I like how you have a beanie on as if that by itself will warm you up 😂.

Oh my goodness. How cold is the water? 52F feels rough for me. That's gotta be in the 30s or something? Incredible.

I'll never understand how yall do it without cold water swimming gloves and socks. I do this too but I can't handle it without my socks and gloves. Lol

Good stuff! I have been doing this for a year. I have my own 32 degree plunge. And I get in daily for 8-11 minutes. And in the summer 3 months I do it twice daily. Because it’s so much easier to warm up afterwards. Winter is by far much harder ( mentally) than summer. But 32 degrees for 8-11 minutes, is 32 degrees for 8-11 minutes.. lol. And to do it twice daily in the summer, shows how much easier plunging in warm weather is than cold weather. The warm up period after is why.

10min daily Thats a lot! i do 3 min shower daily. Did you get any negative effect ever for doing it too long/too often

@@Oo-zp2wm not yet? It’s been almost 2 years. I don’t set a time. I play music on my phone, and get out when I want. Sometimes I just get in a relaxing zone, and 12 minutes goes by. That’s usually in the summer. Sometimes 7 -8 minutes is enough. I tapered down slowly over 3-6 months time. 65 degrees, 62, 60, 57 degrees etc . The water was getting colder in the body of water. So I did not just go to really cold right away. I found this by accident. Swimming laps in 65 degree water for 40 minutes. Which if you do it daily, is harder than a 10 minute 32 degree plunge. I shoot for 10 minutes a day because it’s what Wim Hof does. And I just feel so good when I do it.

You just need a way to warm up before dying
