In the first few minutes I learned more from this vid than from the “Chinglish” manual. My machine looks identical but my remote has 6 buttons vs your 4, u have onboard micro sdcard.. i have hole where s slot might go.. but overall the same machine. Thanks for taking the time to make the vid. Most helpful.
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if I take this out to the country with no wifi or bad connection, whether I'll be able to take video. Maybe it has to be on mobile data.

This the first I knew you can fly this with just the phone. I just got one to learn to fly instead of wrecking my A2S and I have a Trplktek tablet so I think I'll give it a try. You make it look easy . And it looks you can just fly it around only using the controller Your the best you actully get into the stuff we want to know.

Re Headless Mode @ R.C. CRAZ-Y
A couple of typos/or misunderstandings there. One key return on a non GPS quad makes it fly backwards along (or parallel to if it is off the direct line) a previously defined headless direction. Trouble is that different quads use different ways of defining (and even holding or losing) the headless direction.
This one appears to set the direction as the way the quad is pointing when the quad & Tx are first bound. A lot of quads (but by no means all) do this, and it holds that set direction (headless or 1 key return off or on) till you power off.
Some quads (eg Hubsan h501 family and Bayangtoys X16 Gps) set the direction each time headless is turned on and lose it each time it is turned off.
Others (eg Bugs 2 family and SJRC S70W set it as the way the quad was facing at motor arming and retain that direction till disarming.
The Syma X8 family (& headless equipped X5 types) set (& retain) it as the way the quad was facing when headless was first turned on or defined/redefined by pulling both sticks to lower left.
With the odd-ball Furibee F36 the headless direction (& headless operation) can only be set by hitting the 1-key return button, then stopping the quad from flying backwards with the pitch stick.The quad then is in headless mode with the direction set by the way it was facing when 1-key return was pushed.
Also with regard to GPS equipped quads the return to point can vary from return to take off point to return to where the Tx is! On a few high-end quads there is even a function (I think it is called "Home Lock") where you pull the pitch straight back and the quad flies towards the Tx.
Try explaining all that to a kid ripping the wrappers off his birthday present!

Hi I ordered the emotion drone 5 megapixel two spare batterys from eBay what a disappointment the spare batterys where white I ordered the gun metal grey half the spare parts where missing but best of all it didn't even have an sd card slot in the ad card housing...oh my God unbelievable how can sellers send crap like that out to customers very disappointing man loved your video this is why I decided to buy one your review so I ordered another one with the same name as this one but the 5 megapixel keep up the good work buddy I love your reviews
YOU are the only person (out of the MANY videos I have watched) actually explains what the controls do (not just what the name of the control). For instance: telling me where the headless mode is TELLS ME NOTHING about WHAT it DOES. It really is amazing that people think they are teaching me how to use something and use the language of the device as if that clarifies anything. You actually says WHAT the button is and WHAT exactly it does.
What is headless mode?
Valen Balderrama headless mode is when the direction you are facing is “forwards”, even if you spin the drone

Hi you can move the camera by hand for up and down movement, I do it with mine.
Learnt a lot from this, my only regret that we could not combine the viewing of how you were using the controls.

I saw a video comparing VISUO XS809HW and e58 and it claims the video is better on visuo. is that true?
also i was browsing on bang good and found out that flytec T13 ($40) and eachine H99D ($47) are on sales. if i have to pick 1 (from h38, xs809, t13, h99d) which would be a better buy? i like the size of e58 and particularly of t13, but if there's a huge sacrifice on handling and video quality than id rather get a bigger one.
I know none of them are even close to be a real photo shooting drones, i would still love to see what video it can take at 30m above halong bay!

Great video on learning, I’m on my 4th E 58 problems with motors battery’s, I think I’m ready for the real thing. Living in Colorado the wind blows all the time. The drone is very light and is difficult to fly.
But it’s only fifty bucks😬

Removing the antenna would not be a good thing. and yes make it stop.
The drones do come apart quite easily and spares are quite cheap via banggood. ( second good reason to buy this model )
There's a couple of TH-cam channels showing repairs and modifications of the E58
Hopefully the end pulled out still has its Gold ( click fit ) connection tab attached, if not its order new one.

Thank you for sharing, your explanation is very helpful. I was told, Eachine E58 is the same as the current Blackbird 4K drone. I just got my Chinese made "Blackbird 4K drone" as first drone to get feel of it. The marking it different and no brand name is found anywhere except Drone Pro, no slot micro SD card, the customer service online is only a bot... I know I have been duped but, if its in fact, an Old Eachine E58 and it can what showing on the video, I am okay with it until I get better with it. The wifi network that it asked to download is not secured and it is worrisome., also, the instructions are one small piece paper with Chinese/English and the bare minimum confusing information. ;(

All these toy grade mavic clones are nice starter drones but there are way to many of them. I would like to see more clones like the Cfly Obtain, to be a true clone it at least needs brushless motors.
One key return is not the same as return to home. one key return make it go forward in the direction its facing, return to home is a G.P.S. function that only works on G.P.S. drones, which returns to were it took off. That's why theres so many fly offs because people get those 2 functions confused.

So far, this is the best video on the quadcopter. Sorry, but if you are a beginner the manual sucks. Since is a toy and most people don’t know how to fly a drone, it would be great if you can do a tutorial video for dummies. Your demo on the cell phone was lost, couldn't see a thing.
Mine was out of control. Crashed and burned. I finally was able to control it somewhat but still, it flew out of control into a neighbors yard. I pushed the ONE KEY landing button to no avail. I even tried pushing the left/right micro-adjust button but it did not make a difference. I am a newbie and I don't mind the learning curve, I just want the device to respond better and not just go wherever it wants. Also, I could not get my camera to work either on my Motorola or Ipad. If you have any constructive remarks, I would greatly appreciate them.
