My mum was the only daughter with 4 brothers and when she married my dad they couldn't conceive for 7 years. Finally I was born and they stopped the race at the track to announce my birth "Dan Donovan got a granddaughter!" Well, Allah decreed that I would detest gambling and I've never even bought a lottery ticket😂 Nanas maiden name was Portella, And as we know, names ending in ella or alla especially Latino based names were Muslim.

Because the Quran is in Arabic and at least you should learn to recite Chapter 1 of the Quran in Arabic which is very short and it’s obligatory for your prayer and gradually learn some short verses and you will be good to go no rush .
