- Here's our families meals for this week. We've had some really simple but tasty meals this week. It's always nice when you can serve budget friendly dinners for your family without having to spend hours in the kitchen! Hope this video gives you some inspiration and ideas for yourself.

A good brand of Thai and Asian pastes is Mae Ploy, they're sold in Tubs and keep in the fridge for months. Hot Thai Kitchen on TH-cam does a lot of dishes. Good way to start is to cook off the paste with some coconut milk until the milk fats separate. ( Lidl's one is the best ). Don't shake the can before opening as the milk is thick at the top it's what you want. Add the rest of the milk and the chicken and cook. A good thing to add 5 mins before the end is green beans, shaved carrots or both.

Meaks look nice. Glad your daughter enjoyed the thai green curry. Ive not had packet mash fir ages , ive got some in the cupboard, i bouggt it months ago thought be good as a stand by in case i ran put of potatoes!! I quite like paclet mash, you xcam really jazz it up with other flavours. I love a bowl of soup with mash potatoes at the bottom, soup on top!! Or am i just weird!!,😊 hope yout hospital appointment went well.

It was really good that she was happy to give it another go, and even better that she liked it 😊 It's not what I'd choose but my husband has real issues with mash and god forbid there should be a lump! 😂 You have to add salt and pepper and a fair amount of butter to that one to make it taste okay. Haha I can't say I've ever tried that! No, I wouldn't say you're weird, we all have our 'things'! Thank you x
@@Withinabudget I've got a potato ricer & that makes lovely mash, absolutely no lumps. Juat makes the mash so smooth & silky. But I dint mind normal mash, mashed with a potato masher but that's hard work!

@@Withinabudget I had 1 years ago but when we moved I couldn't find ot. But I got mine from a charity shop!! Them went in poundland &cthey had them in there nit expensive a few quid . Definable worth getting 1
