Alexi's music touched and inspired countless guitar players around the world, and his legacy will live on in their playing. We figured that our little community was a fitting showcase of Alexi's influence on the global metal scene. Hopefully this tribute can bring people some of the same joy that Alexi's playing did. It was an honour my friends, to make this collaboration with you all, it is an honor being a fan of Alexi Laiho and this was, is and will be the ultimate event for all of us. Thanks for making me part of this and congrats to all of you amazing guitar players, you nailed every solo from the master himself and what a treasure to have met this incredible guy that changed our lives forever for the good. It was an once in a lifetime experience, not only to play in the same stage as my idol ,but to meet with some excellent people and excellent musicians which otherwise wouldn't,i cherish those memories and i hope one day we will be able to meet again
Speaking as a COB fan, I just want to thank everyone who helped make this video. I don't think I have to explain to anyone else what it was like to hear of his completely unexpected (at least to me) passing at the age of just 41, at the end of 2020, of all years. Alexi was may all time favorite artist, but its been tough for me to listen to his music for the past year. I'm posting this on the last day of November, and it's the first time in 2021 I've been able to hear COB and just feel happy like they used to make me feel when Alexi was alive.
Our guitar player (my little brother) Henry was one of the 100guitars group. It was so awesome show! And this video, hats off for all of you 🤘 R.I.P Alexi 🤘❤🤘 -Robert
It’s amazing to see how many artists are inspired by Alexi, with his music and even his guitars. I personally was influenced by Alexi, owe all my guitar playing to him and also own his gear. Rest In Power!
Beautiful guys, I’ll save this video in the bottom of my heart forever 🖤 I was unfortunately not part of this but it is so touching, and meaningful. Thanks you all for making this, I am sure he is smiling right now.
These are awesome! It would br even more awesome if you would release the 100 Guitars from Hel T-shirts as a tribute to Alexi. Would buy in a heartbeat.🤘
