This song is incredibly difficult and contains some amazing lead runs. The pace never lets up - you're sweeping during verses and doing rapid hammer on/pull off runs. The solo is also super tough - that first tapping section is insane. Great job on the cover, absolutely flawless - nailed both Alexi and Roope's lead sections.
Thanks! Yes, this was one of hardest ones I’ve done here. The sweeps in the verse were not that hard once you got the sweeps rolling, but Alexi´s solo and the outro were the most challenging parts.

Anyway this is one of my favorite songs, the Sinergy are very undervalued according to me for the technical and creative rate present in their albums (especially by a very young Alexi Laiho). Thanks! I use Kemper, it’s just perfect. I’ve been using various profiles in these videos. My effect signal chain is quite simple, OD pedal if necessary (usually tube screamer), amp, cab, EQ, chorus and delay for leads. I used to play classical piano as a kid for 6 years, I was also in primary school that was specialized on teaching music theory. And after school I studied more theory by myself. I recommend every musician to learn different scales, intervals and chords, take lessons if necessary. But I’m not a prima vista -guy, I’m not good on reading notes. I learn almost every song just by listening to them.

Thanks! I set the strings nowadays quite low, neck really straight. On standard E-tune I usually use 9-46 set, on D-tune 11-48 or 11-52. Nowadays I measure the string height to get the settings on different guitars as identical as possible. Maybe I should make a video how I set my guitars…?
