I think it's meant to be pronounced "Tiel Reggor" in the same way that Lancers say "Umer Gregger" Actually getting the pronunciation over in a comment is obviously gonna be difficult but there's definetly a rolling r in Regor's name if you consider how the Grineer pronounce stuff in game.

In my 48 years of life, nothing brings together strangers stronger than the mutual love and well-being of a pet that has brought happiness to your life and others. I have a daughter who's autistic, and one of my foster fails was a pit bull who was used for forced breeding, became her still long standing guardian at 7 years (in dog age). Even with all the abuse my foster, Bella, endured; she was still strongly maternal and protective. She will be at my 5 year old daughter's side when she has her epileptic episodes, and comfort her as if she was her own pup.. And I always protect her when I run into ignorant people that still vilify Pitbull breeds due to the stigma brought about by bad press and societal misconceptions.

I'll share with you what the founder of my foster group said when she had to say goodbye to her fur buddy of 17 years: "Of all things that truly deserve an afterlife are our pets. They come into this world loving us unconditionally, and we show them the same. Unlike us, I personally think a lot of pets know they have a short span of life to live, so they spend that loving the world and the owners who love them back. That's why we cherish that time with them as much as we can." When that time comes friend, we'll be here for you.

The grineer as a faction are full of memorable characters that have 0 presence really. Sargus ruk, vey hek, tyl, kril. Vor Of these vey hek and tyl are the most important. And the queens I guess. Whereas the corpus only has 1 target that is memorable. Salad V. That’s only because the guy is everywhere. Everyone loves tyl. Top tier voice acting. Great character. He deserves more. Vor needs a revamp too. Because while corrupted he should be as strong as us lore wise. Or stronger You could argue that tyl could dodge death like alad. Give the man some credit
The eyes being diffrent size i would say is also visual story telling. He is falling apart like the other grineer. So one of his eyes has worse vision than the other. So his mask counters his bad vision by being more focused, to give the bad eye a clear vision

Tbh I can’t tell when any of our grineer assassination targets are dead at this point. I know Vor technically dies and comes back in the void. Lech krill does at least die after the second time you face him with vor. But Sargus ruk comes back during the event to repair one of our relays. Tyl regor here came back when we got mirror defense on mars. I know vay hek lives because he escaped and was present during new war. Kela De Thaym is still present bc dog days came and she hosted while she was sick. The corpus ones at least make sense in that they are mostly robotics so even when we do kill the boss they are simply turned into new models making them normal enemies for us to fight. The infested bosses I can tell are canonically dead for sure when we do kill them. So once again I can never really tell if any of the grineer bosses actually die when we kill them which infuriates me and relieves me. Ty for the video
I think the thing with grineer bosses is that when they add new content with the bosses in them, that content actually canonically takes place before their deaths, even though it was added in the game after. Like Citrine's wish takes place before we actually kill him in the timeline, and before Natah as well, but Citrine quest was actually added far after his death. So I think that's the problem there, at least that's my best attempt at explaining it
Belric and Rania ARE alive. That's why their connection is still so strong that it bends the space between them. I think their bodies wouldn't survive being taken out from the crystals, basically, but they should be considered conscious in a Voidy kind of way.

Not even capture him, but at least have a deeper conversation with him. Maybe before killing him we work together to take on the infested for the better of the entire system. However, he was very close to increasing the power of the grineer to an extreme degree, so maybe killing him off was the best
I personally feel like the only reason Tyl Regor was able to develop a "cure" to the infestation was not only because he was a genius, because he was, but also because A: Alads transformation was short lived, he wasn't a mass of limbs yet, B: It was alads janky homebrew version of the infestation that infected him, and C: I think the infestation that is spread throughout most of the origin system in the current game is not the same one that fought against the sentients in the old war It has decayed over time, there were no brand new "gardens" being setup by the orokin and so the leftover stock from the end of the old war that degenerated over centuries of a lack of non-stop war, kind of like the clone rot, but for the massive system spanning war being finished, basically look at the grey strain and deimos, especially with giant regenerating organisms like the worms or the floating genetrixes literally spawning enemies from nothing, just like the sentients Just think about orcs from warhammer 40K if you know about them, basically they were born super OP at the start a couple million years ago and got even stronger the more they fought, but when when they had nothing challenging left to fight they devolved into the current orcs, they still could get there, but the amount of war that would need to happen would destroy a good chunk of the W40K galaxy Just replace that with the infestation and you're right on it personally
I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in a throwaway line, not really giving it the details that I probably should of, but the infestation that Tyl cured was a type of infestation that was somewhat created by Alad V, it was a new strand that Alad himself had developed and infected himself with, likely meaning it was probably weaker, which allowed Alad to last so long while infected, and allow Tyl Regor to find a cure so quickly. I just kind of connected the dots, and saw a lot of potential for Regor to find the cure for the more powerful infested strands and older ones, based on the fact he was able to cure Tyl in his early stages of infection. I don't think he would be ever be able to develop a cure for something that has been infected for a considerable amount of time, but based on the fact he was able to destroy Alads strand, there's potential he'd eventually be able to create a virus or something that could negatively affect the original more powerful ones. Also I know almost nothing about Warhammer 40k, but everything I've heard about it has been people talking fondly about it or just really interesting lore. I believe it use to be a board game, and I'm not a big board game guy, and correct me if I'm wrong about it primarily being a table top, but besides for that, what would be your best recommendation for getting into 40k media?
@@kookthekid8338Warhammer 40k started out as and still is a table top board game, but it's also expanded into collector miniatures and lore books, as someone who's only into the lore part of W40K, i would recommend Bricky's "Every single Warhammer 40k (WH40k) Faction Explained" both parts or if you don't have 2 hours then "WTF IS WARHAMMER 40K? - EXPLAINED - FULL BEGINNER'S GUIDE + EVERY MAJOR FACTION" by Luetin09 also works as a nice quick introduction
I like to think that the eyes are of different size because either one is organic and the other is cyvernetic or that one is for normal viewing anf the other is a built in magnifuer to assist in his biotics research.
Corpus bosses hmm, that'll be kind of tricky since there's so many absolutely zed-zilch personalities in them since they're mostly robots, but I think the hyena pack is probably the most interesting of the robotics, though that isn't saying much since they only have marginally more attitude than the other robotics that also just trash talk you
They all do have somewhat similar personalities, or almost no personality at all. I've always seen Alad as the most unique, and maybe nef for his cult thing, but both have the same goals and mindset for the most part
@@kookthekid8338 a Nef Anyo video is a must, it might actually outstrip this video in length, he's the main antagonist in 3 or 4 main quests and a bunch of other stuff, though it feels like we haven't heard from him in a while. His interactions with parvos granum and ergo glast are really entertaining as well. And I'd prefer his bumbling self-aggrandizement and gambling addiction to alad v's whinging and scheming and the "remember, I am your friend" routine. His death sound is the funniest in the game though
I find it very debatable, because you have to remember Albrecht is immortal, and has had centuries to dedicate to research and to gather knowledge. Tyl Regor was able to accomplish everything he did in at most 30 years, and probably more likely 10 or less. If you were to give Tyl the same immense resources, and same amount of time that Albrecht had, I think there's a very good chance that his accomplishments could be the greatest in the universe. Of course we'll never know because Tyl isn't immortal, and Albrecht is.
Dude Awesome vid but Please stop saying 'Galaxy', Warframe just takes place in a single System with a single star, not an entire Galaxy with like, a Gazillion stars like 40k. I think the game uses Origin System or something like that, otherwise its a great lore vid

The reason why we decay is oxygen, if the orekin are preserved in crystals that means no oxygen. No oxygen = No decay (To a certain degree), then yes Regor would have some good DNA to work with

Grineer intelligence in underplayed. They have their own sophisticated language with a number script which only makes sense when you understand the basics of digital computing. Your average Grineer definitely has the intelligence of a modern 12-18 year-old human. They understand their own mortality
I would disagree, especially since their language is purposefully simple, when spoken, and any language is easy to learn if you grown up being taught it. That’s like saying an English speaking individual is smarter than a Spanish one just because English is considered more difficult to learn, when in reality it’s just what you grew up with. On top of that, they likely aren’t even taught that, and it’s just implanted in their brain at creation, since I doubt they waste the time to teach Grineer in their short lives but I coulda missed something like that for sure if they do. The problem here isn’t that the clones are dumb because they just happen to be dumb, it’s that they’re purposely made dumb, and purposely made to be sheep. And to the extent of understanding their own mortality, they know they don’t want to die, but that’s about as far as it goes for most Grineer. They’re bred to be unintelligent is every way besides combat, they’re literally made not to questions orders or garner deep or self beliefs. 99% if grineers aren’t questions death, or coming up with new ideas or inventions, because they’re purposely cloned in ways to make them less intelligent. You could easily make Grineer clones that have a higher intelligence, but the queens literally mass produce ones that are just intelligent enough to follow orders, and then those Grineer are taught how to do whatever task they might be placed on. It’s hard for me to go as far to say they’re as intelligent as the average human adult, because there’s just not a whole of signs they have a deeper thought process. I’d argue individuals that fled the Grineer to the steel meridian are much more intelligence than average, along with pretty much tyl regors entire sector. But that’s why I gotta disagree, at least with them being on par with a human adult when it comes to intelligence. They is just such a limited amount of emotional, intuitive, independent and self reflective ideas in Grineer, it’s hard to give them much credit in the intelligence market in my personal opinion.
@@kookthekid8338 I've actually taken the time to study their language (I'm autistic lol) and it's not as simple as people think. It's a corrupted version of English was a robust grammar system. It's actually very similar to the real-life language of Afrikaans, which is a corrupted version of Dutch (when ignoring loan-words from local languages). Grineer marines speak their language fluently. When you translate it directly into modern English, they aren't speaking like cavemen, they only speak their second language (the Origin System's unnamed common-language) like that. They're completely fluent in their own language, and partially fluent in a 2nd language. That's better lingusitic ability than most Native-English speakers, who are statistically only capable of speaking English. We also see with the Steel Meridian that Grineer are fully capable of being fluent in origin-system-common too. They're also intellectually complex enough to commit treason against the Queens. Kahl and the Steel Meridian are just normal clones. They're the base-line for Grineer intelligence, and we see reasoning. (Humans mentally reach adulthood between 25-28. 18 year-olds are still dumb and 6-10s from reaching the intellectual human maximum. I could definitely see average Grineer being around the intelligence of a late-teenager)
Gonna go on a bit of a rant here but the Grineer aren't dumb. Most of the lancer and ballista variety are of equal intelligence to regular people. Its shown through their in-game dialogue. When the Grineer are screaming at you in game they aren't just yelling battle cries, theyre communicating with their allies and using tactical thinking calling for covering fire while they reload and alerting the position of enemies to their allies.
That's not true canonically, and I would argue that it even shows in the gameplay that it's not true. They hide behind covers facing the wrong way, their most pronounced battle tactic is running straight ahead at you in large numbers, and when it comes to their screaming and communicating, it's incredibly basic phrases never reaching a sentence. When it comes to the cannon, the grineer language was created because the original human language was too complex for most grineer to understand, so they created a language that relies heavily on grunts, sounds and extremely basic phrases. Secondly, in this video Tyl Regor even talks about the worsening state of the grineer mind. Also, the cloning process is described to have a large amount of mental and physical defects on the grineer, causing them to be less intelligent. I agree I probably overhyped how dumb they were, they are smart enough to keep themselves from like, dying, unlike a toddler could, but compared to an average human, they lack a range of emotions and aren't intelligent enough for complex strategies. When comparing the strategies of the grineer, which usually are run forward and die, or hid poorly behind cover and sometimes not look in the right direction, to the actual strategies of an entity like the United States military, or any military really, it goes to show their lack of complex thinking. I mean Grineer are bred for war, are only taught war, and focus on it their whole lives, and they use strategies that essentially me or you would use without training, keep cover, or rush with numbers.

Tyl Regor is one of the most intelligent and arrogant people in system, not even the most intelligent Corpus scientists come close to him. He talks about tubemen as if they are intelligent as him and compared to that the Grineer are stupid and so is everyone else in the system Grineer do not feel emotions certain emotions cuz thats part of their design. Romantic love, cowardice, envy, and greed are all things that have been cut out for the better. The Grineer do use complex strategies, they poison the earth so the enemy can't use its resources, they burn forests so the enemy can't hide in them, they rain artillery fire and orbital strikes to destroy the enemy from afar. They plant ghoul gestation pods in the ground so when the enemy walks over them they are killed by thousands of monsters erupting from the ground. Their tactics are different from modern militaries because they work on a different paradigm, that being how cheap grineer life is so causalties arent avoided if it is the most effective path to victory. We don't see this stuff often because we don't fight in open battles where they can actually use tactics. We do surprise raids on grineer bases and the best tactic in a tenno raid other than literally nuking the place is running directly at the Tenno and praying to god that your death slows them down enough to prevent them from completing their mission
You used gameplay and in game dialogue, so I did the same when talking about tactics and what they yell out. The problem with your language argument is that it’s specifically stated that the Grineer language has been extremely simplified in both writing and in speaking due to the decreasing mental state of Grineer clones. The corpus language is not purposefully simplified due to lack of intelligence. Secondly, the Grineer state is constantly worsening due to their cloning techniques, to state they’re as intelligent as an average human is blasphemy, and makes no sense when the entire point of tyls research is to make them mentally and physically stronger, there’s dialogue in the game that involved tyl commenting how dumb the average Grineer is due to the draw backs of the cloning process. There are oddities when it comes to cloning, which is how you get someone like tyl regor, using extreme outliers for your argument doesn’t make sense, especially when him being an outlier is acknowledged in game. Most Grineer leaders(not all) are far more intelligent than the average Grineer, they reached their position of power because of that. The tactics you refer to using on Earth are made by said Grineer outliers who are high ranking, the average Grineer isn’t employing or commanding those strategies to be done. Not a single one of those tactics would be done by an average Grineer platoon, and they would instead have to come from a higher up
He found a cure for a strand of infestation that Alad created while studying one of the ancient strands, so he didn't find the cure for like the most powerful strand, but I personally believe with enough time he would of, because he was able to so quickly cure Alad's brand new strand

Honestly m if they ever brought another character back, it would have to be regor I think he’s a far more interesting character than aladv or vor who we’ve seemingly killed both more than once, But they keeps “surviving” Who’s to say tyl regor didnt survive, and we had to work with him now that we have characters like kahl on our side, that’d be such a cool idea
Not gonna lie i hope one day ther is gonna be a cure for greneer kind. To "fix" them ther creative engeneering and the facht tyl found a cure for one strain of the infestation makes me gasp for what more greneer can do. I might may be way to positive.. but i can not ignore ther suffering and genius. Below all the hate and broken strains of DNA Genetic code.. may lay fixes for a lot of problems that plage the origin system.
KaL and kyl are the only two of their whole race that I actually loved because of their personality and the fact that they actually care about their brothers😅
They should bring him back. He should have several contingency clones that appear as events from time to time. With unique, challenging, steel path missions each time.

Thank you for the compliment! And I personally disagree with this, depending on how we're measuring intelligence here. Like with the Cephalons, due to Ballas's age and background, he knew way more things than Tyl could possibly know, however, when it comes to innovation and solving things, I still thing Tyl has more impressive feats in a shorter time. Ballas did help develop warframes, but it's unclear if he was solely responsible, or if he had a large team behind him with the most advanced research labs in the universe helping, which is much more likely. When it comes to Tyl there's literally no one nearly as smart as him in the grineer empire, or anyone even with the knowledge to create the tools that he needs to do his research. Everything he has created he had to develop and design on his own, and all of his discoveries are essentially found solely by him. It's just hard to judge what Tyl could of done if provided the same resources of someone like Ballas, or even Alad V for that matter, and if he was even provided the lifespan of either of those, who knows what could of happened, which is why I personally think he potentially was the most intelligent individual to grace the universe, because he accomplished the near impossible in an incredibly short amount of time with bad resources compared to others.
Waframe needs to humanize more enemies, so that we feel something when we go up against them! They've made a great game like I always say, but just too many of the villains feel evil just for evils sake

There was a long standing presumption that Kahl is a imperfect clone of Tyl, due to two things he's demonstrated when his Kahl story mode was introduced: His affinity to cobble together tech, as exemplified when he haphazardly created his Veilbreaker tech. And his strong empathy to save his Grineer brothers. Which in retrospect makes perfect sense.
It's an interesting idea, but I would have to disagree, Khal is very very empathetic towards his brothers, to a level that surpasses Regor significantly. Don't get me wrong, Regor is extremely empathetic compared to other grineers, and is undoubtedly one of the friendliest grineer, but Khal is just next level when it comes to that. Like there's zero doubt in my mind that Khal would be upset with Regor due to his experimentation on living specimens of grineer. When it comes to the tech side of things, I would almost argue that's more of a Vor trait, since Vor is known for modifying pre-existing tech for his own use, while Regor kinda just makes brand new things. But of course if we're assuming that he's an imperfect copy then it would still be possible, I just find it kind of unlikely myself, he seems more like a more friendly Vor in my opinion. However, cloning Tyl would make more sense, since Vor betrayed the Grineer for the void, and if they could recreate Tyl's intelligence that would be huge.

Tbh I can’t tell when any of our grineer assassination targets are dead at this point. I know Vor technically dies and comes back in the void. Lech krill does at least die after the second time you face him with vor. But Sargus ruk comes back during the event to repair one of our relays. Tyl regor here came back when we got mirror defense on mars. I know vay hek lives because he escaped and was present during new war. Kela De Thaym is still present bc dog days came and she hosted while she was sick.
The corpus ones at least make sense in that they are mostly robotics so even when we do kill the boss they are simply turned into new models making them normal enemies for us to fight.
The infested bosses I can tell are canonically dead for sure when we do kill them.
So once again I can never really tell if any of the grineer bosses actually die when we kill them which infuriates me and relieves me.

I think the thing with grineer bosses is that when they add new content with the bosses in them, that content actually canonically takes place before their deaths, even though it was added in the game after. Like Citrine's wish takes place before we actually kill him in the timeline, and before Natah as well, but Citrine quest was actually added far after his death. So I think that's the problem there, at least that's my best attempt at explaining it

Belric and Rania ARE alive. That's why their connection is still so strong that it bends the space between them. I think their bodies wouldn't survive being taken out from the crystals, basically, but they should be considered conscious in a Voidy kind of way.

However, he was very close to increasing the power of the grineer to an extreme degree, so maybe killing him off was the best
I personally feel like the only reason Tyl Regor was able to develop a "cure" to the infestation was not only because he was a genius, because he was, but also because
A: Alads transformation was short lived, he wasn't a mass of limbs yet, B: It was alads janky homebrew version of the infestation that infected him, and C: I think the infestation that is spread throughout most of the origin system in the current game is not the same one that fought against the sentients in the old war
It has decayed over time, there were no brand new "gardens" being setup by the orokin and so the leftover stock from the end of the old war that degenerated over centuries of a lack of non-stop war, kind of like the clone rot, but for the massive system spanning war being finished, basically look at the grey strain and deimos, especially with giant regenerating organisms like the worms or the floating genetrixes literally spawning enemies from nothing, just like the sentients
Just think about orcs from warhammer 40K if you know about them, basically they were born super OP at the start a couple million years ago and got even stronger the more they fought, but when when they had nothing challenging left to fight they devolved into the current orcs, they still could get there, but the amount of war that would need to happen would destroy a good chunk of the W40K galaxy
Just replace that with the infestation and you're right on it personally
I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in a throwaway line, not really giving it the details that I probably should of, but the infestation that Tyl cured was a type of infestation that was somewhat created by Alad V, it was a new strand that Alad himself had developed and infected himself with, likely meaning it was probably weaker, which allowed Alad to last so long while infected, and allow Tyl Regor to find a cure so quickly. I just kind of connected the dots, and saw a lot of potential for Regor to find the cure for the more powerful infested strands and older ones, based on the fact he was able to cure Tyl in his early stages of infection. I don't think he would be ever be able to develop a cure for something that has been infected for a considerable amount of time, but based on the fact he was able to destroy Alads strand, there's potential he'd eventually be able to create a virus or something that could negatively affect the original more powerful ones.
Also I know almost nothing about Warhammer 40k, but everything I've heard about it has been people talking fondly about it or just really interesting lore. I believe it use to be a board game, and I'm not a big board game guy, and correct me if I'm wrong about it primarily being a table top, but besides for that, what would be your best recommendation for getting into 40k media?
@@kookthekid8338Warhammer 40k started out as and still is a table top board game, but it's also expanded into collector miniatures and lore books, as someone who's only into the lore part of W40K, i would recommend Bricky's "Every single Warhammer 40k (WH40k) Faction Explained" both parts or if you don't have 2 hours then "WTF IS WARHAMMER 40K? - EXPLAINED - FULL BEGINNER'S GUIDE + EVERY MAJOR FACTION" by Luetin09 also works as a nice quick introduction

Corpus bosses hmm, that'll be kind of tricky since there's so many absolutely zed-zilch personalities in them since they're mostly robots, but I think the hyena pack is probably the most interesting of the robotics, though that isn't saying much since they only have marginally more attitude than the other robotics that also just trash talk you
They all do have somewhat similar personalities, or almost no personality at all. I've always seen Alad as the most unique, and maybe nef for his cult thing, but both have the same goals and mindset for the most part
@@kookthekid8338 a Nef Anyo video is a must, it might actually outstrip this video in length, he's the main antagonist in 3 or 4 main quests and a bunch of other stuff, though it feels like we haven't heard from him in a while.
His interactions with parvos granum and ergo glast are really entertaining as well. And I'd prefer his bumbling self-aggrandizement and gambling addiction to alad v's whinging and scheming and the "remember, I am your friend" routine. His death sound is the funniest in the game though

I find it very debatable, because you have to remember Albrecht is immortal, and has had centuries to dedicate to research and to gather knowledge. Tyl Regor was able to accomplish everything he did in at most 30 years, and probably more likely 10 or less. If you were to give Tyl the same immense resources, and same amount of time that Albrecht had, I think there's a very good chance that his accomplishments could be the greatest in the universe. Of course we'll never know because Tyl isn't immortal, and Albrecht is.

Grineer intelligence in underplayed. They have their own sophisticated language with a number script which only makes sense when you understand the basics of digital computing.
Your average Grineer definitely has the intelligence of a modern 12-18 year-old human. They understand their own mortality
I would disagree, especially since their language is purposefully simple, when spoken, and any language is easy to learn if you grown up being taught it. That’s like saying an English speaking individual is smarter than a Spanish one just because English is considered more difficult to learn, when in reality it’s just what you grew up with. On top of that, they likely aren’t even taught that, and it’s just implanted in their brain at creation, since I doubt they waste the time to teach Grineer in their short lives but I coulda missed something like that for sure if they do.
The problem here isn’t that the clones are dumb because they just happen to be dumb, it’s that they’re purposely made dumb, and purposely made to be sheep. And to the extent of understanding their own mortality, they know they don’t want to die, but that’s about as far as it goes for most Grineer. They’re bred to be unintelligent is every way besides combat, they’re literally made not to questions orders or garner deep or self beliefs. 99% if grineers aren’t questions death, or coming up with new ideas or inventions, because they’re purposely cloned in ways to make them less intelligent. You could easily make Grineer clones that have a higher intelligence, but the queens literally mass produce ones that are just intelligent enough to follow orders, and then those Grineer are taught how to do whatever task they might be placed on.
It’s hard for me to go as far to say they’re as intelligent as the average human adult, because there’s just not a whole of signs they have a deeper thought process. I’d argue individuals that fled the Grineer to the steel meridian are much more intelligence than average, along with pretty much tyl regors entire sector.
But that’s why I gotta disagree, at least with them being on par with a human adult when it comes to intelligence. They is just such a limited amount of emotional, intuitive, independent and self reflective ideas in Grineer, it’s hard to give them much credit in the intelligence market in my personal opinion.
@@kookthekid8338 I've actually taken the time to study their language (I'm autistic lol) and it's not as simple as people think. It's a corrupted version of English was a robust grammar system. It's actually very similar to the real-life language of Afrikaans, which is a corrupted version of Dutch (when ignoring loan-words from local languages). Grineer marines speak their language fluently. When you translate it directly into modern English, they aren't speaking like cavemen, they only speak their second language (the Origin System's unnamed common-language) like that. They're completely fluent in their own language, and partially fluent in a 2nd language. That's better lingusitic ability than most Native-English speakers, who are statistically only capable of speaking English.
We also see with the Steel Meridian that Grineer are fully capable of being fluent in origin-system-common too. They're also intellectually complex enough to commit treason against the Queens. Kahl and the Steel Meridian are just normal clones. They're the base-line for Grineer intelligence, and we see reasoning.
(Humans mentally reach adulthood between 25-28. 18 year-olds are still dumb and 6-10s from reaching the intellectual human maximum. I could definitely see average Grineer being around the intelligence of a late-teenager)

Gonna go on a bit of a rant here but the Grineer aren't dumb. Most of the lancer and ballista variety are of equal intelligence to regular people.
Its shown through their in-game dialogue. When the Grineer are screaming at you in game they aren't just yelling battle cries, theyre communicating with their allies and using tactical thinking calling for covering fire while they reload and alerting the position of enemies to their allies.
That's not true canonically, and I would argue that it even shows in the gameplay that it's not true. They hide behind covers facing the wrong way, their most pronounced battle tactic is running straight ahead at you in large numbers, and when it comes to their screaming and communicating, it's incredibly basic phrases never reaching a sentence.
When it comes to the cannon, the grineer language was created because the original human language was too complex for most grineer to understand, so they created a language that relies heavily on grunts, sounds and extremely basic phrases. Secondly, in this video Tyl Regor even talks about the worsening state of the grineer mind. Also, the cloning process is described to have a large amount of mental and physical defects on the grineer, causing them to be less intelligent.
I agree I probably overhyped how dumb they were, they are smart enough to keep themselves from like, dying, unlike a toddler could, but compared to an average human, they lack a range of emotions and aren't intelligent enough for complex strategies. When comparing the strategies of the grineer, which usually are run forward and die, or hid poorly behind cover and sometimes not look in the right direction, to the actual strategies of an entity like the United States military, or any military really, it goes to show their lack of complex thinking. I mean Grineer are bred for war, are only taught war, and focus on it their whole lives, and they use strategies that essentially me or you would use without training, keep cover, or rush with numbers.

The Grineer language exists because its been 1000 years since English was the most commonly spoken language during the Orokin era, linguistic drift is a thing that happens and isnt unique to Grineer as shown by the Corpus language. The Grineer also do speak in full sentences in Grineer, you can hear it all the time when you're undetected.
Tyl Regor is one of the most intelligent and arrogant people in system, not even the most intelligent Corpus scientists come close to him. He talks about tubemen as if they are intelligent as him and compared to that the Grineer are stupid and so is everyone else in the system
Grineer do not feel emotions certain emotions cuz thats part of their design. Romantic love, cowardice, envy, and greed are all things that have been cut out for the better.
The Grineer do use complex strategies, they poison the earth so the enemy can't use its resources, they burn forests so the enemy can't hide in them, they rain artillery fire and orbital strikes to destroy the enemy from afar. They plant ghoul gestation pods in the ground so when the enemy walks over them they are killed by thousands of monsters erupting from the ground. Their tactics are different from modern militaries because they work on a different paradigm, that being how cheap grineer life is so causalties arent avoided if it is the most effective path to victory.
We don't see this stuff often because we don't fight in open battles where they can actually use tactics. We do surprise raids on grineer bases and the best tactic in a tenno raid other than literally nuking the place is running directly at the Tenno and praying to god that your death slows them down enough to prevent them from completing their mission

You used gameplay and in game dialogue, so I did the same when talking about tactics and what they yell out.
The problem with your language argument is that it’s specifically stated that the Grineer language has been extremely simplified in both writing and in speaking due to the decreasing mental state of Grineer clones. The corpus language is not purposefully simplified due to lack of intelligence.
Secondly, the Grineer state is constantly worsening due to their cloning techniques, to state they’re as intelligent as an average human is blasphemy, and makes no sense when the entire point of tyls research is to make them mentally and physically stronger, there’s dialogue in the game that involved tyl commenting how dumb the average Grineer is due to the draw backs of the cloning process.
There are oddities when it comes to cloning, which is how you get someone like tyl regor, using extreme outliers for your argument doesn’t make sense, especially when him being an outlier is acknowledged in game. Most Grineer leaders(not all) are far more intelligent than the average Grineer, they reached their position of power because of that.
The tactics you refer to using on Earth are made by said Grineer outliers who are high ranking, the average Grineer isn’t employing or commanding those strategies to be done. Not a single one of those tactics would be done by an average Grineer platoon, and they would instead have to come from a higher up

Thank you for the compliment! And I personally disagree with this, depending on how we're measuring intelligence here. Like with the Cephalons, due to Ballas's age and background, he knew way more things than Tyl could possibly know, however, when it comes to innovation and solving things, I still thing Tyl has more impressive feats in a shorter time. Ballas did help develop warframes, but it's unclear if he was solely responsible, or if he had a large team behind him with the most advanced research labs in the universe helping, which is much more likely. When it comes to Tyl there's literally no one nearly as smart as him in the grineer empire, or anyone even with the knowledge to create the tools that he needs to do his research. Everything he has created he had to develop and design on his own, and all of his discoveries are essentially found solely by him. It's just hard to judge what Tyl could of done if provided the same resources of someone like Ballas, or even Alad V for that matter, and if he was even provided the lifespan of either of those, who knows what could of happened, which is why I personally think he potentially was the most intelligent individual to grace the universe, because he accomplished the near impossible in an incredibly short amount of time with bad resources compared to others.

There was a long standing presumption that Kahl is a imperfect clone of Tyl, due to two things he's demonstrated when his Kahl story mode was introduced:
His affinity to cobble together tech, as exemplified when he haphazardly created his Veilbreaker tech.
And his strong empathy to save his Grineer brothers.
Which in retrospect makes perfect sense.
They have a tendency to bring bosses back so I feel like it's possible
It's an interesting idea, but I would have to disagree, Khal is very very empathetic towards his brothers, to a level that surpasses Regor significantly. Don't get me wrong, Regor is extremely empathetic compared to other grineers, and is undoubtedly one of the friendliest grineer, but Khal is just next level when it comes to that. Like there's zero doubt in my mind that Khal would be upset with Regor due to his experimentation on living specimens of grineer. When it comes to the tech side of things, I would almost argue that's more of a Vor trait, since Vor is known for modifying pre-existing tech for his own use, while Regor kinda just makes brand new things. But of course if we're assuming that he's an imperfect copy then it would still be possible, I just find it kind of unlikely myself, he seems more like a more friendly Vor in my opinion. However, cloning Tyl would make more sense, since Vor betrayed the Grineer for the void, and if they could recreate Tyl's intelligence that would be huge.
@@kookthekid8338 it's just a good excuse to have Tyl's voice actor to come back and give Kahl a sexy voice, as I also wished the Worm Sister Queens get sexy Orokin style bodies back, but dressed up in their Kuva garb once Tyl's perfected his cloning tech.
