it just goes 😂 xx

Thank you ❤️
Don't buy the time out bars in Ireland, they are now €2.45 for the 6 pack.
Oh wow! The prices are crazy, I mostly shop the offers on things like that just so we can still have bits as treats 😊
