- Check out this drone! This is the Eachine E58 pocket drone. It’s small enough to fit in a (big) pocket, and has remote control, wifi connection to your phone, live video feed, it can record 720P video to a micro sd-card and take pictures.
It’s also got three speed levels, to make it easy for anyone to fly, and level 3 is fast!
With one fully charged battery we can fly about 7-8 minutes.
This is a fun drone to fly and can be used by anyone!

I purchased this drone about a year ago, and totally forgot about it, until today. I took it out and charged the batteries and, boy, was that a blast. I didn't connect my phone this time next time though. The video you show is better than I expected from such an inexpensive drone. As you say, not production video, but fun video. For a first time flyer, you sure as hell flying like a pro. For the pass 3 days I've been crashing into walls, and trees, and everything else in between.

Alpha Omega I wanted to pitch another comment that I am now for or 5 weeks into flying a drone and it is a world knowledge and you cannot have other people around you when you are trying to learn you need to stay focused and you will be fine my improvement is tenfold yours will be too
I ordered my E58 from Banggood and it arrived yesterday. It flies well but being so light it gets kicked around a little by the wind but not too badly. I got 8 minutes flying on a full charge. Mine came with one battery for $40.99 and I ordered three more from Amazon for $19.99. It’s a nice little drone at a good price.

Beware of adds going around TH-cam marketing this exact same drone under the name "Udrone" or "DroneX". They literally rebrand and market this exact same drone with a bunch of false specifications but sell it for over double the price.

what app are you useing to connect your drone
I bought one of these in a soft case with four batteries for £27 delivered. It flew well in the house and for a few minutes outside.
It's a good beginner drone, in fairness, I don't use any drone anymore. I rather just use my DSLR.
I bought my first drone (syma x5+) it was great with an upgraded cam.
I would only recommend if you get the one with many batteries 👍🏻

Nice review. Actuallhy video quality on E58 is just amazing compare to most cheap drones on aliexpress these days that look like E58 (for example E88 pro). Not sure what they did to the camera downgrade, but everything looks like mud at 240p on E88 "pro" even with supposed "4K" camera.

That thing was super well hidden. I needed this to help me find where the damn port was.
i tried this drone for the first time last week. It was a but windy (not stormy but just regular windy), and the drone would not even fly forward. i calibrated it so it hovered almost perfect inside the house. When i had it take off outside, it flew towards me instantly because of the wind. When i gave it full speed ahead it could level itself against the wind, and fly foward at a VERY slow pace. Landing it without crashing was almost impossible. Am i doing something wrong? It doesn't seem to fly decent at all with a bit of wind, it could hardly fly forward against the wind....

WITHDRAWING THE FRONTAL LANDING PIECES OF THIS DRONE INCREASES ITS MANEUVERING AND RESPONSE CAPACITY INCREDIBLY! Those rods come into resonance with the propellers and engines all the time like pendules and the height control wears out a lot correcting those vibrations and obviously that shorts the life time of the engines and gears. Fly incredibly accurate without those poles. CHECK IT OUT!

That's about where I'm at also.. Just purchased a "Quadair" drone from their website, but after watching other vids I see it looks exactly like the same drone I just ordered..👀🧐

Thank you for this excellent review. I have this drone and enjoy it. I was wondering how I can enable the video but still use the remote control that came with the drone, not the phone controls.
I can get the video working with the app but cannot get the remote to work after that. It seems that the app blocks the remote signal. Is there a way that I can overcome this? Cheers!
I used the app JY UFO. Only activated video, and the controls still work.

Hi. I've looking for an answer what is the meaning of HEADLESS MODE! I never understand other reviews but as per your explanation: Let's say you are hovering, just follow your remote stick it will follow it whether the drone is facing north, south, east, or west ... It means the head of the drone is your remote? Is that the headless mode? Sorry but I've looking for the right answer! Thanks for the reply ... BTW, i have 3 drones (MJX101, e68 drone2 & VTOL MO2) at present but I don't know some functions ... :)
Hi! Usually when flying a done and you move the stick to the left, the drone will go left. If the front of the drone is facing you, it will still go to its own left (which is your right at the moment).
If you use headless mode, it will NOT move based on its orientation.
Let's say you put the drone on the ground in front of you, facing forward, and start hovering. The orientation doesn't matter now (since headless mode is on), so the front of drone can be heading forward, right, left, back or any other direction between.
Moving the stick to the left now, will make the drone go to YOUR left.
Even if the drones front is facing right, it will still fly to YOUR left.
Basically, when headless mode is switched on, the drone "saves" its orientation at that very moment, and keeps it. No matter how it rotates later, left will always be the left it saved earlier.

I think there are bigger batteries available, but I haven't tried them.
I found a battery model name BTE-EM-E58 (1200mAh), which seems to be for this drone.

I just bought this drone. I'm a complete beginner. Never played with drones. I have a Note 10 +. My phone fits in that phone slot but it's not "stable." How do I connect my phone with the controller so I can see what the drone is seeing? Is there an app? In the manual, software download and installation are for iOS and foreign Andrews system (whatever this means) only. Please help. Thank you

Its price is about 40$, but they sell it 100$ for one sometimes. No jimbal, not stable hovering. Can Not fly it on air under weak wind. For indoor only.

mine keeps saying "connected, no internet" when i try to use the app.
It says that because it’s not using WiFi for internet, it’s using it as a means of wireless communication that has farther range than Bluetooth. Hope that helps!

yes i think so i just bought this drone and i get it today i watched a lot of reviews and i think if you dont have SD card in the drone the drone will automatically record to your phone with lower quality

I wonder why these things, if they go out of range, don't automatically return to a place that is in range. How is someone supposed to know the "edge" of the range such as when it is over water like in this video?

sorry, it means, that if you pull the stick towards you, it will come towards you even if the back is pointed away, same goes for all the other 3 directions

I don't mind the plasticy (sic) feeling...actually, I prefer it over that cheap rubbery coating they put on everything now. The rubber coating eventually begins to rub off and looks a mess. I've had to replace camera cases coated with that abominable stuff because it always rubs off around the controls. Sometimes that rubbery stuff gets exposed to God knows what and becomes very sticky.
