      @@AliZurix i was about to say it . i highly doubt he will come back got a big hit when they kicked him from the band without reason at all .
      People should think to the impact of their actions on other people life .
      The funny thing was that everybody was a alcohol and drugs addict but the only one kicked out for that was him .
      that choice make even less sense now that unluckily alexi laiho died cuz drink himself to death .
      Really a one bad ending for one of my favorite death metal band .

    As for when it comes to the gear that produces these sounds, their racks have the following:
    Roope:
    Rocktron Hush IICX
    Lee Jackson GP-1000
    Alesis Quadraverb
    VHT 2902 (old version. Similar to the 2150 that was virtually in every metal band's rack late 80's, early 90's, including Megadeth. Both have KT-88 tubes for massive headroom, this one was just 2 rack units instead of 4)
    Alexi:
    Lee Jackson GP-1000
    Rocktron Intellifex (old blackface)
    Rocktron Velocity 250
    EDIT: Roope's unit wasn't just basic Hush, but a multiunit from Rocktron that hasHush and Expander too.

      I have to disagree in part. If you look at the basics, Roope was the more well-rounded guitarplayert of the two. But the fluidity of Alexi's staccato was completely off the charts. Being able to play like that, at his age, that was rare. The amount of creativity he put into that at the same time.... he was the more talented guitarist, even if Roope had a more clean technique

    • @tylorcaruth
      @tylorcaruth 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MichaelHolmgaard Yeah, Both are amazing but i can see how 2 iconic guitarists can really get at each other. Roope even said Alexi began to look down on him. Who knows the whole story but i don't find it too hard to believe

    • @MichaelHolmgaard
      @MichaelHolmgaard 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@tylorcaruth It can't have been easy for Alexi. He peaked so early, and when you can no longer squeez in 3 hours of practice every day, you will start losing that speed and precision - Something which Alexi utilized so well in his day. Perhaps it was all due to Alexander leaving the band? Alexi seemed to be very close with him
