Prestige rank Block, to keep getting level xp, by getting massive xp to Block. Eventually, Smith God's own personal axe and use the literal touch of death to merc the Ebony Warrior. Turn around and show the guy he was blocking that attempting to walk away was mercy, not fear, by killing him expeditiously. I know I missed finer details, but did I catch the broad strokes?
@@CaitiffFTWthe reason i became a vampire is because the superstacking glitch only works with certain combinations of races/items. khajiit vampire (which the game considers a different race from khajiit) can superstack with gold rings, which is why i grab the gold ingots

Bethesda thought they were smart when getting rid of the old leveling mechanics from oblivion where only the number of times you did X mattered to level skills, well little did they know tying it to damage taken/dealt (heavy/light armor, blocking, one and two handed and archery) or the value of things (smithing, alchemy, speech) that it'd totally break the balancing lol. This is why enchanting is a pain in the ass to level because you can't simply pop a fortify enchanting by 100,000% potion and do an enchant, it only gives you the progress for one regular enchant regardless of the value of the item or enchantment strength.
@@Azure_faethey were smart. They made a much better leveling system that’s more fun to play. The “balancing” is fine for the 99.99% of people playing the game normally.

"wtf is going on" well i'll tell you most skyrim speedruns are played as high elf, but i need to play as a khajiit and become a vampire because khajiit vampire (which the game considers a different race from khajiit) is able to do superstacking with gold rings, which only works with a few specific race/item combinations. superstacking is when i click the enchanted gold ring repeatedly and the fortify alchemy bonus keeps adding up. here's a very cool explanation: th-cam.com/video/e-DeXia4LL8/w-d-xo.html at the very beginning i do infinite sprint. hold sprint/quicksave/release sprint key/quickload in succession locks you into the sprint animation, and allows jumping while sprinting. also, whenever i go through a door or fast travel, i can quicksave and quickload right after the loading screen to cause the fadein animation to skip. quicksave/quickloading can also be used to skip npc dialogue like in most skyrim speedruns, i instantly escape helgen to go to a cave exit where i can perform a loadwarp that allows me to escape with my hands unbound. unlike in most skyrim speedruns, however, i don't go to the helgen keep exit and instead go to haemar's shame, because i can become a vampire there. loadwarping is the thing i'm doing when i open the menu while going into the cave, it allows me to load the save where my hands are unbound, while going through the cave, so that i become the character with unbound hands but i'm inside the cave then i do a horse tilt to fly past windhelm, to an island with gold ingots that i need to make the gold rings in the windhelm market, i do the merchant glitch to sell the merchant's own inventory to themselves, which gives me all the gold i need, and if they don't have an item i need, i can quicksave then attack them and quickload to reset their inventory. when i enchant a gold ring with fortify alchemy, then i can equip an unenchanted gold ring and then repeatedly press the enchanted gold ring. because the gold ring is bugged with khajiit vampires, the game *tries* to equip it, but can't, but i get the fortify alchemy bonus anyway, and it stacks every time i equip it but this alone isn't fast enough to get sufficiently powerful effects, so i speed it up with intermittent fortify resto potions once i can make a super fortify smithing potion, i can give a super smithed weapon to stenvar (and myself), drink a super fortify health potion so that i actually survive his attacks, and let his superpowered attacks level my block and heavy armor skills from 15 to 100 instantly i'll stream attempts to get sub-10 soon, follow twitch.tv/nucular_sr

Someone did the glitchless version and it was about 1 hour and 15 minutes and 20 minutes was them looking at a bed spamming muffle and 20 minutes was them spamming the illusion master spells
Doesn’t the destruction exploit work a little better? All you gotta do is get Unbounded Storms, go to a corner of the map, activate the spell, open the map, travel to the other side and you go straight from 15 to 90-100 instantly.
I like to imagine that all the NPC's in Helgen including Alduin just stopped everything they were doing and just stare at the dragonborn going ballistic.
Its proof that nothing is sped up, its easy to just put it on afterwards but not many people who put in the time to speed run would fake it thats next level sad

I cheesed this fight, and I bet anyone with level 40 destruction can do the same thing. The impact perk staggers most enemies with dual casting, so I just stun locked the EW before he could swing his sword. A cheap win, but a win.
Sorry if you do get this part, or don’t care to know, but he used what’s known as the fortify restoration loop to create an incredibly strong potion to fortify smithing. That potion is how he enhanced those steel weapons to near 400 damage. He also made a fortify health potion when using the fortify restoration loop. That potion gave him the health to absorb hits from the steel weapons he just improved. He gave one of those weapons to his follower, angered his follower, and blocked his blows to near instantly level up his skills to 100. He then reset the level 100 skills so he could level them up again and get all the experience he just got, again.

I've been playing Skyrim over having a normal social life since it game out and have done some questionable things in the game to my advantage but this hurt my brain and I love it. Editing this comment after finishing the video and bravo is all I can say rant I'm at a lose for words.
I thought about that, but would be slower for two reasons: * When wearing both light and heavy armor, when you get hit, either one skill or the other will get raised, and it’s random. It’s not even 50/50, it’s in proportion to how much each contributes to your armor rating. So whichever contributes less to your armor rating, it may take a large number of hits before that skill randomly gets raised to 100. * Light armor is far away in the skill tree from block and heavy armor, which are conveniently right next to each other, so that would take a lot of scrolling
I used to casually run skyrim any% like 4 years ago and seeing these newer strats is so cool. Talking with the guard while sharpening the weapons is an awesome optimisation. Horse tilts are torture fr, but I feel like with better luck on those you'd save a fair bit of time with that alone. Saw a comment saying you were aiming for sub 10 and I think that seems doable with your strats. This run is great and best of luck achieving that goal!
