What was that F35? Ive never seen one like it. Especially with rudder.

That is actually called an X35 made by “The Wingsmaker”. There are a couple threads about it on RC groups. It seems their models didn’t really take off but I found them 10-15 years ago and really enjoyed them. Very inexpensive and easy to modify. I’ve done a number of customized builds on their models over the years
The X35 model is designed with ailerons and elevator only, I modified this one with dual rudder and a thrust vector kit from AliExpress. I’m in the process of finishing the build, recently painted it and added telemetry and AS3X (never flew with gyros before)
I will do a build video on this model and the J10 that I am doing a similar build with.
Wingsmaker make (made?) some great flying models but I think they are discontinued. I was able to track down a small stock of their models. I bought 10 of their bare J10 kits and the last X35 bare kit they had. The kits were $69.
