    7:55 It is confirmed that Margulis was executed just after it was discovered that the tenno could control the warframes. During the Silver grove quest the archimedean Silvana was tasked to help the creation process of the Warframes along side Margulis herself showing that she still lived even after the old war began. However once it was discovered that the tenno could control the Warframes, as shown in the Rhino prime codex entry, the Orokin wanted to turn the tenno into warriors. Margulis was later executed because of her "crime" of apostasy due to now wanting to allow the orokin to weaponize the tenno & her transference therapy technology.

      Yeah I think you’re right! Thanks for the correction! I don’t understand why they wouldn’t mention this during her trial though, or at any point throughout the actual new war quest line, which is why I assumed it had to be earlier, especially because there’s point where margulis states that she made transference to allow the Tenno to see the outside world. But the silver grove makes it sound like it was always just intended for the Tenno to control frames.I didn’t even think to re-watch the silver grove quest line during this 🤦‍♂️

    • @muntu1221
      @muntu1221 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @kookthekid8338 They probably didn't mention it in her trial because the trial wasn't about the fate of the Tenno. Margulis called out the Seven, and she was tried for that. Only Ballas is said to have wanted them dead.

    my theory is that ballas went into hiding in stasis on lua and was awoken after we pulled lua out of the void. in the sacrifice, ordis mentioned how the aftershock of lua’s exit from the void freed umbra from his prison. ballas’ first appearance occurred only shortly before umbra’s, so it’s possible that the same happened to him.

      Margules created transference, Ballas created Warframes, Albright created Void/time travel. Albright takes the grey strain back in the past, creates proto frames. So he ether doesn't know how to transfer to frames or lacks the tech. We naturally can use it. He may try and find margules before she becomes part of the orkin. Cuz since both the player and Albright fought back, the void demon has it's sights set on the Lotus next.

    Biggest? Most annoying? Yes. Greatest? No. I think so far that title has to go to Parvos Granum, unlike ballas, his plan worked, he got away at the end of the day and survived. He tricked and bested both tenno and orokin alike.

    • @kookthekid8338
      @kookthekid8338  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

      The way I meant greatest was as the most fleshed out and well known villain, not necessarily the most successful one. I mean ballas is probably still the most successful one next to parvos though, he conquered the galaxy and only lost cause he was crazy. Ima def do a deep dive on parvos though, he has so much cool lore, and is the most successful for sure

Sought revenge against the faith that both gave him everything while taking from him the only thing that mattered. He broke. Taking up the role of the rat, he skeemed and hide himself to survive. He is the last of the orkin. Heartbroken and mind shattered he uses the Warframe to plot destruction of all things. From my point of view ballas had plans and the reason he let margulis be executed was because he was too much of a pussy to risk his status as an executor.
    However that doesn't mean he didn't love her which gives him an extra layer of depthness.

      I don't think he actually loved her. He thinks so, sure. But he thinks love is disarming worship. He wanted someone who could see him as vulnerable and love him as unconditionally as his subjects were forced to, because the Orokin were both paranoid and lonely.
      However, Ballas felt betrayed because Margulis wouldn't just do whatever he asked if it meant compromising the Tenno. He couldn't actually grasp loving something flawed. Again, this goes back to him being Orokin. They believed they weren't deserving of dignity, let alone love, if they didn't pursue perfection. That she could say no to a perfect entity for flawed, as he saw them, demons was a blow to his insecurity he couldn't take. It brings up the question as to whether or not love can be sustained in an abusive relationship. Does he truly love her if the love is predicated on her always doing what he says?

    I think the lower extremities being sentient Is due to the damage umbra did to him. I think they used the amalgam technology as a means to save him but also as a lowkey payback for his initial betrayal. Is he still running things un the new war? Also notice that the symbols narmer uses is a Ram head. I believe Pazuul was using Ballas the whole time. After his and Erras death Pazuul had the other sentients put his head on Erras body. Kind of like a payback to what Erra did to Boreal, Nira and amar.

    • @muntu1221
      @muntu1221 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KorpsyKloun It's implied there was always going to be a power struggle. Pazuul is a schemer who was playing a VERY long game. Ballas and Erra dying made them Martyrs, and the Archons (including Pazuul) made a power play as "heirs" to gain power in the movement. Ballas and Erra invented the infrastructure, and the Archons took advantage when nobody was using it.
      I don't think it'll happen in-game, but I'd like to believe Narmer will have repeated struggles for power when the Archons get sick of sharing with each other.

      The corpus never had any power in the origin system over the orokin until every other faction did as well. During the peak orokin empire, the corpus were simply rich merchants who still followed orokin rules and transported between orokin planets. They never had any power over the orokin, or a fighting chance against them until after the old war had started, but at that point everyone did.

      @@kookthekid8338 they did not follow orokin rules. The corpus openly developed, crafted and sold weapons. That is definitly something that earned other factions at the same time a death sentence (rebelgroups for example). The corpus also did allow Archimedeans to work on projects that were against orokin law (thats how the sentient project started), to be fair all those Archimedeans that were recruited by the Corpus had to still go to Orokin court and obey Orokin, if they claimed there projects. But the biggest thing is that the Orokin gave Parvos Granum for a weapons deal in the Old War Protea, a full on warframe completly loyal now to Parvos without any plan or backstabbing.

      @@SenseiTizi we don't know for sure that the Orokin had no hand in Parvos becoming stranded in the Void. And I believe the Corpus only became too much hassle for the Orokin to subdue by force, so they subdued the Corpus with riches and pretenses of being "equals"

    No no no no. Let's clear this up, umbra was nowhere near the first warframes from a time line perspective it wouldn't make sense. Umbra was turned into umbra because he intercepted balls messages to hunhow about the warframes creation and how thay *were* made. Warframes already existed umbra isn't that special just built to be tortured.
