I can’t remember my level, it was pretty high tho. All I did was go to the colleges, steal stuff from the shop keepers and then sell it back to them and kill stragglers. I had a buttload of money, powerful weapons and armor. Up until I let my cousin play the game, i told him to not leave the town because it’ll mess up my save. Homeboy murdered my wife and the whole damn population of Solitude, walked out the main doors to commit more genocide. And boom, auto save. I gave up instantly

But after that save i had did a lot of more quests and had a lot of gear and money. So the autosave is what was helping me after that. Until these events lmao

Daniel Blair The big mods are gone. There will likely never be more big mods. Theres a few reasons it seems. 1, Would be moving on to Fallout 4. Which alot of modders seem to have done. Not to mention that Regular Skyrim mods dont work on Skyrim SE so everything has to be converted and all, splitting up the Modders. It also seems that some modders refuse to make more mods and straight up remove their work due to the console mods release which i think is absolutely childish. But yeah, small mods will always keep coming out. But i highly doubt that more Falskaar-like projects are releasing in the future. And those were the best kind of mods. Mods that add quality adventures. Which there arené even that many of in the first place. So no, i dnt think that the modding community will bring me back.

That's after 4 or more hours of searching through mods, making sure they all work, starting a game vanilla and getting to the character customization screen, exiting the game, enabling your mods, and then the 15 or so minutes of the tutorial.
Then you realize that you are absolutely fucking spent after beating it the 10 times prior and realize you're really not in the mood to grind it again so you just cheat. That's how it goes for me anyway
I'm a 62 year old gamer. I love this game. I'm about to replay it for the 4th time. Thanks for the info be sure just for the fun of it to look for these and try them. As for the book, knew about it as I'm sure everyone else did who had played the game. Of all my games even if not the hardest, this is one I love the most. Yet I still play my play station games as well. Since it has games the Xbox doesn't. I like some if the older games which I still play and still replay them as well. The new games are great but the classics are still great games and worth not forgetting and still while worth playing. I play the single person not on line even if they are fun to play. I have played Anarchy Online on and off since its release, think it was 2001. Talked to a player there who was 67 :) Am 52 myself now, and will never stop playing. AO and Skyrim are 2 of my favorites, along Fallout 4 and Borderland 2. Keep on playing if it makes you happy :D

I think the only secret that most people don't know about is how op Clear Sky really is. I'm serious. Most people think it only changes the weather, but if you've ever used it in combat, you would know that it actually staggers all the enemies around you. On top of that, the cool down is incredibly fast. You can pretty much chain cc everything around you. That, my friends, is how you ruin the game for yourself.
Clear sky + windshear = stagger god
I found out about that and I forgot that I had clear skies equipped and not unrelenting Force
It can also be used in surprising places. It works in Blackreach, the Soul Cairn, and some other caves that count as being "outside" and have fog or some other weather overlaid to create a desired effect. Makes traveling through those areas so much easier once it's clear

I could argue and say that the intention is that the 10 facts combined will make you want to replay Skyrim. Though I do agree that Mammoths and Ants doesn't really have any effect at all.
Some corrections.
1. Ivory not ebony.
2. The level up screen is supposed to match the sovngarde sky. Right down to the clouds being the same. It isn’t just a coincidence it has reasoning behind it.
3. Other characters in the game can use dragon shouts. While the dragonborn is probably the only person dumb enough to use it on fish, other people could do the same.

Now for all us PC players who got the game for free, this video is merely supplying incentive to replay the game. It looks pretty, the base game is still attractive so long as you remember to try new things, and again, it's fukkin free! Quit bitching. If Bethesda really wanted to make some money off everyone, they would have charged Steam owners for it as well.
And honestly it could very well be a paid thing for console simply because there's no sure-fire way of confirming that's *your* game you brought into Game Stop for a free copy of SKSE. They surely weren't going to lose money in the deal.

That's actually the opposite for me. I tend to go stealth archer route even if I want to be a frontline warrior type.
Ragdolling people from afar in the dark is just too fun for me.
I always wound up going stealth archer until I decided to play again last week after a few years. I finally went pure mage (no armor, only bound weapons if at all) like I've wanted to since Oblivion. I forced myself to stick with it and I'm actually really enjoying it. Yet I still tend to sneak around all the time.
capz Same here, I've tried almost every combination of characters. In the Special Edition I'm going either Sneak Archer Werewolf or Pure Mage Vampire Lord.
Yeah, i know, i do the same. Though this time i managed to convince myself to actually try a shield, and holy shit, i'm really good at sheild-sword combos!
This game brought me so much happiness. I was into oblivion before it came out so I was pumped for it.
I have the original Skyrim. Level 200 now. All skills legendary. What else to do? Oblivion was my first open world game. Loved to rob the farmhouse just north of Anvil for kicks.

When it came out, I played as magician, years later when game got fixes and DLC's I played as archer... Literally played it twice from start and enjoyed it. I played skyrim so long after main story I knew like 80% of these secrets.

I couldn't play it again after killed a chicken with my bow then whole game was after me.
Majestic spook exactly I killed a chicken in river wood then Delphine was after me after I met her for a quest near a different city
I feel ya I killed a chicken in my first play through with an ice spike everyone got mad so I tried resurrecting it. Of course they were still mad but even worse the ice spike dealt damage to whatever the chicken touched with it. And it was my follower so it kept killing me. An worst of all no matter what I did it wouldn't die.

the pickaxe lets you mine more gems, than a regular one, but less than the pickaxes for stalhrim.

diamonds and rubies. also a reference. but as soon as you got the 24stones of barenziah, and with that the paragon of the thieves guild, you will be drowning in gems, so its only nice for the first 50 lvls. (also if your smithing is high enough and you went to sanguines shrine (3 respawning daedra and their hearts), you will have tons of daedric armor/weapons to sell for up to 18k an item, so thats nonsense as well.

If ur the boss you should be treated like the boss u should send others on missions and choose whether or not to go with them

SOME DUDE just bought it on ps3 for the vanilla console experience. PC ver has too many mods and i have to reinstall it to get it working
You could have gotten special edition if you wanted the vanilla experience. It's even free on steam if you have the original. (Might need the dlcs too, not sure)

Just started playing Skyrim again after a year or so of finishing up a character build. Love this game so much I think it is my fourth time buying it after breaking the discs and just getting the digital download of it. Great video, never noticed the mammoth tusk thing that was cool

+Billy Rigby in the Forgotten Vale from the Dawnguard DLC. You need to find the Ruby Paragon (IDR where it is) and use it on the portal thing to get to the area (It's a snowy forest area. Head through the forest and Kill the enemies then loot the shield from one of the corpses. It is called Auriels Shield and is white.
Billy Rigby It's in a hidden room in the Inner Sanctum (Quest: Touching the Sky). You open the room with the intiate's ewer.

The reaper was pretty disappointing. Basically a jacked up draugr. You don't even get anything interesting from it.

Fun fact. The Notched Pickaxe actually IS NOT a reference to minecraft. It is a reference to a dead female mountain climber found on Mt. Everest. The only thing found with her was a pickaxe with several notches it, indicating the number of mountains she had successfully climbed.

I will always love Skyrim. When I first got a Xbox 360, in 2013, after many years of either playing on a Wii or a Playstation 1, I finally managed to get this game. When I first got it, I've never seen better graphics, so this game just looked so beautiful to me. It was breathtaking, feeling so immersed in a video game for the first time. I've got over a thousand hours on it now, spreaded over a dozen of characters, each different from one another.
Also this remaster will have mods...Nyehyehyeh...The peoples of Skyrim are gonna be sooo screwed!
Even on pc, with the limitless mods, the potential for fun is even higher

it's just an easteregg. none of these were new to me, but im so boring, i even read most of the books -.-' also the pickaxe lets you mine more gems(diamonds and rubies), than usual.

The pickaxe 'easter egg' was actually put in as an apology to Notch when him and Bethesda had a copyright war regarding the use of the word 'Scrolls' between games, they're cool now
Knew most of these already... but I also already knew that I want to play Skyrim immediately regardless.
I'll occasionally get a random urge to play skyrim but everytime I seem to get bored within 30 minutes. Every once in a while I'll get sucked in for like 2-3 hours but then won't touch it again for like 2 months.

All I do to continuously enjoy skyrim is by not playing it for a long time then come back to it. Every time I do this, I discover something new that I didn't see the last playthrough. The greatest thing about skyrim is how open and free it is. You just never really know what you'll uncover. Even just finding every book in the game and learning the history and lore is worth the time.

Many people get this reference wrong. The notched pickaxe is not a minecraft reference. There was a person that climbed to the top of Mount everest and dissapeared and all that was left was a notched pickaxe. Hence why it is at the very top of the throat of the world.

Follow Ralof into Helgen Keep and get the key before he does, he'll wait for you to open the gate so you get two Imperial Swords (or one and an Iron Axe) and you sneak up and hit him with both, four-five minutes later you have Level 50 Sneak Skill

Or actually, to be fair, iirc only like 10% of an ebony tree is fully black, or 1 in every 10 trees or so. "Blonde ebony" isn't as desirable, as it's basically maple with black stripes and/or spots. Also ebony has become super rare because of its extensive use in furniture, instruments and other woodwork.

Not the same thing as the potions mentioned though. She left decent potions for the murder, so why would she place the health potions in a bunch of spots you sometimes can't even walk to and then not tell you?
