    48 seconds in and this is already exponentially more engaging and better presented than most Maya tutorials on this hellsite. Keep it up and I may just subscribe!
    EDIT: finished the video and I have more comments / questions...
    1.) the dinging and fwp sound fx were both startling and deafening. Please stop that.
    2.) I noticed you closed the mouth afterwards... wouldn’t you rather have left it a bit open so as to facilitate painting skin weights later on in the rigging process?
    3.) Subscribed, as threatened! 😤

      @AnimatorArtistLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      wow, thanks so much, I'm really pleased it was so helpful.
      Re) 1 the dinging, sorry think it was a notification I forgot to mute,, what other sounds did you mean?
      2) closing the mouth: you should always rig a character in a neutral pose, including the face. it would make difficult when doing blendshapes like smile, frown etc,
      3) THANKS! great to have you as a subscriber, come join the brand new private facebook group: facebook.com/groups/animatorartistlife and get involved, it would be great to post your work.

    Cant we start using Zbrush and retopology using maya ???? In order to take more stylish characters ?

    • @AnimatorArtistLife
      @AnimatorArtistLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, yes you can if you prefer, This is a Maya tutorial though not Zbrush. For simple designs like this I prefer to model straight into Maya and find it quicker as I don't have to retoplogise. Zbrush is awesome though and definitely good to use for more organic experimenting. There is no right way, there are many ways to achieve a goal, and often used and mixed together 🙂

      Why not? I didn't want large chunky teeth in this one, characters can be many different styles, 😊
