As Jedi Master Arren Kae, she trained her greatest pupil, who would one day go on to become one of the most infamous Sith Lords in history. This, some would say, was a failure.
As Darth Traya, Sith Lord of Betrayal, she failed to foresee or prevent her own betrayal at the hands of her two apprentices-Darths Sion and Nihilus. This, some would say, was a failure.
As Kreia, an aged and wise Force user wandering the galaxy, she mentored a Jedi exile who, under her care, regained a lost connection to the Force, would go on to surpass the surviving Jedi Masters, defeated her former apprentices in battles of both might and will, trained a new generation of Lost Jedi, surpass and defeat herself as Darth Traya once more, silence the Force echo of Malachor V that threatened to destroy all life, and, at last, to follow the footsteps of Revan into the Unknown Regions, when all else failed to do so.
This, none could say, was a failure.

Arguably the greatest sin in video game history was the time crunch forced upon Obsidian to release KOTOR2 without fully fleshing out and completing its content/story arcs. Even with that content cut, it remains one of the best and my personal favorite RPG of all time. Deliverance comes to those who appeal to their truest Self. Death comes the slowest, for those who most fear it.

I always thought the line "to be united by hatred is a fragile alliance at best" was incredibly profound, given how quickly people are to dogpile the "villains" of the world and are held together by little else in come cases. And then this "alliance" collapses once the object of their hatred is gone and begins to cannibalize itself.

From the Sith of old to Plagueis and Vader, to Revan again to Kreia.
I love videos like these, they are pure distilled Star Wars. If you are interested, start at the Dreams of an Empire clip.

So glad this popped up in my recommended! Kreia DEFINITELY taught me things at a young age that no school or person ever did. To observe. To question. To understand. To perceive the ripples of the actions that lead to a moment, and the ripples that will follow...Then to do it all again from an opposing perspective, even at the possible cost of defying your own personal logic. But it's worth it, as you come to a wider, more encompassing, more informed perspective.
There's no doubt that playing SWTOR and paying careful attention to her character is what lead me to be so interested in philosophy, candor, and various schools of Buddhist thought ^^!

I think after the transition into the films it would be more visually impressive if you recount Palpatine’s rise to power, from the GAR assembling in the end of AotC, to the battle of Coruscant, the declaration of the New order etc etc, and keep it there for the rest of the video, and instead of Malak have Sidious or Vader say something, it would just look a bit more consistent. I would like to think if Kotor 3 was made properly and pure the themes and general endgame plot playing with it would fit Kreia's objective reasons why she hated the Force and actually make her right.
You see after watching alot of videos surrounding Kreia, stories like the Star Wars vs Warhammer 40k fan story by AFanWithTooMuchTime, and cosmic horror beings like Abeloth being a nexus to both the light side & dark side I would like to imagine what Kotor 3 would have brought to the table the true threat beyond even the Ancient Sith could have been a powerful abstract entity/deity either a dark side entity or a eldritch being from outside both the regular dark side & light side but a being that is a vassal to the Force's will that demands certain things to happen during certain points to bring so called balance.
Something powerful enough to even Celestials fear it.
A force of destruction that would awaken in cycles to slowly become more active when the galaxy reaches a certain point and start a age chaos, war, and destruction.
If needed capable of distorting reality and dimensions to bring so called equilibrium then after it's job is finished it goes back into a physical stumbling state to await the next time the Force's will demands it. While in this state it silently influences things and beings in the background creating antithesis factions so the Force's Will is satisfied.
The deity itself being powerful and influential enough to keep all the True Sith in line and willingly loyal and revere it. Through both fear and love. True Sith who may be more powerful then Darth Nihilus individually.
That is how I would like to think it. It would validate Kreia even more about the Force as a whole. The proof the Force is not truthful and manipulates individuals both directly and indirectly so to keep it's own twisted exalted agenda it wants enforced at the expense of individuals.
Making a Wound in the Force nessesary against this being to atleast get it out of commission. To then partially deny the Force's Will by stopping what this being intends to bring.

I think the hugest thing to take away from Kreia's story, is that it's not nearly enough to be knowledgable and an expert. We see time and again she's nothing short of a master of both Jedi and Sith techniques, but her fatal flaw?
On a fundamental level, she's so set in her ways that she just *cannot* connect with people. Even in her outright devotion to the Exile, there's always that underlying jealousy that the exile barely even has to try to see eye to eye with members of their party.
