      They all are very unique in their own way. It depends what goals you want to achieve. Personally I would recommend Primerica due to their future and present goals. Though, do the due diligence on your research. Good luck to your dream brother!

      I'd say try to get connected with people who are doing big things in the industry as quickly as possible. Find a mentor and learn as much as you can.

    Hey cody im about to become a life insurance agent. I live in a small town in Southern ohio away from any big cities. Be brutally honest with me, am I going to have a hard time making it?

      You can do it virtually !! A lot of agents know use zoom & social media. It’s good to network too when you can, but you’d be surprised what social media & referrals could do!

    Cody, great content here but I do have a question. I don't see how the objection of " I need to talk to my ___________" is addressed here in this training. I'm sure this person wrote alot of business, but I was looking and listening for that specific objection rebuttal and I don't see it. Clients can and do always use this out card when they don't want to move forward. Even with the 3 option close based on their own answers, they can still use it to put off a decision. Maybe I missed it, but I have watched it several times. Peace.

      When you set your appointments let them know part of your process requires them both to be there, that an important decision like this is always best when they are together

    What things in this presentation change if you are captive?

      Your not able to give them options , with captive you usually can only pitch about their product and quotes can’t be changed that much in a captive environment unless you manipulate it, or what I’ve seen from some experience.. independent you are contracted with multiple carriers, so instead of writing for just gerber, you can write for gerber, national life, Allianz , Omaha etc

    How about paying $50 for term insurance & invest the $250 a month for 30 years at 10% ROR They will end up with $520,000 ... better than $100k dont you agree ??

      Yeah that’s what’s an IUL is! But some people would like some coverage at least if within the budget, and then as their personal agent you can analyze Bc their needs and affordability might change in 5 years so you could convert it due to a better benefit for the client

    the best way to sell life insurance is to stop SLANGIN' life insurance. Make it a part of an overall portfolio mix and you'll be a professional as opposed to a SALES PERSON
