We figured that our little community was a fitting showcase of Alexi's influence on the global metal scene. Hopefully this tribute can bring people some of the same joy that Alexi's playing did. Speaking as a COB fan, I just want to thank everyone who helped make this video. I don't think I have to explain to anyone else what it was like to hear of his completely unexpected (at least to me) passing at the age of just 41, at the end of 2020, of all years. Alexi was may all time favorite artist, but its been tough for me to listen to his music for the past year. I'm posting this on the last day of November, and it's the first time in 2021 I've been able to hear COB and just feel happy like they used to make me feel when Alexi was alive.
