Instant regret when collecting these Aldi Too Good To Go Surprise bags!!!

- For the first time, I decided to reserve 2 Aldi Too Good To Go Surprise Bag's or Magic Bag's if you still use that phase. As soon as I saw them I felt instant regret! They were amazing surprise bags however, it was too much for us! I'll be sticking with only one from now on! These were great boxes! 📦 To be completely honest with you, it is very much like that sometimes! 😂 I do really like that it gets you trying different things that you wouldn't normally buy though 😊 x
Had to laugh as I’ve made exactly the same mistake!!!! However our neighbours have benefited and are very grateful so nothing wasted. My freezers are stuffed so I might have to miss out on a couple of TGTG bags to get through it, serves me right!
😂 Yay, it's not just me that's done it then! 🙌 My neighbour was exactly the same, she loves it when I pass things over 😄 which in turn makes me feel good to!

Swede and carrot stew can be delicious. It also cans and freezes well.
You may have to borrow a cauldron from a neighborhood witch for those quantities.

Fantastic 2 boxes you got there Paula OK, so both the same, but yes you can freeze hummus, & I would also freeze the stir fry veg mix. The carrots/ swede I know there's a lot but if you have a big freezer you can do a lot with those. You don't have to apologise for getting 2 bags as lot of food etc, it's not going to waste, your passing some on, even if you weren't it's not going in the bin. The meats also freeze well if something is on offer 1 week but i don't need it right away I get it whack it in freezer. Oh I also love egg custards / hummus. I've made hummus mash , that's so nice . Spread it inntop of chicken breasts then baked in the oven, that's delicious. I know you've got lot of pots to get through but you coukd also maybe just empty the tubs into smaller containers to freeze then nit so daunting getting a big tub out when u may not use it all at once. Great little haul there

The stirfry mix I gave to my neighbour, I wasn't sure it'd freeze well, but that's great to know for the future! I did feel bad given how much food there was, but you're right, it's not been wasted at all. I didn't think I liked egg custard tarts, but I actually tried one, and they were very nice 😋 x

I have seen chicken fillets coated in a thin layer of hummus then coated in either breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes then baked in the oven.
Thank you, I put two in the freezer, so maybe we'll have to give this a try 😊

That a big table Easter feast! It's just a matter of giving away Humus,extra carrots and extra Swedes. Perhaps you know some one who has Guinea Pigs or Rabbits who will welcome the extras. I am not a fan of Humus. I do think you can freeze it. I am eggs cited about the egg custards. It makes a yummy treat with tea. I hope you had a lovely Easter.

Shreded carrot salad and coleslaw, cattot juice if you have a juicer, and bake some of the carrots with the potatoes and swede, and carrot soup!

@@Withinabudget yes I have heard that about the UK weather🙂… except the 4.8 earthquake we experienced yesterday was scary! This part of the US rarely has an earthquake. We had 4 more aftershocks and it was frightening to feel the ground under me shake. Our pup was terrified and hasn’t been right since. As always enjoy your posts!
