I have felt the same way in the past about buying food for myself. When you say it out loud you realise how silly it sounds because you make sure everyone else gets fed but then you question feeding yourself with those thoughts of 'i should just have a sandwich' but honestly you have to think about it like the oxygen mask idea, you have to put your own oxygen mask on before you can help anyone else because if you can't breathe you can't save anyone else. If you aren't eating what your body needs to be healthy and function to your best, how can you look after anyone else in the family. Do not feel any guilt for eating healthy nutritious food. Your body needs the protein you are taking care of yourself :)

Always look after yourself, don’t feel guilty. I used to feel a little guilty spending money on foods just for me and would prioritize the family food rather than just food specific to me. Now I budget it in and don’t think twice about it, they’re older now and I don’t always want to eat the same as my kids and have different dietary preferences and needs too. Loving your grocery hauls!

I look out for them when they are half price. Got an 80 pack the other week for $25
