    thank you Sir! I have done this today 100% identical , including the "resistor box". my sensor is open circuit, I have both signal + reference 5v, sens. connected. very pleased to see the video , all the best!

    Hi do I need to clear the code once I replace the sensor? Thanks

    • @rmautodiag
      @rmautodiag  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I cleared the codes before starting but it may run without doing this and just leave the engine light on.

    Hello I’ve got a similar fault with my 2004 Renault trafic 1.9 van will turn over but not fire up then engine stop light starts flashing watched your video and tested fuel pressure rail sensor connector and loom but not getting any voltage with it disconnected is it likely to be the ecu faulty? Many thanks

    • @rmautodiag
      @rmautodiag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check to see if there is voltage at the ecu on the feed. Have you also confirmed the earth on the sensor? This will also give you chance to check continuity of the wires. Thanks for the comment👍

    Amazing video. Thats the exact same thing as mine im 100% sure its the sensor but i cant for life of me find a Fuel pressure sensor for a Vivaro CDTI 1.9 53 plate.

    Why does the voltage drop-disappear when connected? I have a Volvo v70 d5 and every time I connect the fuel pressure control valve to the connector 8v disappears. At first, I thought that the connector wiring was bad but it wasn't. Right now basically when the ignition is turned ON the valve stays shut because there's no voltage when the sensor is plugged in.

    I got a 2002 combo 1.7dti.. starts great but if left for a few days or a week it struggles to start it will start eventually after pumping the throttle pedal... could this be the fuel rail sensor????

    2003 vivaro 1.9 confused... just removed wiper stalk looked it over put back van dont start turns over does not fire up glow plug lights do not illuminate checked fuses wiring 70 amp fuse at bonnet checked gloplugs injectors done many checks crank shaft sensor replaced got the voltage like you on the fuel sensor when plugged in i have tried continuity between fuel sensors 3 pins while still in the rail and not had a bleep so would you say its the sensor???? i heard that maybe the solenoid open and close switch on the high fuel pump may be stuck in closed position im lost please help

    Does anyone know where this component is in the 2009 2.0ltr vivaro engine ? It’s not the same engine as the earlier one ? Thanks

    Nicely done. Have you ever come across a Renault Traffic 1.9 that starts but wont rev when its warmed up. All of the mechanics I have seen in Devon, including the the dealership cannot diagnose the problem.

    • @rmautodiag
      @rmautodiag  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Injectors used to give problems with no revving for 10 seconds after startup.

    • @prawny12009
      @prawny12009 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maf sensor can cause non revving issues often with no fault codes.

    Same issue, new sensor and I still get 5v on signal wire! just purchased that decade box. Any idea why the signal wire still shows 5v??

      Wrong sensor ? Happened to me , you could compare the resistance readings between the pins ?

    I've got a similar problem on my 2005 Trafic 1.9, i'm on my second fuel rail pressure sensor now, the last one said the fuel pressure was incredibly high, despite there being zero pressure and the latest one is only reading 0.38v and drops one cranking... I've just ordered another to see if i've just been unlucky and bought duff sensors; hope so 🥲

    Got a strange one, got p1822-0a fuel pressure solonoid valve circuit low input (getting 8v) and p0191/p1882-09 fuel rail pressure sensor range/performance.
    The pump solonoid has a very submit buzz when the ignition is turned on.
    P1885-0d replace control unit
    P1826-0b how device circuit general error.
    Van cut out and won't restart on its own but will start and idle if you stand pumping the primer bulb on the fuel filter.
