Very well done video. Kreia’s monologues are incredibly therapeutic and helped me understand some nuanced lessons about the complexity of life (The Force). She’s been like a mentor and teacher to me during dark times of my life. This video perfectly encapsulates that experience for me once again. Thank you for this
I just love how this video feels disturbed. That's the best way I can describe it. And I just love it and Kreia always adds depth to Star Wars whenever she goes. Literally everything and anything she says can be broadly applied to any age of star wars. Perhaps even other fiction? I'd think so. Where we get to more broad views of morality and action or inaction.
What sets kreia above and beyond the minute accomplishments of the Jedi order is her deeply intuitive curiosity to understand the totality of the force. No other force weilder has ever been so close, even palpatine is leagues behind her. Curious that NO ONE has ever been shown to master the teachings of kreia... Because if a grey jedi master were ever allowed to form a council, it would be so truly counterintuitive to the dogmas of both order and sith alike, that both would seek its destruction, and wars fought on two battlefronts are seldom ever won. Thus the convictions taught are detrimental to both houses, and it is possible Rian Johnson had this in mind in his portrayal of Luke, but for all his talk about subversion of source material, he and his characterization of Luke did NOT go far ENOUGH. He could have made a great story if he had told more of it, and followed the character to his conclusion of the philosophy of grey jedi, but instead it was a hamfisted underwhelming story with the underdeveloped elements of a great one. TL;DR knives out is better
Kreias teaching is not grey Jedi... shocked how little people understand kreias and her teachings, both she and Jolee bindo discuss this topic, Jolee is far more blunt and direct about grey Jedi. Grey Jedi are the worst of both worlds in a sense, with the force there is no middle ground between light and dark you would know this if you actually played the games and listened to what is being said. Atris is what most "grey" Jedi eventually become, I get why people think this way they see that hack fraud Dave filoni add the bindu character in rebels and think grey Jedi is a thing and can work in canon.... it doesn't. Besides Jedi and sith is a belief and kreia says. And no revan was not a grey Jedi either, he was a Jedi then became a sith lord then redeemed back to being a "Jedi" for a time. However, revan didn't fit the bill for what one would call a real Jedi after his redemption, while he straddled the line he wasn't a "grey Jedi" he had the willpower to resist the dark side so long as he cut himself off from all attachments which is what he ended up doing when he left to go after the sith emperor.
Also yeah no the last Jedi was shit, you cannot take a beloved character like Luke and bastardize him like Ryan did without SHOWING the events as they happen that cause this drastic change in personality. You cannot skip 30+ years then tell us he changed it's bad writing and it's a huge cop out
Her understanding was for naught because she still chose the Sith and raised an existential threat to the galaxy so horrible she had to enlist the Exile, a broken Jedi, to clean up her mess - which included herself. There's nothing wrong with "knowing" the Dark Side to gain an understanding of it, as Yoda's training to become a Force Spirit and Luke's entering the Cave of Evil show, but allowing it to become you is a higher order of recklessness that the Jedi are right to want to avoid. Kreia is not a "grey Jedi", she's an old woman who's too prideful to admit with her chest that she got way in over her head and needs help. She's not discouraging the Jedi path, nor did she want them destroyed. She only wanted them to admit they were wrong about the Mandalorians, wrong about Revan, wrong about the Exile and wrong about her. But for all her wanting the Jedi to show their vaunted humility, she conflated knowledge with wisdom and just became spiteful and alone, never humble enough to admit that *she* was wrong. Her philosophy is intriguing to listen to, but it ultimately leads you nowhere except back to yourself - at which point you'll probably be much closer to the Dark Side than you realize.
TLJ had such potential... if only its director had not been so enamored with himself that he refused to make it truly matter. To learn from his mistakes and legitimate criticisms would have made the sequels so much more...
Thank you! I wanted to use this song as I felt it fit for the tone I wanted to go with. Something dark ambient like is what I was going for and Atrium Carceri has some great music.
Am I the only one that finds Kreia narrations and her philosophies extremely therapeutic?
No i just need to pass the time
Lol why would you even think you could be the only one? How narcissistic
@@ninvusoogoar6098Who shat in your coffee?
@@currangill430 no one, just a very weird and narcissistic thing to say let alone type.
@@ninvusoogoar6098 Its just a vommon saying dude. "Am I the only one..." but it's not narcissitic I grew up with two parents who were.
Its incredible Kreia's philosophy can even be proven the skywalker saga. Proof enough she is the one that best understands the force.
I love Kreia's perspective of redemption. In so many pieces of fiction, redemption is paired with death. It is as she says, "A fall few recover from"

Kreia is the greatest, best written character ever made
Totally
The algorithm's whims are fickle, my friend, but hold firm. I feel a sea change.
It seems your feeling was off

Severely underrated
When the madness of this world gets to me, Kreia brings peace
Dear lord, this is amazing. The quotes, music, cuts, everything is on point. I must share it right now. Everyone needs to see this !
mommy gf kreia explaining how to lvl up LS/DS alignment.
I’m just a simple man (trying to make my way in the universe) - I see these Kreia dialogue videos, I watch.
Fingers crossed for a KOTOR 2 remake 😊
Not a fan of associating kotor with the Disney trash but was a good collection of kreia quotes
Fair enough, and thank you.
Amazing paralleles. You deserve so much more views.

Homie simply ain't Chris Avellone

Truly a great video
Great job 👍
Whoah this is soo good but not found by people
Beautiful and Disturbing
Thank you!
Bro imagine if the sequels were as good as the prequels or Kotor 1 or 2, that would’ve been so good
Beautiful. Well done.
Powerful
Excellent work
at 1:39 I literally have tears...

Every new Star wars film I´ve seen is full of shit. Kotor was true masterpiece, rest is just slap in face withnout meaning or proper thought.
Wow images and lines are really on point but i think that with the right soundtrack this wuold be perfect.Still a great job!

Why is Jake Skywalker in this video?
@@cbake5641 because despite my disinterest in the Sequels, I did find the scenes to have some interesting elements that could be used for edits.
KOTOR2 The Greatest (or one of the Greatest SW Games Period.
A teacher.
This video just reminds me how much i hate the last jedi. What a waste of a movie that was
It could have been do good...
And yet it was entirely mediocre at best, a tragic failure.
